Consumer Complaint: My wife and I have a mortgage on our property and the loan is serviced by Ocwen. We received a notice from Ocwen stating that by law they are required to cancel PMI payments when the amount we owe reaches 79 % of the value of the home. We started paying off our loan on XX/XX/XXXX. We put down an additional {$10000.00} on XX/XX/XXXX and the amount we owed on our home was {$130000.00}, original value of our home was {$170000.00}. We owed 77 % of the original value of our home on XX/XX/XXXX. Since then Ocwen has been charging us PMI payments of {$29.00} every month. Ocwen refuses not to remove PMI from our loan and refuses to return the 19 months of payments we have made which total {$550.00}. We need help getting our money back and also getting Ocwen not to charge us PMI when we don't owe it anymore.

Consumer Complaint: From beginning of XX/XX/XXXXup until XX/XX/XXXX, I have been trying to work with my lender to try to get something done about the property. I informed them back in the early party of XX/XX/XXXX that i had been laid off of my job and i needed to do a loan modification to try and offset what i new would happen inevitably. I tried to do the modification, but eventually my unemployment ran out, so i began to look for a buyer, when i could not find a buyer on my own, i recently went to a Realtor. I was under the impression that i had to pay a realtor to actually list the property. I do not deny that a lot of this situation is procrastination on my part, but i need this short sale to make the matter right. The property is listed at {$130000.00} and we have had a lot of activity with phone calls and showings. I currently have an offer that i would like for the lender to review.

The original mortgage company was XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and Ocwen must have bought them out. As an FYI - we also had a mortgage with them in XXXX which was paid in full and we have since sold that house and moved to XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: Date for last statement is XX/XX/18 and my statement includes principal {$25.00}, interest {$66.00}, escrow {$56.00} which equals only {$140.00} but then ocwen loan serving, LLC adds an additional {$13.00} charge for optional products, which brings my total payment to {$160.00}. I never signed up for this optional product and want it removed immediately. My monthly bill should be only {$140.00}. I wrote ocwen loan serving LLC a letter, saying I never signed up for this optional product ( XXXX XXXX ) and want it removed from my account ASAP.

Consumer Complaint: Today, XX/XX/XXXX, I called Ocwen Mortgage where we have a HELOC to understand why they reported we missed a payment. We have automatic withdrawal set up with Ocwen so tno payment would be late or missed. The automated service stated my last payment was received on XX/XX/XXXX and the next payment was due on " XX/XX/XXXX '' which did not make sense if the payment was taken. According to Ocwen all payments are automatically withdrawn on the XXXX of each month. This was also noted as the withdrawal date in our account. I spoke with the representative, # XXXX, who stated that my XX/XX/XXXX payment of {$380.00}, was not taken due to insufficient funds. Then told me I was behind on my XX/XX/XXXX payment which I didn't understand because the automated service noted they withdrew an automated payment on XX/XX/XXXX. While speaking with the representative I pulled up my bank account which clearly showed there was no activity on my account on XX/XX/XXXX and my balance was over {$850.00} on XX/XX/XXXX and over {$3000.00} on XX/XX/XXXX. Ocwen never attempted the payment on XX/XX/XXXX as agreed then stated it was my banks fault. I called the bank who stated Ocwen never made an attempt according to their records and on XX/XX/XXXX I had over {$850.00} in my account which was more than enough to cover the {$380.00}. Today is XX/XX/XXXX and my payment should come out today, as of this moment they still have not taken that money out of my account. They note in my account record the " payment due date '' and " payment received date '' as the XXXX of each month. This is not true. When looking into the issue of the XX/XX/XXXX payment, their record shows in my account it was received on XX/XX/XXXX and they did a " payment reversal '' for the {$380.00} on XX/XX/XXXX. This makes no sense. My credit score went down 100 points! Please help. I can send the account information, bank statement, etc.

Consumer Complaint: * THIS IS NOT A DUPLICATE COMPLAINT * My initial complaint was closed on XX/XX/XXXXwithout Ocwen Loan Servicing taking all the needed action to have their credit item expunged from my credit file. Initial Complaint Details Complaint number : XXXX Date submitted to CFPB : XX/XX/XXXX Ocwen Loan Servicing did not address in their correspondence letter datedXX/XX/XXXX that they were going to update the first Delinquency Date to XX/XX/XXXX ( they are reporting XX/XX/XXXX ) with the credit bureaus : XXXX, XXXX, XXXX and XXXX. This credit item needs to be purged due to age of first delinquency. Ocwen only handled half of my first complaint, which was to report that I was 180 days past due on XX/XX/XXXX. Further, Ocwen has already admitted, in writing which I attached, that they first acquired servicing rights on XX/XX/XXXX from XXXX XXXX XXXX with a loan due for XX/XX/XXXX. This is an undisputed fact that they already substantiated. Ocwen Loan Servicing, LLC also incorrectly reported they transferred my account to XXXX XXXX XXXX onXX/XX/XXXX. My account was transferred on XX/XX/XXXX. You may reach out to either XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) XXXX in the Ocwen Office of Ombudsman or XXXX XXXX in the Ocwen Office of Ombudsman ( XXXX ) XXXX

Consumer Complaint: I contacted Ocwen in the summer ( XXXX ) to get my PMI ( Private Mortgage Insurance ) removed from my mortgage as the houses in my area have gone up in price. I was advised that unless I have added a bathroom or a bedroom I had to order a full appraisal so they could use that to gauge the value. I specifically asked if I had to contact someone to order an appraisal or if they had to use a specific vendor or company. I was advised that I can set everything up and to send in the paperwork after it has been completed. I ordered an appraisal and the value of what I owe and what my house appraised at in XXXX was under 74 %. My submission was rejected due to " Broker Opinion Value '' I contacted Ocwen and they told me that I couldn't use whoever I wanted to use and they had to initiate it. Ironically the person I used was also the same person that initially appraised my house when I first purchased the house since he told me when I met him. I told the manager I was told that I could use any company as long as it's a full appraisal and I paid {$500.00} to get this done. I was advised that there was nothing they can do, even though I made a case that there must be a recording somewhere as everything is on a recorded line. I would like to receive help removing PMI from my Mortgage as my house is worth more than the contract terms, and at this point Ocwen is charging me about {$95.00} a month for pure profit. I feel like i'm being scammed and also out {$500.00} please help.
