Consumer Complaint: A couple of payments before XX/XX/XXXX Wells Fargo has applied my monthly principal interest payment payment payment as an interest only payment. They are not authorized to do this. There is nothing written in my agreement that they have the authority or right to apply by entire P & I payment to finance chg aka interest charge. My agreement states that my payment is due on the XXXX of each month and that I do have a 10 day grace period od which they are failing to honor. And if I go four or five days passed the due date of the XXXX they penalize me by taking my entire P & I paymt and applying it as finance charge only! They are completely ignoring that I have a 10 day Grace period and that if I am subject to a fee it is written that I only pay a late fee of 5 % of by {$770.00} monthly XXXX WHICH equals to {$38.00} per late payment. And being 10 days late or more entitled them to rec ONLY a late fee and no other penalties. It does not say anywhere in my agreement that they have the authorization to take my entire payment and apply it to interest only as a penalty this is not correct to apply my payment as interest only each month I have a 10 day grace period which is written in my agreement and Im sure that its in the REAL ESTATE note that states I also have a 10 day grace period. They have failed to show proof of any kind whatsoever showing that they have the authority and written agreement to take my entire P & I payment and apply it to finance charges when I have not broken any kind of agreement and they are failing to honor the XXXX GRACE PERIOD!!!! They will NOT honor the 10 day grace period at all they have been applying interest only XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX, this needs to be corrected and I am being ignored and XX/XX/XXXX. They show on the statement they received a payment from me on XXXX XXXX XXXX for {$770.00}. The principal applied with XXXX XXXX they finance charge with {$600.00}, next statement shows they received no payment of which they did and I have a receipt for it! It is not my problem that their computer spits out a statement before my 10 day grace period has passed so they sent out a statement that says I made no payment. The finance charge was {$590.00}, the next statement shows a payment was posted XX/XX/XXXX of {$770.00} and all of that amount was applied to finance charge only this is incorrect. I have a 10 day grace period. My payment is due on the XXXX that was made on the XXXX. They are not honoring the grace period at all. next payment statement shows they received a payment for me on XX/XX/XXXX at {$770.00} which was applied to all finance charge that is incorrect. I have a 10 day grace period that payment is due on the XXXX of each month that is only XXXX days past the due date. Next statement shows a payment received by Wells Fargo on XX/XX/XXXX in the amount of {$770.00} and it was all applied to finance charge. That payment was made by me on XXXX XXXX it is not considered late until the 10 day grace period is past. My payment is due on the XXXX of each month And it was made on the XXXX. They do not have the authority to apply my entire payment to interest only next payment was received by Wells Fargo on XX/XX/XXXX {$770.00}. They applied only {$68.00} the principal and they applied {$700.00} to finance charge which is incorrect. The principal should have been over {$100.00} And the finance charge is overcharged. Next payment shows they received a payment for me on XX/XX/XXXX {$770.00} is the principal interest they applied {$150.00} to principal. They applied {$610.00} to the finance charge. I do not have the XXXX statement as of yet I made that payment on time. Also they have stated That they try to reach out to me by calling me but intentionally they call me XXXX minutes till XXXX oclock and when I called back I get their answering machine and they do not return my call so theyre just playing games and they need to be put in their place and told what theyre doing is very incorrect. They need to stop applying my principal and interest payment of {$770.00} to interest and if I am more than 10 days like they only are to charge me {$38.00} late fee. This is all they are entitled to, they do not have the authority to take my entire monthly payment. Think about it, it doesnt take much of a banker to know that if you are just paying interest each month, theres no way you can ever pay your loan off, it just wont happen. When your maturity date arrives, you will owe the same amount you borrowed. Now does this makes sense?

Consumer Complaint: Wells Fargo never rectified the problem they caused. Under writers mismanaged our mortgage. This is a ongoing problem, my third complaint. We refinanced with Wells fargo. Our property XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, over 2 years ago. They appraised the property XXXX. We owed XXXX, XXXX to the previous bank. Wells Fargo took over the mortgage The following year we received letter our property was going into a XXXX, the taxes were not being paid for XXXX. We have a escrow account. Numerous letters, phone calls never rectified saying the property was not secured in the loan. The mistake they made from the beginning. I recently had to pay them over XXXX because there wasn't enough in the escrow. If I didn't pay it our payment would increase from XXXX a month to over XXXX. I paid it, but our payment still went up to over XXXX. How is it possible they can get away with this.

Consumer Complaint: I had bought a vehicle from XXXX XXXX in XXXX of XXXX. Everything went fine and theuir were no issues at first. I received my policy documents and noticed that were thousands of dollars tacked onto the loan that I did not agree to or was aware of. So I reached out to the dealership responsible and had them send the money to XXXX XXXX for roughly {$4300.00} and XXXX XXXX informed me that it would push the payments I owed back so that I would not have to pay for awhile. Come XXXX of XXXX I had firgured I had several months left of no payment but they reached out telling me I was late. At this time I was confused and found out that XXXX XXXX had received payment but it did not lower the length of the loan- did not pay towards the front end- or my monthly payments. Several weeks calling XXXX XXXX and nobody could explain what happened to the money given to them. So I started the dispute process. During the dispute process XXXX XXXX told me that one option was to redo the loan with the lower loan balance due to them getting a payment from the dealership. I told them I would love to do that because I was experiencing financial hardships and the lower payment amount would help. They lost the call apparently and could not find any evidence that happened. Then I got a letter saying that it would eventually go into repossession status with no resolution to my claim. So I called trying to pay them several thousands of dollars to keep my loan and the XXXX XXXX representative told me that they would not accept any payment other than the entire {$32000.00} remaining on the loan. I told them I had notified them of financial hardship and did not have {$32000.00}. They would not accept any other solution and repossessed my vehicle while having an open dispute as of XXXX of XXXX. To summarize : They told me a dealership payment would go towards the front end of the loan and I would not owe for awhile and lied. It did nothing to help my loan as payments and lease term remained the same Told me we would be able to redo the loan with a lower loan amount to help me lower my payments and start fresh. Then " couldn't find the call '' Took the vehicle from my driveway during an active claim Refused to take payment from me so that I could resolve my vehicle being in future repossession status.

Consumer Complaint: My Wells Fargo card was used fraudulently in XX/XX/2022 to make purchases at a XXXX XXXX and a store named XXXX. Wells Fargo continues to tell me the charges are valid, On or around XX/XX/XXXX I was contacted by a 'XXXX ' from Wells Fargo Executive Offices and we had a conference with the Wells Fargo Fraud Investigation Team . During this conference I was told by Wells Fargo that it 'appears ' that I made the charges- I not anyone known to me made the charges abd yet Wells Fargo is forcusing me to pay for something I don't have. 'Appears ' is not sufficient proof that I made the charges it is conjecture, speculation. The onus is on Wells Fargo to prove I made the charges, it is not up to me to prove I did not. A police report was filed, an FTC Identity Theft report was filed. I nor anyone known to me made these charges. During the conference call in XXXX, the Fraud Investigation Team was asked by XXXX to provide additonal proof that I made the charges. I was told I would hear back within 10 days. I have not. I've tried to call XXXX on numerous occasions but he never answers nor does he ever return my phone calls after I leave a voice mail XXXX can be contacted at XXXX All Wells Fargo keeps doing to me is harassment. They state I have not provided additional evidence. It is not up to me to prove the alleged appearance that I did not make the charges. The onus is on Wells Fargo to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that I made the chrages they have not. I want the credit card closed after a credit is issued for the fraudulent charges. They keep telling me they will provide real evidence ( beyond appearance ) that I made the charge. This is unethical and is elder abue XXXX discrimination to make a XXXX XXXX with a serious XXXX pay for something they never purchased and don't have the benefit of owning.

Consumer Complaint: On Monday, XX/XX/2023, at XXXX XXXX XXXX, I received a call from Wells Fargo reporting that my account had had been flagged due to an attempt to change my password. The phone call lasted XXXX minutes. The person on the other line was viewing my account for their end and was asking if I had lost my card, been attempting to purchase anything in XXXX XXXX XXXX, Arizona, '' or had any of XXXX payment apps ( XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX breached. I advised that we had not traveled outside of Idaho nor would any transactions in Arizona be authorized. The was very polite, professional, and assured me they were going to stop the attempt at an authorized charge. They gave me a temporary password for my online banking, and send verification codes to continue updating and " clearing my info from the payment apps. '' I had just gotten back from vacation and was driving my son to his football practice and was very distracted as well as upset at the nature of the phone call. I was reading the verification codes off my XXXX XXXX as they were being sent, while I was talking to them on the phone. At that time, they advised that there looked like a pending charge from " XXXX '' was showing, but it would be removed as a fraudulent charge. They verified that my account was then secure, and stated that another Wells Fargo representative would call me in 24 hours to follow up on the issue. By Wednesday XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, I had realized that Wells Fargo had not called me back yet so I logged into my online banking to see that there were three, {$1000.00} charges from my checking account to " XXXX, New York. '' I immediately called Wells Fargo, whom advised they had never called me two days previous. At was at this time I realized I had been completely scammed. I reported the three charges as fraud immediately. I later received a written letter from Wells Fargo, dated XX/XX/2023, that stated the transaction was authorized and my claim was closed. I then called Wells Fargo, upon receipt of the letter, on XX/XX/2023, to further inquire why the claim was closed without reversing the charges. The Wells Fargo employee did not divulge a reason, at which time, I advised I would be reporting the issue to all authorities possible as well as filing a police report if recommended. Further investigation from Wells Fargo should reveal that the password change on XX/XX/XXXX was most likely from an IP address NOT in Idaho ( therefore not me ). They should be able to see that my account was breached prior to be even getting the phishing phone call XXXX minutes after my password was changed. I did not authorize these transactions, nor do I have any familiarity or business with the company " XXXX. ''

Consumer Complaint: I am a business owner for XXXX yrs and I was XXXX XXXXXXXX at XXXX different banks and XXXX XXXX XXXX over several years. Now senior over XXXX. I am very good with filing papers and clean. When I first opened an checking account at the Wells Fargo bank in XXXX I received a deposit agreement which says customer to claim within 60days to report fraud unauthorize transactions. I noticed nobody even employees knew and read these agreements.I kept it in my cabinets till now. When I opened new account in XX/XX/XXXX I remember clearly who opened and I signed machine per instructed. I had never received the signature cards copy which was transfered my signature which I just found it XXXX yrs later when I requested a copy. Bank should never let customer sign and transfer this into the agreement without customer acknowledge it. Info was outdated and I will never sign without checking it. I had never received deposit agreement. None. XX/XX/XXXX When I reported to check my account cashed as unauthorized transaction bank officer told me to open a new account. I followed her instruction. I had never signed and she never gave me a deposit agreement. About XXXX later I received by mail blank signature sheet to sign for new account with all the personal infomation include social security, birthday, driver 's license, address and acct number clearly as the joint account holder of my son. I had never asked bank to open as joint account. Later I complained to XXXX who opened an account she said head office opened an account no her. She doesn't know any. I didn't get the deposit agreement. XXXX weeks after XX/XX/XXXX Bank denied my claim to reimburse and XXXX was shocked because of she told me bank will credit in XXXX days. XXXX was shocked to find it out and I had asked her which document to say. She even didn't know I suggested her to bring an deposit agreement and I showed her where. This is the proof of she didn't give me the deposit agreement when I opened an account. How do I know about new deposit agreement which never given and XXXX XXXX XXXX into XXXX. Other banks I use always send me monthly paper statements with copy of the checks. XXXX said it will be cost {$3.00} each mo. when I had asked her. I later found it will be included to my account as premier account. I was so dissapointed not given all my right even I had discussed with XXXX when I was introduced to her by other officer who takes care of me. Please review all my accounts signature cards and bank shouldn't let customer sign even before given the deposit agreement or anything. ( I was not given any thing. ) WF bank should be more careful and let customer to be insured to understand importance of the deposit agreement and avoid to give false info to customers.

Consumer Complaint: I met a woman on XXXX. We began to talk for a while. She then started telling me she was making money in XXXX. It took her a while but then I made a small investment. I made money. I then made a larger investment. Made more money. I then made a very large investment. The total investment is XXXX. Her back story was that she is from XXXX. Her sister married a man in a town south of where I live. Her sister talked to her moving here. She said her uncle was a retired XXXX XXXX. And was in XXXX. He had a team that was figuring out the math to invest in the market. At the end of XXXX, she and her sister went to XXXX XXXX where her uncle lives. This was supposed to be for his birthday and retirement party. She was supposed to be here at the beginning of XXXX. We had plans to live together. She wanted to stay till the end of XXXX and learn more from this investment team. We continue to trade during this time making a supposed lot of money. At the end of XXXX she said her mother was in the hospital. The mother wasn't going to make Live. She and her sister went home to XXXX. At this time is when the trading ended. She said let 's take the money out of the market and pay off the lone I had. And pay back my IRA. I did the withdrawal. The next morning, she message me and asked me to check to see if my Withdrawal went through. That hurts had been Denied. I looked in minded been denied. I asked the customer service for the market why it had been denied. They said the taxes need to be paid up front. This made me suspicious. I started asking questions an accountant at an online trading company. They both said this was wrong. I should be able to pay my taxes out of my account. I have not been able to recover any of my money.
