Consumer Complaint: Date : XX/XX/2020 Amounts : The Balance on my account for the Each transaction I checked my balance of my account of PayPal and those the balance including many transaction, I checked the balance for the each transaction. However, the balance of the each transaction was not calculated correctly. I contacted the CS of PayPal and she checked my account but the amount she told and what I'm watching under my account was totally different. I took the some screen shot how the calculate was wrong and I explained to the CS what I see here right now is totally wrong. Unfortunately, she told she is watching different balance amount for the each transaction. I asked I'd like to see the record what she is watching and asked to send it via e-mail but she told she can't do that but I can see the same record if I download the all transaction. So, I dowloaded but it did notshow any balance for the each transaction, just show PAYMENT only. So, I don't know what she was watching and what she was hiding. Anyway, I believe that when I accessed to my account, I should be able to see the correct record ( Not the sloppy wrong calculated record ) under my account page. I know PayPal is neither bank nor Credit card company but they handle people 's money, so should be able to explain why the calcurate is wrong in my account without any hiding.

Consumer Complaint: Paypal has permanently limited my business account without reason and is holding my funds from a sale that I made of {$530.00}. Monday, XX/XX/2020 I made a sale on XXXX for an XXXX XXXX XXXX '' XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. Total sale price was {$700.00}. I refunded the buyer {$150.00} after the item was delivered because of issues with the warranty of the item. Customer was happy and positive feedback was left on both ends. Paypal placed my remaining funds on hold ( temporary limitation ) and asked me to submit proof of Identification, proof of original receipt of the item & proof that the order had been fulfilled ( tracking confirmation ). I submitted proof of everything yet Paypal still held my funds. I contacted them asking for the funds to be released since I submitted all required documentation and my customer is happy, yet they still kept the hold on the funds. XX/XX/XXXX, I contacted PayPal again because I was told to wait 3 days after the delivery confirmation and my funds would be released, yet they were still on hold. So I contacted them again via the message center but I was informed by the representative that my account had been permanently limited and she couldn't give me a reason. I had done nothing wrong. I didn't violate any terms of use nor did I violate PayPal 's Acceptable Use policy. I simply sold an item of high value. My customer was happy with his item, left positive feedback & was even happy that we agreed on a partial refund. Why is my {$530.00} still being held for 180 days and why was my account permanently limited? Account ID : XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: I was sent a paypal - mastercard debit card & i didnt ask for it - i admit i was on one of the survey websites trying to make an extra dollar & thru cookies or whatever thats how it got mailed but when i decided to activate the card it was weeks later before i decided to use it & i was " declined '' every store - i have been thru at least 6 ph # s & every girl sounds the same but has a different name the 2 men i talked to sounded the same. The card is active on paypal but not " registered '' on mastercard prepaid. Ive tried everyway to register & i get sent from 1 website back to the other, from 1 ph # back to the other. Ive had calls cut off with good connection, been bounced from 1 site to another & today i ask why the XXXX XXXX was deducted it got worse. Im hard up for $ right now thats why i only put XXXX XXXX on the card- to check them out- & XXXX if i didnt get XXXX out of XXXX XXXX before i even got to use the card 1 time. No matter if its paypal or mastercard/XXXX they say the card is active but its not & this is the gods honest truth

However Paypal violated policy by reopening closed claim on XX/XX/20 for fabricated reason of recurring payment, framing me for having done so, & refusing to inform me of this action. My bank dispute closed XX/XX/20, & Paypal is in possession of closure letter same day of closure emailed to chargeback@paypal.com. This demonstrates a willful violation on Paypal 's part to reopen ANY previously closed claim for ANY fabricated reason, in violation of their own policy to leave closed claim closed.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I encountered someone who needed help because he was traveling without his wallet. His relatives wanted to send him cash but he had no ID. He had his uncle and another friend send me Paypal payments and I turned them into cash for him. Once I confirmed that the payments were in my Paypal, I gave him the money. I checked the emails carefully to make sure they were real and verified the balance in my Paypal account. A week later, Paypal started sending me messages that the charges were being disputed. I logged in and reported that I had given the cash to the individual and what had happened. I would not have given the cash if I could not rely on Paypal 's emails " You've Got Money '' and triple checked that I had the cash with no associated fraudulent transaction. Once I investigated later, I see that this is a common scam that Paypal is susceptible to. However, I do not have the fraud prevention department and other controls that Paypal does. It was unavoidable on my part and for Paypal to go after me instead of investigating the fraud and going after the sender or the fraudster is unfair to me. If Paypal does not have sufficient controls to detect unauthorized use of a Paypal account, that's not my fault. I relied on their email " You've Got Money ''. I relayed all this in my timely response to Paypal 's request for more information. I also relayed this to the collection agent at Paypal ( XXXX XXXX ) but she just wanted me to pay the bill. No one seems to be interested in the perpetrator ( I have his name and phone number ) of the fraud or the sending Paypal accountholder 's role in this. What is to stop XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX from simply claiming they didn't mean to send me the money? They may not be victims but conspirators. I have no idea but it's not on me to investigate when Paypal said " You've Got Money. '' I have attached one of the " You've Got Money '' emails, the collection email and a list of the disputed transactions from XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX. I also want to state that despite what XXXX from Collections states, just because the credit card charged back Paypal ( I have no evidence of this ) does not mean that Paypal can charge me back. I did not accept credit cards. I accepted Paypal and relied on their good word. I am not part of the fraud and I should not be the victim.

Consumer Complaint: I have ordered an item on line with my paypal account ( credit card ), purchase under paypal protection, the seller never response to my email and my items never have been received. After one month trying to contact the seller my self and no results. I escalated the case to paypal on XX/XX/2020, was given tracking that case will be resolved on XX/XX/2020, I will be refunded. But on XX/XX/2020, checked paypal on line, the resolving date was pushed back to XX/XX/2020, called paypal customer services, spoke to 3 agents, the last agent was XXXX, no one were willing to solve the problem, spoke to the supervisor, XXXX, still unable to solve the problem. the date of case resolving just been keep pushing to the future dates. my refund has never been issued. Per paypal policy, this is under paypal protection, when customer filed a case and you give a day to resolve the case, you need to follow your promise. if you keep changing the case resolution day out to future, that mean you just play and game and never want to solve the problem. I have been a paypal customer for the last 10 years, never file any case, no dispute, this is the only one time, but was treat very unfairly. I need paypal to follow their promise and refund my payment now XXXX as promised on XX/XX/2020 )
