Consumer Complaint: Prior Wells Fargo rep replied to below complaint by referring to prior replies which include various run arounds, which is common for Wells Fargo and I believe the CFPB would agree, is not a reply... .As explained in numerous prior CFPB complaints against Wells Fargo XXXX account ending in XXXX was opened by Wells Fargo XXXX which I did not request... A debit card purchase made under account in amount of {$290.00} from Farfetch.com was made in XXXX of XXXX, package shipped by XXXX, signature was forged by XXXX driver, package left where it was lost/stolen .... A dispute was filed with Wells Fargo for non-receipt of item XXXX a provisional credit issued in amount of {$290.00}, it was later reversed back out of account, Wells Fargo accepts forged signature as true and correct and refers to purchase as authorized which has nothing to do with non-receipt of item.. Two external funds transfers in amount of {$50.00} brought the account to - {$190.00}, later charged off and sent to a third party collection agency. Wells Fargo replied in part to this issue by sending mediation request forms, a total of three of these such forms have been filled out, submitted, two marked as duplicate, case number provided for third request, number XXXX which is attached to complaint. The letter is dated XXXX of this year, stating a rep would reach out, no one reached out and when I call the number provided on letter, I am told call will be disconnected and refer back to prior mediation in which case, no payment received ... .Needless to say, this is a mere runaround, which is common for Wells Fargo XXXX The prior mediation is from XXXX and relates to older accounts opened by Wells Fargo which I did not request... The case ID for that mediation is XXXX, I was offered a payment amount of {$3700.00} plus estimated IRS taxes totaling {$5100.00}, payment sent to my old address in error which Wells Fargo reps will not admit to. Payment was sent in XXXX of XXXX, I moved in XXXX of XXXX to my current address at XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, CT XXXX. Payment was sent to my old address at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, CT XXXX. Wells Fargo reps initially replied to this issue by referring to check as cashed, in which case, not by myself. When investigated and unable to recover funds, Wells Fargo refuses to reissue check despite their own error in sending check to incorrect address. Additionally, Wells Fargo has reported the amount to IRS for tax year 2020, 1099 form is attached... I've requested Wells Fargo correct this form to show no such payment received, as they refuse to reissue payment ... Wells Fargo replied to this issue by referring me to a tax professional whom advised 1099 form needs to be corrected, if not, I am liable for taxes on reported amount not received..When I brought this to Wells Fargo attention , they appear to refer back to prior replies which do not address it. I believe the CFPB can see this is a runaround. With regard to these issues above, Wells Fargo reps reply with various lines ranging from referring to prior replies, stating litigation is involved and refuse to reply, claim no new information provided and ignore information already provided... In closing, please advise Wells Fargo to correct IRS 1099 form if they will not reissue payment. With regard to account ending in XXXX, their mediation request forms appear to be a run around, I suggest refunding the XXXX purchase in amount of {$290.00} which will bring account to a balance of {$100.00} and refund this amount to me. In closing, should Wells Fargo reo ( s ) refer back again to prior replies, this bank and its reps have little to no credibility, having been fined by CFPB in amount of XXXX XXXX for handling of deposit accounts named in this complaint ... Needless to say, their bogus replies including various run arounds, have no weight.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023 I noticed multiple unauthorized transactions on my account. I first noticed {$240.00} charged at a XXXX XXXX in XXXX XXXX CA and an additional {$40.00} charged at a local XXXX. I noticed after seeing these charges that my card was no longer in my purse and must have been lost or stolen recent to these charges. I contacted Wells Fargo to open a claim to reimburse the {$280.00} worth of unauthorized charges on my account and was later declined. The reason for the denial was said to be due to the charges being within a 16 mile radius of my house as well as the card being used as chip or tap for some of the transactions, even though that does not always require a pin to be used to complete the transaction since the person who made these purchases did not have my pin. I never received an update on my claim, and had to reach out to Wells Fargo for this to be explained to me 2 weeks later, far beyond the 10 day window they promise. Im very disappointed in the lack of protection of my account, especially since this is what Wells Fargo says is one of their main selling points for opening an account with them.

Till today Wells Fargo is still sending the mails to my residential address and refusing to use my XXXX XXXX XXXX address as indicated on my account mailing address preference. Notice : I attached here a letter was sent to my residential address on XX/XX/2023. as a proof of NONE COMPLIANCE BY WELLS FARGO with the laws and regulations As I promised those working from the comfort of their homes sub-contractors for Wells Fargo without any supervision and who are labeled as XXXX. I am reposting my Complaint again till a Real Wells Fargo manager deal with my issue and find me a solution. For the last 2 years Wells Fargo is refusing to follow the laws and the regulation and my account preference regarding my Mailing address which is a XXXX XXXX XXXX and Wells fargo is still insisting to mail the letters regarding my account to my Residential address, even though. my account and my profile preference are indicating my mailing address to be the XXXX XXXX XXXX and even after more than XXXX complaint, TILL NOW Wells Fargo is still insisting that I do not have the rights of having the XXXX XXXX XXXX my mailing address and they are still mailing the letters related to my account to my residential address. The So called XXXX s who are answering my complaints are refusing to address this issue properperly I think because they do NOT have any experience in customer service and they do NOT know how how, they are not telling the truth and at many answers to the complaints The so called XXXX put in writing misleading statements that they updated my mailing address to be the XXXX XXXX but those statements are false because right after every misleading response more letters from Wells fargo was mailed to my residential address. Those responses by so called XXXX who seem to be in fact sub-contractors who are getting paid by the number of replies they perform to the Wells Fargo customers are misleading and most of the responses from those who are working from the comfort of their homes without any supervision and not under any management and are labeled as XXXX, are just a copy and paste answers and at most cases, the answers have nothing to to with the subject of the complaint. Till now Wells Fargo is still performing this illegal act by not obeying the laws and regulation of the US government and still not following my account preferences even after more than XXXX misleading letters I received from those working from the comfort of their homes XXXX stating that they updated my mailing address to the B.O.BOX, But till now Wells Fargo is still mailing the letters to my RESIDENTIAL ADDRESS Wells fargo is still ignoring the civil rights and the privacy rights of the customers and o myself. Consumer Complaint: Regarding Wells Fargo Bank. This complaint is in regarding to be what we ( my wife and I ) would consider to be irregular and possibly fraudulent practices by Wells Fargo in the handling and holding of funds to be deposited into two separate business accounts, under two separate names and of different amounts. Both deposits were in excess of {$7000.00} and deposited via mobile banking on XX/XX/. On XX/XX/XXXX sometime after XXXX XXXX we had become concerned that the checks did not post to our account. We contacted Wells Fargo and were advised that the issuing bank, in this case XXXX, had placed a hold on the checks citing possible fraud. To make a very long story short the business, which was a title company that issued the checks along with XXXX went out of their way to prove through documentation that not only that no hold was ever placed on the checks but that in fact the checks were posted cleared and the money withdrawn by Wells Fargo. After innumerable phone calls to Wells Fargo and visits to the branch to speak with the branch manager, they continue to protest that a hold was placed on the checks and were not releasing the funds until the hold was cleared - 7 business days. We believe that Wells Fargo, in fact, was the company that placed the hold on the checks, is in receipt of the money, and holding that money for their own purposes with no regard for the financial impact to the small businesses, to entrusted their money to Wells Fargo. This issue is still unresolved at this date and time and we are without any other means or method or recourse to address the issue and now both businesses have negative account balances and are unable to function or provide business services to our clients. Wells Fargo has put my bank account under due diligence review requesting Certain Documentation before a Due date in XXXX XXXX. I Sent All the documents to my due diligence Reviewer XXXX XXXX, Days before the due date, I ask if she has everything needed to complete the review. She says that If there is anything needed, she will give me a call before the due date. I receive no call. I attempt to call her but she does not answer her phone. A month and a half later, without any warning, I can not pay for some office supplies that I need and my employees checks are not being accepted. I go to the bank and they say my account is on hold, and that I need to contact XXXX. I call XXXX multiple times along with a XXXX certified XXXX XXXX. I can not even take my funds out of the bank. They are totally frozen without warning. Despite me having made a formal request to accesss my own money She does not respond. It takes her days to respond by call and she says that There are deficiencies in the documents that I sent. I reviewed the documents with a XXXX professional and I double check them personally, We both see no deficiencies. I reply asking what are the specific deficiencies, and I receive an automated email stating she is going to be absent for a full week until the XXXX. This incident caused by Wells Fargo has already caused me and my business significant material harm and I need to access my funds, thus I am seeking help. It has been 2 weeks since It has been frozen, the total amount frozen is XXXX XXXX total. There is no state or legal mandate to freeze this money, Wells Fargo is fully responsible for this.

I am complaining about A Wells Fargo Branch MANAGER, I went to the branch in XXXX on XXXX to find out that My ATM card was expired, I asked The BRANCH MANAGER to order for me a replacement, AFter the branch MANAGER looked at my account he told me I need to set an appointment to meet with a banker to order a replacement ATM. card. Because I have been for over than 35 years a customer of Wells Fargo and i never heard such lie before, I asked why? the manager told me that The Banker will be discussing my options for my accounts and Will be ordering the ATM. card for me right away and told me do not worry about the appointment I will set you up with an earliest appointment possible. The branch manager did not tell me that I can also order the Replacement ATM card online and over the phone and been dealing with a branch manager the manager should be able to order the replacement card. So I stepped out of the branch and before i go to my car I ordered a replacement Atm card by calling the 800 number of wells fargo and it did not take me more than 30 Seconds. It seems wells Fargo manager and management did not learn after the 3 BILLION DOLLARS FINE. and they still trying to scam the customers and trying to open more accounts for the customers for the managers and employees benefits. I filed complaints here about this issue but the persons who answered the complaints seems to be not a Wells Fargo employees they seem to be working as subcontractors from the comfort of their homes without any supervision or management. because I asked for a manager and supervisor several and the answer was the same WE DO NOT HAVE MANAGER OR SUPERVISORS. Those contractors are labeled as ECMOs They can not do more than copy and paste answers to complaint and they can not do an investigation or find a solution but they can lie. I am posting this complaint again till a REAL Wells Fargo Bank MANAGER deal with my complaint and find me a solution. It must be a hidden reason that benefits the banker. 2- DOES THIS MANAGER THINK I AM STUPID TO TELL ME THAT HE CAN NOT RENEW MY CARD ON HIS COMPUTER? 3- HOW COME WHEN I WENT OUTSIDE OF THE BRANCH AND CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE , THE CUSTOMER SERVICE RENEWED MY CARD IN 30 SECOND PHONE CALL? 4- WHY THE MANAGER OF THE BRANCH HAVE NO EXPERIENCE AND DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO RENEW A TELLER MACHINE CARD? 5- IS WELLS FARGO HIRING MANAGERS FOR THE BRANCHES WITH NO EXPERIENCE SIMILAR TO THE ONE WHO JUST ANSWERED MY COMPLAINT AND LABELED AS XXXX? WHEN THE BANCH WAS EMPTY OF CUSTOMERS EXCEPT MEWHY THE MANAGER COULD NOT RENEW MY ATM CARD ON HIS COMPUTER?, 6- WHY HAS WELLS FARGO REFUSED TO INVESTIGATE THIS POSSIBLE MISCONDUCT? I will keep posting this complaint till my issue is read and solved by a REAL Wells Fargo manager and not by those subcontractors who are working per diems from the comfort of their home without any supervision or manager and have no authority to investigate and find a resolution.

Consumer Complaint: Case Number : XXXX Account Number ending in : XXXX Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Case Number XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX first let me say thank you for responding to my concerns. However, I do not feel that this matter was thoroughly reviewed and that my issues have not been properly addressed. I will explain why below : About the claim : On XX/XX/XXXX, claim number XXXX ( Reference Number XXXX ) was created to dispute the transactions totaling {$1500.00}. The claim was denied and unpaid. The Claims Assistance Center determined that the transactions were authorized or that a processing error did not occur. The provisional credits of {$500.00} and {$1000.00} were reversed from the account ending in XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX and on XX/XX/XXXX. Were you aware that when the dispute was first filed that my funds were initially reversed and returned to my account? Should the funds have been reversed at that time ( XXXX ) if the investigation was still pending? It was not until XX/XX/XXXX and XXXX of XXXX that the funds were then reversed and deducted from my account for the reasons you gave above. Can you advise as to why 3 months ( XXXX ) and then 5 months ( XXXX ) funds were deducted from my account from a dispute I filed in XXXX?

Consumer Complaint: My account has been involved with fraud. I had {$2000.00} drained from my account due to fraudulent charges. I was been contacted by what I thought to be Wells Fargo as the phone number on the back of the card matched and was on the phone with his so-called representative for over an hour. That also turned out to be fraudulent. When I realize that my card was still getting fraudulent charges the next day, I called Wells Fargo and they stated they had not seen any remarks about anyone talking to me the day prior. I have since done over the last few weeks intently. Been trying to get a hold of somebody to help me. They did credit some back to my account in the amount of XXXX something dollars however then sent me a letter stating that my case was closed due to their investigation being complete and stated that either I made the charges or give somebody permission to make the charges which neither are true. I still to this day XXXX fighting to get my {$2000.00} back that I got for my high school graduation and I am not being able to get anywhere with anybody without being transferred several times or hung up on. Please advise me of what I can do in order to rectify the situation.
