Consumer Complaint: Our mortgage company is not paying our homeowners insurance from our escrow account. This is the second time this is happened. Last year when we discovered the problem, the mortgage company insisted that the error was corrected and this would not happen again. They paid our XXXX insurance & now this year our homeowners insurance contacted us to say they have not received payment again. I checked online with the mortgage company and they show that the borrower is responsible for the insurance which is the same error as last year. They tried to force us into taking their homeowners insurance because they were showing a lapse in coverage. Not sure what to do to correct this repeated problem.

Consumer Complaint: I am currently current on my mortgage payment and this company keeps returning my payments to me and not applying the payments to my mortgage. They have me owing for my mortgage from XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX and I have paid these payments and they keep returning my payments weeks and months later, making it appear as if I am behind on payments by months, all the while threating to illegally forclose on my home, with multiple certified letters and mailings! I have spoken to different agents in this company and all give reasons that make no sense whatsoever as to why my payments are being returned. This company has XXXX of complaints against them in regards to sketchy practices.. OCWEN Mortgage is the company. I have all my bank statements proving I have sent the mortgage payments. I will be seeking legal action against this company if they continue to send my mortgage payments back as I truly feel they are trying to illegally take my home. There is no plausible reason why I have paid my mortgage and my payments are being returned unless there is some underlying scheming going on! Sincerely

Consumer Complaint: I am filing this complaint on behalf of my client XXXX XXXX XXXX. On or around XXXX XXXX, 2013, I paid {$610000.00} to satisfy my client 's loan in a short sale. The funds were sent to Ocwen via a wire transfer on the same day. To date a mortgage satisfaction has not been recorded against the property and Ocwen continues to report the loan as being late. New York law requires that a satisfaction be submitted for recording within 30 days of the receipt of the payment. Upon discovering that this mortgage remained open, I contacted Ocwen. I spoke with a XXXX who advised that the satisfaction was sent to XXXX XXXX XXXX Florida for recording. Upon expressing my dismay upon learning that the document for a New York property was incorrectly sent to a Florida XXXX, I was transferred to XXXX ( id number XXXX ) who stated that he was an escalation manager. XXXX then proceeded to tell me that the document was indeed sent to the correct XXXX in New York for recording. Upon hearing this I requested a copy of the document and was told that it would take 24-48 business hours to send me a copy of the Satisfaction via email. This has not been the first time that Ocwen has failed to properly record and to properly report on a borrowers credit report. My client has been irreparable damaged as a result of their sloppy business practices.

Consumer Complaint: I have applied for a HAMP Loan Modification with Ocwen and I cant seem to get an acknowledgement or the opportunity to interact with an assigned negotiator without having to race against the clock with the threat of a foreclosure sale. This property was the subject of a divorce and I have been trying to remedy this matter. I was offered a trial modification XXXX 2015, but when I sent payments in-they were returned to me. I have been putting those monthly payments aside every month to see if I can get Ocwen to honor that modification. I hired a firm to work on my behalf and they have submitted all of my documents for a modification, but Ocwen has not responded or canceled the sale. I have to resolve this matter pursuant to divorce agreement and I do not want to file bankruptcy again. I really need help. I am going to email the ombudsman. I have called to speak to that department but have not been successful.

Consumer Complaint: On XXXX XXXX, I sent in a complaint against my servicer, Ocwen Loan Servicing , LLC ( Ocwen ). I received an email from you with a Case number : XXXX. I have been unable to log into my account and requested the password but have not received the last email, so I am filing a new one. Ocwen has still been giving my the run around. I have spoken to several people including XXXX XXXX | Consumer Account Analyst | Office of the Consumer Ombudsman. I have been promised information along with an updated escrow analyst, but have not received. I am worried they are going to place the forced place coverage back on my account at a much higher rate then the homeowner 's insurance that I had before Ocwen decided not to pay and it got cancel in no fault of my own. My mortgage payment has increase two times since I submitted my complaint ( which I have paid in order to keep my mortgage current ). This is causing a financial burden on me and it has still not been resolved. The only thing I am getting is empty promises and and letters from Ocwen stating they are reviewing my account. This has been going on since XXXX 2015. I am so frustrated that I do n't know what to do at this point. What are my opinions? How can I get this resolved once in for all? PLEASE HELP ME.

Consumer Complaint: We are currently under chapter XXXX bankruptcy and have our mortgage withOcwen. I received a phone call from Ocwen on a Sunday, XXXX, andwas told we owe them over {$9000.00}. I 've since been told by Ocwen that ourpayment went up from {$1200.00} to {$1500.00} XX/XX/XXXX and they have also told methat I was not notified of this increase, nor was our attorney or the chapterXXXX trustee. How can you indebt us for something that we were never notifiedof in the first place? I also received documentation stating my payment wasgoing to increase XX/XX/XXXX from {$1200.00} to {$1300.00}. I spoke withOcwen yesterday and was told my payment is supposed to be {$1500.00}. Also, we are under a loan modification which lowered our payments to somethingwe could afford, so why do they keep raising our payments?? In addition, when I go onto Ocwens website, it does n't show any increase XX/XX/XXXX and itshows the current amount due as {$1000.00} with a due date XX/XX/XXXX. How can I be liable for Ocwens mistake especially since their website is n't evencorrect??? Additionally, is n't it illegal to try and collect a debt from me while I'I 'm under chapter XXXX bankruptcy?

Consumer Complaint: I fell behind on my mortgage due to loosing my ex 's household income, I also was XXXX at the same time & lost my job. I have applied for a modification on serveral occasions with Ocwen, and they deny me every time stating that the " investor does n't allow a modification ''. My attorney found my mortgage papers and the investor XXXX XXXX XXXX trustee ) had a clause in the loan stating that the loan could not have a modification. I contacted the trustee, they said that the servicer can allow a modification, me servicer XXXX Ocwen XXXX still refuses to allow a modification. XXXX has turned me down because of the investors clause. My attorney has stated that a foreclosure judge can not order Ocwen to offer me a modification. that my only option is to file a BK XXXX if I want to save my home. I 've spoken with BK attorneys and even doing a bk XXXX, the monthly payments would be too high for me to afford. I am now working but had to take a lower pay because not a lot of companies will accommodate the time I need to take off for my XXXX needs

Consumer Complaint: I have a mortgage with OCWEN mortgage company whom I believe changed their names a number of times : Option One ... and other names. However, About 5 years ago I modified my mortgage with them and they claimed I would get a lower interest rate that would start at 2percent and gradually increase to 5 percent. They said nothing about a balloon payment of XXXX, ooo due at balance of loan. This was deception, greed and misleading.
