Consumer Complaint: I have a mortgage with Ocwen. My monthly payment is {$220.00}. On the XXXX of each month I pay {$310.00} which leaves XXXX towards principal. On the XXXX of each month, I pay and additional {$400.00} towards principal. All total I shoulld have a total of {$550.00} credited towards my Principal. Since XX/XX/2013, when Ocwen obtained the servicing, I have paid over 39 months an additional XXXX towards my principal. My principal balance should be {$14000.00}, and not the {$18000.00} Ocwen is showing. Ocwen has disallowed me to log in to my online account. I registered my mortgage with ocwen in XX/XX/2013 and was able to log on and view all payments and history and view my loan documents. Because I filed my complaint, Ocwen have denied my access to the account. I called several times and was told that there was nothing they could do, and that I need to request any documents I need to look at in writing. I was also told that I can request statements. Why am I being treated different than any other account holder? Why am I being denied to view my payment history. Why is Ocwen hiding my payment history? Why is my bank account showing that I have paid more money than Ocwen has credited to my account.

Consumer Complaint: I have been dealing with Ocwen for year and a half to get them to fulfill their obligation to provide me with the pay off loan documents after I paid off my mortgage in XX/XX/2015. During all this time, they have been claiming that they did n't need to file a XXXX. Finally they did ; however, they have failed to provide me with the original pay off documents as follows : * Pay off letter dully executed in Ocwen 's letter head * Original lien release ( XXXX ) they filed with the county * Executed Proprietary lease ( they need to tell XXXX XXXX that the loan has been paid off and therefore, they only need XXXX proprietary lease not XXXX. Should Ocwen insist on getting XXXX, Ocwen needs to fully explain why they need XXXX copies. No other proprietary lease will be provided without me receiving the original signed copy I forward to XXXX XXXX ) * Original Stock certificate * Original security agreement ( XXXX XXXX obtained an assignment without me knowing about it. My mortgage has been fully satisfied, they need to release such note ) * Original letter of satisfaction. I want to understand why is OCWEN purposely delaying the issuance of such documents and why is n't this institution placed on warning by the CFPB. Ocwen will be made responsible of all the financial costs their incompetency and unprofessionalism is costing me.

Consumer Complaint: Ocwen Loan servicing is reporting totally different info to all XXXX credit reporting agencies. They are trying to say we missed 2 payments to XXXX but are on time, saying we missed 12 payments to XXXX but on time. My wife and I sent our mortgage payments to them with XXXX separate checks. Usually {$600.00} out of my account and the remainder out of my wifes account. What they did with the money from my wifes account we have no idea, but they are trying to say we were only sending partial payments. We have all of the proof. Since doing a loan modification loan with them back in XX/XX/2016, they REALLY have it XXXX. They were holding our payments in a suspense account for months, saying we were late, then applying a lump sum to the mortgage. We then received another loan mod kit wanting us to apply for another, saying they messed up on the first one and forgot to add some money in there somewhere and made us sign a new one which raised our mortgage payment from {$580.00} back to {$780.00} which is more than it was before we even did the 1st modification loan! They have been sued for XXXX dollars for the exact same thing. They are causing XXXX on myself and my wife because they have our credit scores so XXXX. They fixed it at one point with XXXX and my score went up to a XXXX. Within a week XXXX was showing the 12 payments missed and my score went back down to the low XXXX. They are very confused and most of this is coming from the loan modifications. I know its the law they have to provide the exact same info to all credit reporting agencies as I have spoke to the attorney generals office as well.

Consumer Complaint: Ocwen Loan Servicing is the second worst company in the world, second only to Litton Loan which there are undoubtedly the sister company. At any rate, they are denying a payoff statement of my loan after their bylaws clearly state they have 48 hours to comply and all of the paperwork was submitted for processing on XX/XX/XXXX and after several calls to their representatives today -- they repeatedly apologize and say they require 6 more business days. This is NOT PROFESSIONAL behavior and is UNACCEPTABLE!!! Please monitor and properly handle stopping this behavior from this company.

Consumer Complaint: My Husband purchased a home in XXXX of XXXX and used XXXX XXXX Home Mortgage as his lender. They have since gone out of business. At the time he got his loan, he disclosed his salary of {$63000.00} per year and the fact he was paying {$670.00} per month in child support. The mortgage broker talked my Husband into taking something called a XXXX payment option loan. The only option my Husband could afford was the less than interest option, which caused his loan to go severely upside down. We were not married at the time. I have been a XXXX, since XXXX and since we were married in XXXX of XXXX, I have tried to get this very unethical and in my opinion, possibly illegal loan modified to terms that would make sure my Husband would not continue to go upside down on this property. Finally, I was able to get the loan modified into a fixed rate loan, which started at 2 % for 6 years with a CAP of 4+ %. They would not reduce the principal balance on the loan back to what he originally had borrowed, so the modification was not ideal but at least it was something he could afford, by renting out the property. We prayed that the real estate market would eventually go back up and he could end up okay on the loan. Prior to my getting this modification, we spent a lot of our money doing repairs and improvements on the home and saving the home from foreclosure. My Brother passed away and I even had to use an inheritance he had left me to help my Husband out. My Husband has always been an upstanding man and this situation was practically giving him a XXXX, so of course because I love him so much, I stepped in to help. The way things have turned out, we have lost my entire inheritance and all the money we would have potentially had for our retirement. In other words, this mortgage has ruined our lives. What happened that finally pushed us over the top was the tenants we had in the home called the City where the home is located at ( XXXX, VA ) XXXX because they saw standing water in the yard and smelled a bad odor. XXXX had XXXX inches of rain in a short period of time, so the septic tank needed to be pumped, as it could not handle all the water. Had they called us, we could have had it pumped but once the City XXXX XXXX got involved, they insisted the house needed a " brand new '' septic system. In addition to that the dishwasher had a leak that the tenants said they were not aware of and it caused an additional {$13000.00} in repairs. Between the XXXX things, we were looking at necessary repairs of {$33000.00}. When we called Ocwen Loan Servicing, who handles the loan for the XXXX Bank who ended up buying my Husbands loan when First XXXX went out of business, we were told that they were not offering principal reduction and they did not help homeowners with repairs. Obviously, we could not do a home equity loan to do the repairs because it was upside down. I do n't have enough room to explain everything that 's happened but they told us we needed to apply for a deed in lieu of foreclosure because it was our only option. They told us we would get {$10000.00} in " fresh start '' money from the Government. They told us the process would take XXXX90 days and that they would forgive any deficiency & that it would only effect my Husbands credit for a few months and we 'd be able to move on with our lives. We are now at close to two years, have had at least XXXX different relationship managers & were just informed a few weeks ago that they were denying out deed in lieu of foreclosure and that as of XXXX XXXX the Government was no longer offering " fresh start '' money. It has been the most stressful experience of our lives. It 's even effected our health. I 've complained to both the Better Business Bureau and the Consumer Protection on XXXX occasions to no avail. Please help us.

Consumer Complaint: My wife and I worked on a refinance out of an OCWEN loan in to a new loan from loan Depot since XX/XX/2016. As the process neared completion XX/XX/XXXX, OCWEN has now refused to endorse the loan to a new lender and will not provide allonges in order to complete the process. Quoted response from Ocwen here : " I 've been advised by our legal counsel, that it is legally valid to prove ownership, and I have been instructed not to provide any allonges in case such as this one. I understand the lenders concerns, as I have heard this from a number of other lenders, however this is our position, and it is not negotiable. '' We are now told that the approved loan that has been delayed for months is set to expire in days with no rationale from OCWEN on why this is an issue at all as it endorsement it or allonge is standard procedure. I have asked numerous times for an update but have heard nothing from OCWEN.
