Consumer Complaint: I currently am planning on renovating my home into a XXXX and am working with a investment group who have accepted my offer to them to remodel my home at their expense for a cut of the profits upon completion. And as a gift to me and my soon to be wife they were to send us money to both of us divided between 2 accounts to make materials expenses and labor expenses separate. So we went to wells fargo to receive the funds electronically via wire transfer. But upon. The investors sending money to the ban one account was XXXX and the other was XXXX roughly wells fargo closes my account and her account and are stating it's because fraud. But I know that the funds did not come from a fraudulent source. And any transaction to my routing number is to me .. now the investors are telling them that I am the recipient and wells fsrgo is telling me that by technicalities they don't have to pay me the money. They are saying the money is to be verified by the sender in person firstly before I am allowed to have the funds. And even scarier to me. Anybody with their name can wall in the bank and withdrawal money sent to me easier than it would be for me. Construction has been completely halted and I'm unable to satisfy their requests to reopen or unblock my account. Wells Fargo is reluctant to talk to me or comply with regulations

Issue: Incorrect information on your report
Subissue: Account information incorrect
Consumer Complaint: I am writing to dispute misleading and false information that has been included in my credit reports provided by both XXXX and XXXX. The fraudulent reporting has caused significant harm to my personal and financial reputation over the past XXXX years. I have recently discovered numerous errors within my credit reports which were originally sent to XXXX, leading to the removal of erroneous information related to Wells Fargo Card Services. However, it has come to my attention that this same inaccurate information regarding Wells Fargo Card Services has remained on my XXXX and XXXX accounts, tarnishing my creditworthiness unfairly. Upon careful review of my credit reports, I found the following mistakes : False Account History : The account listed under " WELLS FARGO CARD SERVICES '' is incorrect. I have never had any association with this entity, nor have I ever opened or maintained a credit card account through them. This mistaken listing implies that I possess outstanding debts or negative payment history with Wells Fargo, which is entirely untrue. Negative Payment Timeline : My supposed non-payment incidents associated with Wells Fargo Card Services inaccurately portray a poor payment pattern, damaging my overall credit score and hindering my ability to secure favorable terms for future financial endeavors. It is essential to rectify this matter immediately to restore my true creditworthiness. Personal Identity Theft Concerns : Given the consistent misinformation regarding Wells Fargo Card Services, I fear that my identity may have been compromised and used unlawfully to open fraudulent accounts. It is crucial that appropriate investigations are conducted by XXXX and XXXX to address this potential identity theft issue promptly. Please send written confirmation upon completion of the investigation and subsequent actions taken to rectify these false reporting issues. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX Dear Sir/Madam, I have been a victim of the unlawful practices of Wells Fargo Bank had my accounts frozen, and fake accounts created under my name. These actions have caused me great harm and financial loss, and I seek justice and redress through this letter. As you are aware, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau ( CFPB ) has ordered Wells Fargo to pay more than {$2.00} XXXX in redress to consumers and a {$1.00} XXXX civil penalty for legal violations across several of its largest product lines. The bank 's illegal conduct led to billions of dollars in financial harm to its customers and, for thousands of customers, the loss of their vehicles and homes. My case is a clear example of the kind of harm that Wells Fargo has caused to its customers. The bank unlawfully froze my account ( s ) fraudulently outside of my control, even when they could have taken other actions that would not have harmed me. Customers like myself and others alike were affected by these account freezes and were unable to access any of their money in accounts at the bank for an average of at least two weeks. Wells Fargo also created what I presumed fake accounts, unrecognizable to me, under my name, which clearly violates the bank 's fiduciary responsibility towards its customers. This practice has affected over XXXX XXXX consumer accounts and caused widespread financial harm to its customers. I suffered a great deal of financial harm and loss due to Wells Fargo 's illegal and unethical practices by not being able to access my accounts for an extended period of time, which caused me great significant financial and emotional stress and burden. Because of the banks action, I missed doctor visits and bill payments. During this time, I was under doctors care being seen for an injury I sustained in XXXX of XXXX while working with XXXX overseas. See Below : XXXXPlease note that an employee who, without good cause, fails or refuses to appear at the time scheduled for an examination authorized by Rule 126.6 may be assessed a Class D administrative penalty per Texas Workers Compensation Act, Texas Labor Code, Section XXXX ( f ). According to current XXXX ( h ) if an injured employee fails to attend or appear, without good cause, weekly benefits may be interrupted. XXXX As a result of Wells Fargos unfair and deceptive acts, my weekly benefits were interrupted which in turn caused me great mental anguish, damage to my character, loss of opportunities ( business and personal ), enjoyment of life as well as interrupted my mode of living. Additionally, the creation of fake accounts under my name has damaged my trust in the banking system. I request that the court holds Wells Fargo accountable for their actions and provide redress to me for the harm I have suffered. Additionally, I request that Wells Fargo pay restitution and any additional compensation for the losses suffered by me as a result of the bank 's unlawful actions. I pray that the court considers the gravity of the situation and ensures that justice is served, being that Wells Fargo continues to show disregard for the laws set forth by their governing body which controls the banking institutions. Furthermore, I hope that Wells Fargo will be held accountable for their actions and that they will take steps to prevent such occurrences in the future. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
