Consumer Complaint: Two months ago I found out that there was a Wells Fargo credit card in my name with an approximately {$2000.00} balance. I contacted them. I was told a case would be put in place, no one ever responded. A month later I contacted them again. I was told that this was a card that was transferred to Wells Fargo from a company called XXXX XXXX XXXX. I explained that the balance on my XXXX XXXX XXXX was approximately {$200.00}!!!! They told me I had no recourse. I complained. My case was transferred to the Executive Offices and given to a representative named XXXX XXXX at XXXX. I began to call XXXX XXXX every day for over 10 days, the last few days I called her a couple of times each day. She never called me. She sent me an email in a private message area of their bank and said that I did in fact owe this money along with all fees, interest and missed payments. If I HAD NO IDEA I had an account with this bank HOW CAN THEY CHARGE ME FEES @!!!! In that letter is sounds like she refuses to budge on her statements. At the same time, she did not address ANY of my issues at all and just said " this is your balance '' basically. Further, I have sent emails, contact us things and even chatted with people on XXXX XXXX. I have begged for a phone call back from someone. To date, no phone call from anyone. This is absolutely 100 % WRONG! And, not only did I beg her to help me by transferring this inaccurate balance into a GL account at the bank until they can figure it out. I also begged her to not charge me any more fees and that I am in the process of buying a house so negative anything on my credit report is a huge problem. She refused to address any of this! Just FYI, when I called the customer service folks, they confirmed for me that they have heard these horror stories from other XXXXXXXX XXXX customers. There was a lack of communication and many many problems. At this point in time, because of Wells complete and utter lack of concern for the customer, I will not be paying any of this card UNTIL they fix the balance back to what it was when it was at XXXX which was about {$200.00}. The card is in my married name, I was recently married. It is under the name XXXX XXXX. I have the correct address on this complaint now. For some reason, I created this user ID before I was married for some reason so it shows XXXX XXXX and would like this changed on your site, if possible. The card is in XXXX XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: I am writing to inform you of a situation regarding XXXX of my banking institutions and some practices they have which I feel are deceptive and/or fraudulent. Neither bank is posting the fees and minimums for the types of Checking and Savings Accounts that I have/had as of XX/XX/XXXX. In XX/XX/XXXX I discovered I had been charged monthly service fees on my Wells Fargo Savings Account for the past 3 months. I thought I was well within the minimums and deposit requirements for this account however, what I found out was that because my account is so old, Wells Fargo no longer posts the Fees and minimums for their Money Market Savings Accounts. When I look on their website and download the fee and minimum schedule, they only list XXXX accounts, a Way2Save Account and a Platinum Savings Account. I assumed I had a Way2Save Account or that the fees and minimums were the same. Additionally in XXXX I was a victim of their account opening scandal where I was told I needed to open a seperate Way2Save Savings Account as overdraft protection since neither my checking or saving accounts. This account was closed when I found out that I was lied too. I assumed my Money Market fees were similar to this account, however, they were not. The minimum for the Way2Save was {$300.00}. I found out from contacting Wells Fargo that my Money Market Account was {$2500.00} or it can be waived with a {$75.00} recurring monthly deposit from my checking account. This is closer to the fees associated with the Platinum Account. After finding out I had been charged these fees, I called XXXX XXXX and looked online to find out the fees for my XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Account and Money Market Savings Account. They also did not have these posted as both accounts had been grandfathered in. The XXXX XXXX Representative I spoke with over the phone was also not able to provide me with the fees and minimums schedule for these accounts. She switched my Savings Account to XXXX of their newer versions saying it was a better account, but she thought the Silver Checking was better than their current options. I'm currently trying to take advantage of the higher Treasury Bill returns and have been keeping as little as required in my checking and savings accounts. Later XXXX also charged me a fee after I had spoken with the Representative, I had to call and get it reversed. I later found out they should not have charged me any fees because fees were waived as long as I had a credit card account with XXXX which I had had since opening the account. Wells Fargo also reimbursed me {$22.00} or {$7.00} for each {$10.00} I was charged. In summary, I feel not posting minimums is a deceptive practice and that banks should be required to clearly and concisely provide this information to their customers. I had my accounts set up so that I could keep minimal amounts in them, specifically for times like this when there are better investment avenues. Also, banks should not be able to randomly charge fees when they are not supposed too. It is infuriating how much power the banks have over the people of the XXXX. The banks should serve the people, not the other way around. In summary, I want to make you aware of this issue and hope that the regulations can be improved or enforced to require banks to provide fees and minimum information for all account types in use. I was issued a new card after WF did their fraud investigation. I was issued a new card on XX/XX/XXXX. It is currently XX/XX/XXXX and I have yet to receive the card in the mail. The card comes with a promotion to spend X amount in 90 days and receive Y bonus points. The days have been ticking off from the promotion yet I don't have a card and can't use it... I asked if they could reset the promotion date to when my new card was issued. The customer service rep was short, rude, and did not help. She said there was nothing to be done. This seems wrong...

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX Over {$650.00} was taken from my social security payment by wells fargo to pay XXXX XXXX a loan i have a clear access checking account which if funds are not in the account it cant be overdrawn or charged wells fargo has done this numerous times overdrawing my account charging me fees allowing different merchants to charge my account even when a stop payment is placed on the merchants i dont recognize wells fargo then locks me out the system online to file disputes customer service always refuses to give me a manager or other numbers to be assisted Wells fargo freezes my account for suspicious activity cuts my card off pays whom ever they want to when they want to wells fargo fails to update my bank account charges transactions and current balances Wells fargo takes days to clear posted transactions Wells fargo takes a very long time to dispute transactions at their fault after ive made request and not authourized services My account stays in a negative balance im charged for something every month all month long I am XXXX the fees are outrageous the bank is negligent they refuse to help you when you wont give them passwords debit card numbers or pin numbers they dont file claims properly they violate my rights such as social security benefits are exempt from garnishments collection agencies and so on yet wells fargo allows these thefts to occur Its been a week and money has not been credited back to my bank accounts the credits that are refunded end up being taken by another charge and not updated properly or filed under the correct information and title im charged late fees because of wells fargo not posting payments until they feel like it it has affected my credit score XXXX XXXX charged me for a loan i didnt request plus a late fee placed a default on my name and credit accused me of paying a loan off with a different card number not on file then released another loan at the same time one was unpaid in the same week days apart resulting in more late fees as well as wells fargo allowing them to use my account to cover the loans without my knowledge ive sent corporate emails with no help in fixing the situation its numerous charges from for subscriptions i didnt request over draft fees atm fees recurring charges i never set up paying my bills two times changing dates when payments are processed that differ from the mobile app tranactions are missing on statements I need all my XXXX money returned to me inconvience fees as an accomodation my information properly updated fixed with the credit bureaus fair opportunities for credit cards applications i submitted to wells fargo but was denied because of their errors
