Consumer Complaint: When I originally received a loan modification about 5 years ago they told me it was a 30 year fixed step loan that would eventually cap off at 5 %. They are now telling me it is an interest only loan and that it will amoratize in 2019 and the payment will increase by about {$500.00}. The documentation attached clearly states that the loan type is a fixed rate and it also states that the payment amount is principal AND interest, not interest only. My modification was not thru HAMP but was one of GMAC 's in house modification products. The loan has since been acquired by Ocwen and I have tried to modify several times, as I want a fixed rate loan that is not going to amoratize. Ocwen has turned me down because I either make too much ( not taking into consideration my amount of debt ) or that I make too little due to my debt to income.

Consumer Complaint: A false accusation against XXXX has been made by OCWEN in response to Case number : XXXX XXXX XXXX, Ombudsman at OCWEN verbally told me over the phone that the problem I reported in Case number : XXXX was caused by XXXX. I am filing a separate complaint because this is a separate, serious allegation. I called XXXX XXXX, Executive Disputes Dept of XXXX at XXXX and point blank asked her if XXXX did the things OCWEN claimed they did. XXXX XXXX said that the incorrect information that appeared on my credit reports generated from OCWEN, not XXXX. She stated that XXXX did not cause all the other credit bureaus to report the false information which harmed by credit score. XXXX XXXX said that the only time XXXX reports to other credit bureaus is in matters of reporting FRAUD. OCWEN has repeatedly ruined my credit score in 2016 and has never taken responsibility, thus I believe they will continue to damage me financially since they are still not taking responsibility for this latest incident. I have received a letter from OCWEN that insinuates I am stupid for reporting this matter to the CFPB again. OCWEN maintains they have already responded to the CFPB about this issue. The fact that they are still committing the offense does not seem to trouble OCWEN. It is like someone received a traffic ticket for running a red light and is upset and calling the police officer XXXX for giving them a XXXX, XXXX and XXXX ticket for running the red light again and again. .It 's as if to say : " Officer, you already gave me a ticket '', as if XXXX ticket gives them the right to continue to commit the offense with impunity. Ocwen seems to be telling me that they have immunity and can repeat the offense as many times as they want now since the subject has already been addressed. OCWEN has also told me on many occasions that my loan will be pulled from all the credit bureaus any time I report them to the Attorney General and the CFPB for removing my loans from the credit bureaus. This is cyclic thinking and it is not logical. XXXX XXXX at XXXX XXXX XXXX can also verify that TransUntion did not alter my credit report because of a transmission from XXXX. Ocwen is trying to convince me that XXXX caused the financial harm my family is suffering now and all of 2016 since Ocwen began attacking my home loan which was in excellent standing. OCWEN also told the CFPB and the Attorney General that I had failed to get the Keep Your Home California recast document notarized and neglected to mention that after OCWEN took the KYHC {$76000.00} money and posted it to the loan in XX/XX/XXXX, they did n't send me the document that needed to be notarized because they REMOVED MY NAME FROM THE LOAN. Many months late, they sent me the form after putting my name back on the loan but neglected to include an address and a return envelope. OCWEN has exhibited a pattern of blaming others for damaging events that they caused.

Consumer Complaint: my complaint is against ocwen mortgage. I refinanced my loan XX/XX/XXXX. at the time I did not have my taxes and insurance escrowed. I sent the required documentation to get my taxes and insurance escrowed. this year I receive a late notice from the tax assessor. I call ocwen to find out whats going on since my statements clearly show that money is escrowed for taxes and insurance on my statements. first call states I do not have an escrow account, second call ocwen states I only have insurance taken out. I call my insurance company and sure enough they have not been paid. third call to ocwen I am told the money escrowed was for an advance on the insurance from the previous year. I never asked them to advance anything just collect taxes insurance for an escrow account. they claim they sent me a letter stating my escrow account was originally denied. I never received this letter nor did I ever ask for any type of advance on the previous years insurance. I was under the assumption that my taxes and insurance were being escrowed once the escrow started. in addition when I asked to speak to a supervisor I was told XXXX the supervisor would call me back. when I asked for his extention I was told I cant have it. it takes at least a day or two for ocwen to call me back each time I leave a message. I constantly keep getting different answers from them regarding the escrow account. I am not even allowed to speak directly to the escrow department. I am now in a position of have to pay {$1100.00} in taxes ( plus late fee ) and another {$1400.00} in insurance that all along I thought was being escrowed. I also asked ocwen to pay the taxes and insurance and set up the escrow properly. I received an email from them stating they could not because the taxes and insurance were past due. naturally they are past due because I was under the assumption ocwen was paying them. I would appreciate any help in this matter

Consumer Complaint: Ocwen Loan Service Approved a loan Mod for us in XXXX XXXX after a ton of hassle and complaints and denials. I mailed in the contract and 3 trial payments and 1 additional payment in XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX I rcvd a letter saying they never got the final contract. I then faxed it. Ocwen then said the signatures did n't match. So resigned and faxed it again. I edited the contract. The amount owed in the contract showed {$20000.00} that was to be deferred principal balance and would n't have to be paid right now, but a non interest balloon payment. However when I recvd the late notice and the statement, they showed different amounts. The late notice showed {$18000.00} and the statement showed {$18000.00} as of XXXX XXXX. So why would I repay {$20000.00}? In addition the balloon payment was n't for {$20000.00} it was for $ over {$70000.00}. If the {$20000.00} was non interest then why is the balloon almost 4 times the original amount? I line marked the changes in the contract and they would n't except the contract with the changes. I resigned the contract with the wrong repayment amount and the crazy high balloon payment, but they then wanted 4 additional mortgage payments per a letter, I recvd in XXXX XXXX with in 22 days of that letter we sent FIVE payments to them. About 3-4 weeks later we recvd another letter saying we were be denied for none payment. Apparently they had emailed us a letter telling us they needed another payment. In all the correspondence, in 2 years they had NEVER emailed anything without request, but they did this one letter that meant we would be denied our modification. Since then they had unrealistic requests like 9 payments, etc. I also rcvd monthly letters from Ocwen offering me assistance with modification, but when would try and log on it would say you ca n't apply right now or it would show a pending modification, but I rcvd denial letters. In XXXX XXXX I rcvd a letter thanking me for application for assistance which I still had not been able to sent after several attempts, but they charged my account for a XXXX property inspection FEES in like 2 months and sent me a property evaluation and {$100.00} evaluation fee.

Consumer Complaint: I requested a Loan Modification at the end of XXXX 2016 beginning of XXXX 2016. They keep requesting the same documents over and over again. Extra check stubs and the same tax release form. Which I already completed and returned XXXX times. Per their website they still have n't gotten the documents. I know they have. I emailed and faxed and rcvd a confirmation page on the fax all XXXX times. They are stalling for time because the foreclosure hearing is next week. This is very frustrating for me. It should be a simple approval because all the documents and info is almost the same as it was a few years ago, so since we were approved a few years ago, we should be approved again. In addition, the tax document they keep saying is incomplete, it is completed just the same as the XXXX from 2 years ago ( I compared them ) and they accepted that one/

Consumer Complaint: I advised Ocwen that I received a loan modification approval with my XXXX lien holder. I called them for three days straight and they said I had to come up with the total due to reinstate loan, I expressed that I wished to modify as my first did and they said that it was too late that they had to have a package in 7 days prior to sale date. I found out that was untrue and that XXXX and XXXX are exempt from that rule. Had I been told the truth, I would have done everything I could to get a packet to them. The kept putting me on hold, saying they would try to escalate file and yet they did not and lied to me. I want the oppurtunity to stay in my home and continue with my modification trial months with my first and work out a modification with my XXXX yet the sold my property.

Consumer Complaint: Ocwen Purchased my mortgage in XXXX XXXX from IndyMac per notice mailed to me in XXXX XXXX upon purchase I was behind a total of {$18000.00}. If you check the attached files that I screen shot from IndyMac/Ocwen you will see that I was Ch XXXX and IndyMac rcvd regular payments on a regular schedule from XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX Payments of XXXX ) of an agreed payment arrangement on a past due balance of {$18000.00} in the amount of {$590.00} in addition to the regular scheduled monthly payments and escrow. In XXXX when the agreement was made they was a SURPLUS amount of {$540.00} escrow and no late fees or interest was allowed to be charged per the agreement. In XXXX XXXX I lost my job and was dismissed from Ch XXXX and could no longer make the {$1600.00} a month payments. I begin to work on a modification with IndyMac and a few months later they sold the loan to Ocwen. IF you subtract XXXX x XXXX {$14000.00} from the total arrears, that only leaves {$3800.00}. If you add payments for XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) {$2900.00}. Totaling {$6800.00} That is far cry from {$18000.00}. When I sent the dispute information to Ocwen it was ignored. I have spent the last 3 year fighting for my home and requesting modifications and adjustments to just be shut down and have had game after paperwork game thrown my way. Enough is enough. I just want a credit for the {$11000.00} to the account and modification the additional arrears.
