Any derogatory reporting to credit bureaus should be deleted immediately. I didnt close the account. Any unpaid debt or late payments being reported should go back to the creditor due to closing my account. This action needs to be updated and reported to all bureaus immediately for deletion.

Consumer Complaint: First PORTFOLIO RECOVERY ASSOCIATES LLC has violated 15 U.S. Code 1692c. As demanded in the complaint ( XXXX ) a cease and desist was sent demanded through the complaint. PRA has violated this by sending another letter to me on another alleged account. A Cease and Desist were sent to " PORTFOLIO RECOVERY ASSOCIATES LLC '' as this applies to PRA whole company. My federal rights have been violated. Second as 15 U.S. Code 1692g states this is my response within 30 days and my complaint as said further. 15 U.S. Code 1692C ( A ) states - " Without the prior consent of the consumer given directly to the debt collector or the express permission of a court of competent jurisdiction, a debt collector may not communicate with a consumer in connection with the collection of any debt. I have never given PRA consent to contact me over an alleged debt that was incorrectly owed. At no point in time is a good time to discuss an allegedly incorrect debt. PRA is implying that I have engaged in business with their company. I am requesting a visual signed contract with my signature proving that I have allowed for them to conduct business with me on this alleged account. PRA is in possession of my personal information with I have never given them consent to have. I want to know how they got that information on this alleged debt that is incorrectly owed. This is a violation of 15 U.S. Code 1692b. PRA needs to prove the existence of this alleged account and prove by verification, and " Verification '' is defined in Black Law Dictionary ( 4th ED. ) as " Confirmation of correctness, truth or authenticity by affidavit, oath or deposition ''. PRA shall provide a signed valid contract with these terms included, A Chain Of Assignment showing who has been in possession of this account, and a Sum Certain showing a complete accounting of how this alleged amount was arrived at, monthly statements, cardholder agreement signed, and a full original purchase agreement signed. I expect there will be no further efforts from PRA to collect on this allegedly incorrectly owed debt. If PRA fails to be able to provide this information I expect them to delete this account from their files, and no further efforts to collect on this allegedly incorrectly owed debt will be made. If PRA does not comply with what's demanded and asked for within this complaint I will receive legal counsel and PRA will be held accountable to 15 U.S. Code 1692k. Cease and desist.

Consumer Complaint: First there is no record of my original complaint, so this is the second one to report. I have disputed my old accounts with all three credit bureaus recently. XXXX and XXXX have cleared my accounts as they were XXXX years old in Texas. I can not get XXXX to do the same. I sent them the same information and documentation for the accounts that are aging. They will not delete the accounts as they say they were verified and updated. I have an old credit report stating the accounts are to be removed XX/XX/2023 and XX/XX/2023 but they come up with a date of XXXX or XX/XX/2023. I have just sent letters to XXXX XXXX XXXX and Portfolio Recovery Associates to validate the accounts.

Since the supposed resolution of the last complaint, I have continued to receive calls from this debt collection company that are harassing in nature- XXXX XXXX and then hanging up, but my caller ID has logged every single call. This company calls in this manner 3 or 4 times a day, the most recent call being today, XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX XXXX XXXX. The company previously said in the resolution to my last complaint that they would cease contact but they have not and have in fact increased their calls, and XXXX XXXX and hanging up is definitely legally harassment.
