Consumer Complaint: Good Morning, CFPB : I am a Military Service Member XXXX. I am writing reference an account with Ocwen Financial based in XXXX XXXX XXXX, Florida. This is a mortgage account with the underlying asset at XXXX XXXX XXXX ; XXXX, Maryland XXXX. I applied for a loan modification for this account. Ocwen took several months to process the modification. During the modification approval process, Ocwen reported adverse information on my credit file with the credit reporting agencies. I was informed by XXXX XXXX, a supervisor with Ocwen that my credit would be restored after the loan modification was executed. This did not occur. My relationship manager with Ocwen Financial is XXXX XXXX XXXX. I was advised by XXXX XXXX that I did not need to make a payment on the account until XXXX XXXX after the modification agreement was executed. However, on XXXX XXXX, when I contacted Ocwen to discuss the account, I was told that I had to pay a {$2000.00} past due amount for XXXX, XXXX & XXXX payments because no payment was made until XXXX XXXX. Ocwen 's failure to process the loan modification in a timely manner and their misapplication of funds to my account in the loan modification process has adversely impacted my credit and caused a financial hardship for me.

Consumer Complaint: Ocwen Loan Servicing took over my XXXX XXXX. received my automatic payment from my bank, Regions for 2-yrs or so. then said I was 2-yrs in behind on my mortg. That was the begining of the nightmare. They reported false reports to the credit bureau. XXXX XXXX XXXX investigated my case to clear up my credit for refinancing my loan. XXXX XXXX XXXX caught them in a lie and they hay to contact the credit bureau to remove the false information. The loan balance was a little over XXXX. They jacked it up to over XXXX to prevent me from receiving the VA loan. To get the VA loan I had to pay the jacked up amount or miss out on the refinancing for Veterans. XXXX XXXX XXXX personnel are able to verify the hardship and ripoff tactics that my family had to endure.

The mortgage company OCWEN will not talk to me, as they have pass the debt to a collection agency XXXX XXXX, XXXX. The collection agency will not ask the mortgage company for the name of the company I need to call to get the key. I ca n't get the process to move forward with out the appraisal, yet they both want payment.

Consumer Complaint: In XXXX of XXXX myself and my husband filed a chap XXXX bankruptcy. We did not re-affirm the property. We continued to talk and work with Homeward Residential Financial in an effort to keep our home at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX Ga XXXX. The home was in re-modification. In the beginning of XXXX our note was sold to Ocwen Loan Servicing ( Ocwen ) and they refused to work with the re-modification contract in place and found multiple reasons to decline a new re-modification contract. The account was closed in XXXX of XXXX and the property was put up for auction. We moved from the premises and Ocwen took possession in XXXX of XXXX. The property did not sell at auction. Ocwen proceeded to put the home up for auction every 3-6 months consequently sending us certified letters and running an announcement in the local paper. They have also put the home up for sale stating that they have possession through securing a " deed in lei of For-closure ''. The fact is they have never filed ( stamped ) the deed for for-closure. They instead filed a pass-through deed. We have contacted them multiple times as has my attorney. They have kept us from purchasing a new home as our 3 year seasoning period will not start until the deed is stamped. We feel very victimized by the neglectful handling of our paperwork. We have been forced to spend XXXX dollars on rent instead of investing into a new property and beginning to rebuild our lives. We have also been ignored, patronized and lied to in the process by Ocwen and its representatives. We are looking for the deed to be stamped and dated correctly as of XXXX XXXX and retribution be paid of {$30000.00} for rent that has been paid. This money would have went to the property in question if they had honored any re-modification or to new property so that my family can regain a sense of stability.

Consumer Complaint: They return my payments and want me to pay five months certified now with additional fees.I was two months behind and mailed them XXXX payments and now they want XXXX certified with a bunch of fees why.Why do I have to make my payments certified at an additional cost.I previous made a 9 moth payment and they said they would not accept it I wireed the money XXXX and they said they would return the check but they waited a week and deposited I called they stiff have not payed ny check return fee or have send it back or a letter that they would not redeposited which they saifd they where sending, they lare liars repeatedly.

Consumer Complaint: Ocwen Loan Servicing , LLC ( www.ocwen.com ) changed payments in XXXX 2016 without providing detail supporting the change. I continued to make the original payment. Now that detail has been provided, I called XXXX to make the payment to account # XXXX but the telephone message said that the account number is invalid. There is a payment address of Ocwen Loan Servicing , LLC XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX, XXXX XXXX. This address differs from the previous address for all payments of {$160.00} have been sent for more than 3 years. The previous address that my bank has been sending payments is XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX. All regular payments were to be sent there. Which address is correct? Why does n't the account number work? We want to pay but not if they will not recognize the account number.

Consumer Complaint: I have an FHA loan and it was sold without my ok to Ocwen- the worse company I ever encountered. I feel 2 months behind due to fianacial difficulties. They claim they will help you and work with you, they do not. I tried for a loan modification 3 times, and every time they come up with a way that it can not be processed- 'We need more information ' 'We need this to be filled out ' 'We need new paystubs as this is time sensitive information and the paystubs are out dated now ' 'we need a new year to date ' 'we need a letter from your employer ' on and on their excuses went so 3 times I applied and 3 times it never went through. I asked them to extend the loan 'we can not do that ' I ask for a forbearance -which in their letter is 'temporary reduction or suspension of payments, or the ability to make regular monthly payments without contributing toward past due amounts ' We asked for a repayment plan- they wanted {$470.00} in a week - I said where I am supposed to get that amount in a week- they then said if you can not pay it in a week then you can not do the repayment plan. They also keep sending letters and charging us for them- if they are sending them they should be paying them not me- They are charging me {$140.00} for all these letters they keep sending. They are charging me {$510.00} in late fees- Why ca n't late fees be dropped the letter fees be dropped and give us a payment plan with so much extra per month for the 2 months I an behind. They are threatening me to foreclose on me. I make my regular monthly payments I just fell 2 months behind and with other bills- car, car insurance, health insurance, lights, garbage, sewer, water, credit cards, food, oil, gas etc that I can not get the XXXX payments caught up. Why ca n't they extend the loan 2 months- it is a 30 year loan and instead of maturing in XXXX of the XXXX year extend it to XXXX? They can easily do that and then that would make us caught up with out payments and note be late Please I need help. They also have raised the minimum payment numerous times- I started paying XXXX per month they have it up to XXXX per month. I know interest rates have gone down- I have a fixed FHA at XXXX. Why ca n't they refinace the FHA and bring the rate down

Consumer Complaint: Ocwen failed to notify me of the details surrounding my change in payment. I happened to look at my statement in " Important notes '' and it was in the middle of the paragraph, very non descript, no bold type, etc. and certainly not the first note as it should have been due to the importance of a payment change. THe notes read as follows : " Unapplied Funds : Any partial payments that you make are not applied to your mortgage, but instead are held in a separate unapplied funds account. If you pay the balance of a partial payment, the funds will then be applied to your mortgage. Please note that your monthly payment amount has changed to {$3400.00} effective XXXX/XXXX/2016. Further detail regarding the reason for this change will be included in a separate letter. Please note that your monthly payment amount has changed to {$3400.00} effective XXXX/XXXX/2016. Consumer Complaint: I have been in the process of a loan modification with Ocwen Loan Servicing for about 2 years. I keep submitting application packets with all the documents requested by mail, e-mail, and fax all this time. I send one packet and Ocwen states it already expired and need to do a new one again and that some documents have been missing. I asked myself if all the documents requested were mailed and e-mailed in the packet, how is that possible that you can find some documents and not others. Lately I have been calling like every other day to make sure they receive documents requested and they never receive it or they tell me you need XXXX documents so that we can close the modification and when I called back in 1-2 days they tell me that it was not those XXXX documents, that I need XXXX different new ones. We have a Dual Tracking Issue here. They keep extending the time, every time more and more so that they can have enough time and foreclose in my house. I already had a sale date back on XX/XX/XXXX which they cancel few days before. Now they have a sale date on XXXX/XXXX/16. Of course this is what they want, for me to loose the house because it is their best interest not mine. They have not helped me at all to get a modification. My intentions is to keep my house, which I purchase 16 years ago. Sometimes unexpected things happen in life, such as divorce, illness, caring of an ill person, death of a loved one, unemployment, like happened to me in the past 5 years and now a bank that is lying saying that I am not submitting the documents requested because they want to stay with my house to sell and benefit from it. They continue to give me a hard time and do not want to work with me on saving my house. Thanks anticipated for all the help you can give me.

Consumer Complaint: Ocwen is a Servicer on this loan. Loan # XXXX. Borrower XXXX XXXX. Address XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, CA XXXX. We are in the process of negotiating a short sale on the property, Ocwen presented a counter offer, I have submitted documents from the buyer accepting their counter offer at Fair Market Value. On Friday assign negotiator told me that postponement of trustee sale scheduled for XXXX/XXXX/16 has been approved and we are just waiting to find out when is TS is rescheduled for. Today Ocwen notified me that postponement has been denied. This is a double trucking and violation of CA XXXX of rights. Please help to stop TS so we can complete Short Sale. My phone number is XXXX.
