Consumer Complaint: I understand there is a settlement involving Santander Consumer USA and I believe I am a victim. I have had my car since XXXX and Im am still trying to manage my high payments. I have once, in XX/XX/XXXX got my car repossessed because of low payments and been able to reinstate my loan with a high reinstatement fee. When I initially walked into the dealer ship I went with a former friend to be a possible co-signer if needed. Some how the tables turned towards me and I was being offered a loan.

Consumer Complaint: Santander consumer USA. Has been involved in a law suit and Illinois was involved. And it included me. Do to bad practice and 24 % interest rate on a made up credit score. And they sold me car gap insurance without my knowledge witch made my car payment XXXX $ a month A 5 year contract loan had the vehicle 4 1/2 years with a balance of XXXX. When original price was XXXX. Santanders aqreed to remove from my credit report and they have not. And also they aqreed for giveness loan and give me title to the vehicle that I already paid 3xs for it. My next step is filing a civil law suit with a attorney.

Consumer Complaint: I financed a car with Santander starting at $ XXXX and paid for 2 years {$370.00} plus and the vehicle was parked for mechanical issues in a garage and I retained an attorney to negotiate terms because the vehicle became non operative ... the garage placed a lien on the vehicle and it was sold in an auction. Santander now fails to modify the balance of the vehicle but has magnified it {$3000.00} over from I financed and I paid nearly up +/- {$7500.00} while it was in my pocession ... I called personally on several occassions and each rep was totally uncooperative or willing to assist as my attorney named XXXX XXXX said he endered the same ... Santander should be sanctioned for reporting incorrect information or remove this derogatory marking from my credit bureaus they report to promptly and why I seek your help

Consumer Complaint: Today, XX/XX/XXXX, I want to send this complaint to CHRYSLER CAPITAL. This is the account information : Account # XXXX, opene on XX/XX/XXXX, high credit : {$14000.00}. I had my automatic payment set up and the account, I had money. Chrysler Capital did not charge the last car payment. Apparently, they did not do it because the amount was lower. They only noticed me on the phone after it was 30 days due. Very unfair that ruined my credit after 7 years being on time to them. You can imagine how this ruined my life, all I am asking is a fair solution to this issue. They are also being UNFAIR, committing NEGLIGENCE, not reporting the account as " disputed '' after receiving my dispute notice ( see attached proof ). All these are violations to the California Credit Reporting Act. My demand : I want the late payment for XX/XX/XXXX removed from my report. Please send the attache documents to Chryslet Capital.

A lawsuit was filed against the company for financing and securitization of sub-prime auto loans in Maryland. I was a victim of this lawsuit ; I purchased a XXXX XXXX XXXX from XXXX XXXX and XXXX in XXXX MD, XXXX XXXX XXXX. My credit score at the time was low, however I was approved for a vehicle through Santander banking, with an interest rate of 21.83 % .The amount financed is XXXX and with the interest I will be paying XXXX. I have paid approximately XXXX into the auto loan since XX/XX/2017. I have the Sales Contract and any other documentation that is needed for the complaint. This has caused me a hardship. I have made payment arrangements in the last year to apply payments on the end of my contract.

The vehicle was purchased in XX/XX/2018 for 36 months and as of today the pay off does NOT reflect the accurate amount as it is still over $ XXXX. All payments have been on time and in full but are not being applied appropriately. Santander is inaccurately reporting late payments to my credit that have not happened and mischarging late fees.

Consumer Complaint: I am aware that Santander Consumer is being sued and I wanted to file a complaint against this company due to their fraudulent practices. As a former customer I financed a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and was affected by Santander practices. Santander violated consumer protection laws by exposing subprime consumers to unnecessarily high levels of risk and knowingly placing these consumers into auto loans with a high probability of default. As a result I was one of the many customers who was stuck with a very high interest rate and my vehicle was repossessed in XX/XX/XXXX. This company engaged in deceptive servicing practices and misled us consumers.

Consumer Complaint: I have leased two Chrysler vehicles in the last few years a XXXX XXXX XXXX and a XXXX XXXX XXXX. - On the previous lease ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) we were overcharged for a tax payment and ended up overpaying Chrysler Capital. I called and spent hours trying to get a mistake created on Chrysler Capital 's end sorted out over the last 18 months. - Because of a lot of back and forth, as well as misguidance from Chrysler Capital Allegiance Team, my account had a delayed payment on it in the amount of {$110.00}, which Chrysler Capital reported to the credit bureaus even though I did pay it right within 30 days ( we paid it once we had not heard anything back from Chrysler regarding overpayment ). -After calling and explaining the situation ( as well as our perfect payment history ), Ive been told by Chrysler Capital Allegiance Team multiple times that this delayed payment would be removed by the credit disputes team but have yet to see this reflected on my credit report. - Last week, I was told previous associates " misspoke '' regarding getting the delayed payment being removed from the credit report and would be further trained and potentially let go Chrysler Capital has not only provided misinformation MULTIPLE times, which resulted in this dispute, but they have not removed this from my credit report as they have told me repeatedly they would.
