Consumer Complaint: I had a HELOC with GMAC that was paid in full in XXXX XXXX. It was bought to my attention dealing with a new lender that GMAC never submitted the documents to XXXX XXXX XXXX Maryland to release the lien. I contacted my old title company and was told to contact GMAC and found out they filed for bankruptcy and a company called Ocwen has assumed accountability. I contacted Ocwens Research department at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and was provided with a fax number XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I faxed over XXXX pages of supporting documentation ( e.g., issue letter to Ocwen, correspondence with XXXX, XXXX credit report information and deed of trust ) to Ocwen 's Research department on Tuesday XXXX XXXX, XXXX. I have followed up with Ocwen at least five times since faxing over the documents only to be told that they never received the fax ( and I have the fax confirmation ). Every time I call, I have to tell my story again because my loan is not in their system because it is old ( paid-in-full XXXX XXXX ) and I get a new agent each time stating to call back because the information has not been entered into their system from the " fax department '' and was also advised when they get the information that it can take up to 30 days to resolve. When I called again today, a new agent informed me that I needed to correspond with Ocwen 's Lien Release Department and provided me with their fax number, email and mailing address. I asked the agent for a telephone number so that I could follow up to make sure that my complaint was received and discuss with someone the urgency of this matter. The agent today informed me Ocwen 's Lien Release Department does not have direct telephone number for consumers to contact them. I submitted an email today with supporting documentation to the email address provided at XXXXXXXXXXXX but have no way to know they received the information. I am very frustrated and seeking immediate resolution to this issue. This is not my fault, as this loan is paid-in-full and GMAC did not follow through on their obligation to release the lien. This is causing problems for me dealing with my new lender that will not close my loan until they have written confirmation from the lender Ocwen on behalf of bankrupt GMAC the lien is being released. The information that I received today for Ocwen 's Lien Release Department is as follows : Address : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Iowa, XXXX Email : XXXXXXXXXXXX XXXX : ( XXXX ) XXXX On a separate note, I selected " signing the agreement '' as the mortgage process my issue is related to at there was not an option for closing lien release

Consumer Complaint: Due to health concerns I was not able to work my XXXX as strong as possible and due to reduced income I became delinquent on my Ocwen serviced mortgage. In XX/XX/2015 I continued to work with Ocwen providing them enough documents for a complete package. Recently, underwriting Ocwen declared that my loan modification request would be denied because of too many loans in a certain " investor pool '' having already received a loan modification and therefore they are closing out my case and giving me a denial. Upon conversations with mortgage professionals and visiting a HUD approved housing counselor, everyone said that this was the first time they had heard of this reason for not allowing a loan modification. I would like to have someone follow-up to see if indeed this reason is legitimate.

Consumer Complaint: I have a XXXX and a XXXX mortgage with Ocwen Loan Servicing. These mortgages are upside down. I have applied TWICE for a loan modification on interest-only loans with very high interest rates ( The second mortgage interest rate is 12.75 % ) I am unable to make the mortgage payments since I lost my job in XXXX 2015. I am now on a fixed income and attempting to get a loan modification through HAMP ( Tier 1 ) Meanwhile, Ocwen Loan Servicing has received millions of dollars from the U.S. Treasury to help lenders ( taxpayers ) with circumstances such as mine. Yet, Ocwen refuses to follow the HAMP guidelines and will not provide a reasonable explanation for not following the guidelines. There are several XXXX similar complaints with the XXXX against Ocwen, and Ocwen has settled a class-action lawsuit from the CFPB for their fraudulent lending practices yet they seem to continue with their fraudulent practices. I am desperately in need of a remedy from Ocwen 's predatory lending practices, and I know that I am not the only borrower who is having problems with this lender ( despite the class-action lawsuit ). Can you please help! Another class-action lawsuit should seriously be considered against this lender.

Consumer Complaint: For over a year Ocwen Servicing has stated my loan was delinquent, I have repeatedly informed Ocwen that I have a cancelled check for the full mortgage payment for every month on this loan. I have sent certified letters with copies of the cancelled checks and made multiple phone calls. Their response has been to send Pre-Foreclosure letters starting in XXXX 2016, which I responded to. I received the exact same Pre-Foreclosure letter in XXXX ( new date on letter was the only change ), which I responded to requesting a In Person meeting ( per page XXXX of their letter ), I then received the exact same letter in XXXX ( with a new date ), which I responded to again asking for a In Person meeting, additionally I had my attorney send them a letter also. And I have again received the exact same letter, which I have again responded to asking for a In Person meeting. I dispute that I am in any way shape or form delinquent in my payments, I can ( and have ) provided copies of cancelled checks. ALL correspondence has been sent via certified mail, and I have the signed return receipts, so I know they have received the information. Ocwen is beyond frustrating to deal with, I have spent hundreds of dollars trying to get them to respond to me in a way other than a computer generated form letter, all because some where along the line, THEY have made a error with my payments, and now I can not get them to correct the issue or even acknowledge my correspondence. I am afraid they will find a way to escalate the process and cause further monetary damage - I have resorted to sending my monthly mortgage payment via certified mail so I have evidence it was sent to them in a timely manner HELP!.

Consumer Complaint: I filed chapterXXXX bankruptcy XX/XX/XXXX and it has been discharged XXXX. However, I 'm having some trouble with one particular mortgage lender ( OCWEN LOAN SERVICING ) .. They are listed on my credit report with a balance. They should not be on my credit report as when I filed bankruptcy, I gave up my primary residence which they claim is where the balance of the mortgage is owed. The loan was the XXXX mortgage for that residence. I surrendered the residence so i do n't know why i still owe them. Also, I have never gotten written correspondence from them stating I owe them moning. Furthermore, have never sign an agreement with OCWEN Loan Servicing. I spoke with them today ( XX/XX/XXXX ) and they told me they purchased the loan in XX/XX/XXXX. My bankruptcy period was between XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. How can they now say I owe them on the phone today. They tried to settle with me today for {$1000.00} even though the balance they claimed has claimed to over {$60000.00}. What is my best course of action to get them removed from my credit report or at least show my account as being closed and no balance? Thanks in advance for our help.
