Issue: Loan servicing, payments, escrow account

Subissue:

Consumer Complaint: My mortgage servicing company is Ocwen Loan Servicing. I was advised that my escrow account need to be built up. I mailed check on XXXX/XXXX/15. Although check was received into system on XXXX/XXXX/15 ( confirmed by customer service ), it still has not posted to my account, and Ocwen has adjusted my payment to reflect I did not make this payment. I have emailed them XXXX emails with complaint, written XXXX letters with same complaint and spoken to customer service with same complaint. All with no success. I plan to send in my regular payment and Ocwen will show it is a short payment. The customer support I am getting is at a XXXX level. I would be better off talking to a wall.

Issue: Loan modification,collection,foreclosure

Subissue:

Consumer Complaint: While going through the OFAP process i experienced problems with both XXXX and my loan servicer, OCWEN. XXXX failed to act impartially, ensure that relevant documents were made available and explanations provided where needed or requested, refused to respond to emails from my housing counslor asking for assistance, failed to assure required documents were submitted, failed to conduct an even-handed and fair resolution conference, and failed to get in writing lenders HAMP offer. OCWEN placed lender flood insurance back in XX/XX/XXXX that i am still fighting to get reimbursed on and they still deny that they did it even though my transaction history that they provided through the portal during my OFAP application process shows that they did. I sent a certified letter to them disputing my debt and they mailed back a letter that basicly just said " no we did n't ''. I have proof of my coverage and their charges. During the OFAP process they refused to give me my NPV or my PSA. I never had a single point of contact. Neither i nor my housing counslor could ever get ahold of the same person XXXX. They keep acting like they are considering my modification and yet they move forward with foreclosure while telling me they are not. Charging unauthorized fees and not showing what they charges are for, plus math that i just can not figure out. They have found a way to abuse the program by claiming your application is incomplete. All they have to do is say so and either refuse to accept documents, say they were late, claim they did n't receive them, or just keep asking for the same document again and again no matter how many ways you send it or how many times. I have been trying to do this program since XX/XX/XXXX. They have lied, abused, decieved and ground me down to nothing. I have filled out their RMA XXXX times. I faxed the latest one this morning. Please help me with this.

Consumer Complaint: Caught up in the sub-prime mortgage and the housing market crash, my mortgage has been tossed around to finally land with Ocwen loan servicing for XXXX. Due to the loss of employment XXXX for my boy friend, who contributes to half of the mortgage payments, and my job loss a couple years after, we have fallen behind in our payments. Starting in XX/XX/XXXX, Ocwen started refusing partial payments from me and ( sort of ) started the modification process that has been going on since XX/XX/XXXX and continues today. To summarize, from a time line I have compiled on my mortgage situation, I offer the following information : Summery : XXXX Modification Packets sent to Ocwen between XX/XX/XXXX - XX/XX/XXXXXXXX phone appointment re-scheduled by Ocwen XX/XX/XXXX-XX/XX/XXXXXXXX ( possibly more ) requests for additional information on my second employer. XXXX Relationship Manager changes. When speaking to modification representative as well as the weekly auto-calls, the service representative does n't seem to know any information on current correspondences or that I am already working on modification. Over this time the late fees, photographing the property ( which is only an image of the corner of our garage from the road ), un-realistic property value comp and a random fee for modification request back in ( I believe ) XX/XX/XXXX, that was not stated on any of the forms has been added to my debt to Ocwen. The big hold op for Ocwen seems to be my second employer which is a 15 week teaching position. After sending Ocwen my teaching contract, copy of the last pay stub and a letter from myself explaining the payment schedule, Ocwen tells me it is not enough and has to review it. Now on my last phone conversation with Ocwen, they said the information I had sent in regards to the teaching position does not fall into the government guide lines. Ocwen has put off another modification phone appointment so they can review the information yet again. Mean while, my anxiety and anger increases, I can not make any repairs or improvements on the house and myself and my bot friend can not get on with our lives without fear. Every time Ocwen requests a bit of information it is not always what they really need. They seem to communicate with out clarity. So I may send what they asked but dates will be wrong and then I have to fix that information. And so it goes around and around. I have gone through a local agency, XXXX XXXX ( XXXX XXXX ) who were a big waste of time and not helpful. I also talked to a finance councilor, who after giving them all the information the Ocwen has, told me that we should be all set for a loan modification. A friend led me to your organization and I trust you can help. Thank You. XXXX XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: Don`t know what happened with my first complaint, now I am starting over. Perhaps you will retrieve it. As, I have stated this complaint is about a loan with the XXXX lender XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX transferred it to XXXX and finally to Ocwen. The home was purchased in XX/XX/XXXX by me and my daughter. Many years later we asked Ocwen to sent loan documents to examine. To our surprise we found that the co-borrower signature had be compromised and placed on documents unauthorized. A complaint was made with the Commissioner of Banks and a fraud package was sent to us by Ocwen. All documents were filled out and forwarded back to the commission. Ocwen continue to " state that they never received the paperwork. The commission contacted Ocwen and spoked to their contact and finally they got the documents after continuing on going complainting. Recently, this company did not report to the credit bureau our earnings sent since XX/XX/XXXX. Reporting just started a month or so ago and the second loan still is not being reported. Since they became my servicer I have been loyal and pay every month on time without late entry`s and this is how we continue to be treated. Ocwen promise to send a explanation in writing explaining what happen in why they failed to report to the credit bureau, but still have not received XXXX response. As a result, emails have been sent to upper management and just have been ignored. I am tired now at this point paying money for a home that was attained under false pretenses. I have the right to no what happen. I believe all the parties should be held accountable for their wrong doing. I do hope you can assist me into making the right decision.Thank you!!!

Consumer Complaint: My mortgage was purchased by Ocwen in XX/XX/XXXX during a Short sell. Ocwen was taking so long to agree to the terms the buyer changed her mind. We had other buyers but no agreement was ever made. It is now XX/XX/XXXX and since then my property has been vandalized and all of the plumbing was stolen. I have asked them to foreclose or allow us to give the home in Lieu of foreclosure. Ocwen had declined both. I just want closure I have tried to short sell the home but unable to.

Consumer Complaint: I made my mortgage payment to Ocwen Loan Servicing , LLC on XXXX XXXX, 2015 and it still has not been credited to my account. I have made numerous attempts to provide proof of the payment, but they will only accept a revolving bank statement as proof. My bank does not provide such a statement. I have sent them 3 months worth of bank statements so that they could trace my balances themselves if they think that I was somehow manipulating the data on the XXXX statement. I have also provided a copy of a screen shot of the payment that my bank provided to me when I went into the branch to get proof of the payment. They are extremely uncooperative and rude to me when I try to get this resolved. I have sent information to them on XXXX occasions and made XXXX phone calls and still it has been over 3 months and it is not resolved. This is affecting my credit and they keep charging me late fees and continue to make harrassing phone calls to my home. I just do not know what else I can do at this point. I have now had to contact an attorney for help in getting this cleared up.

Consumer Complaint: After ten years having this mortgage on my XXXX condo I have been unable to satisfy OCWEN that I have sufficient insurance through the condo association. No matter what contact person or insurance documents me or the condo association and their insurance agent provide they are never satisfied and have now purchased an additional flood insurance policy on my condo for the sum of {$830.00}. I believe this is ridiculous and an attempt by the mortgage company to create an additional income source.

Consumer Complaint: I am a single mother of XXXX children currently living in my home in Pennsylvania. Me and my husband divorced 2 years ago. When my home was refinanced in 2005, unbeknownst to me I was not put on the loan document, only on every other piece of paper. Now that I am divorced and living in the home, and paying the mortgage, did I find this out. Ocwen will not assist me in anyway in getting the home out of my ex-husbands name, and into my name. I pay the mortgage, taxes, and maintain the property. I am on the deed and my ex is willing to sign everything over to me but nobody will help. I can not refinance because the house is about 70k underwater due to the economy. I do not qualify for HARP because its not owned by XXXX or XXXX. What are regular people supposed to do in these instances? I pay my taxes and bills on time and now I 'm stuck. I do not want to be forced to do a short sale or deed-in-lieu and Ocwen has got to be the worst company to deal with hands down. I have been through XXXX and back with these people over the last 5 years. They have redone my mortgage only to " forget '' to add the taxes/insurance into the payment and then ask me after a year for the 6K and try to forclose on me..I tried modifications with them only to get 2 years of run around and missing paperwork, again almost putting me in foreclosure. I can not take them anymore..how they stay in business is criminal. I need help, and I have no where to turn. I would appreciate someone guiding me in some direction for help of any sort at this point. Please..I 'm begging..help the rest of us homeowners who are underwater, scared and about to lose everything because of the big banks shenanigans. We bailed them out ... who is helping us?
