Consumer Complaint: I am a victim of identity theft. My information was compromised when my wallet was stolen containing all of my personal information. I have contacted LexisNexis asking for them to block the fraudulent bankruptcy from reporting that I never filed. However, after multiple attempts at getting my information to them ( Mailed - XXXX XXXX, Faxed - XXXX - XXXX ) they have yet to process my documentation. According to FCRA 605B, any CRA only has 4 days to process the paperwork and verify it, before having to block it from reporting. If this is up-healed, the bankruptcy should have already been blocked since XXXX, yet it continues to report. I believe this is in violation to the FCRA laws.

However, I have informed LexisNexis many times of the issue, and have been ignored multiple times. I have mailed my documents in on XX/XX/19 ; XX/XX/19 ; and faxed them in on XX/XX/19 to no avial. Consumer Complaint: Hello, I have requested 4 times that Lexis Nexis Consumer Center provide me with proof of my signature bearing in reference to a Chapter XXXX bankruptcy that is showing on my credit report. I have challenged Lexis Nexis in reference to this inaccurate, incomplete, unfair and Unverifiable Bankruptcy and their 4 responses came back that it was verified. I advised Lexis Nexis that any Automated Response or XXXXXXXX and or matching up the last 4 of a consumer social security number for verification is Unacceptable. I also provided a copy of a letter From the US Bankruptcy Courts of XXXX Maryland explaining their reporting procedure to agencies in which was sent to me Via Mail which I was advised that they do not report nor do they validate and or confirm public records due to the Fair Credit Reporting Agency Privacy Law. Per FCRA 623 ( a ) ( 5 ) " IF the Credit Bureau can not Validate the information from the original source and or ( creditor ) than they must remove said information from the consumer files. First letter sent to Lexis Nexis was XX/XX/19 2 ) XX/XX/19 3 ) XX/XX/19 4 ) By phone XX/XX/19 I asked the Representative to send me the copies of my signature bearing this Bankruptcy and she responded and said they will see if they can find my Signature along with the Chapter XXXX and full social security #. Again I received nothing except saying it came back as verified without documentation of my signature which are violations. Lexis Nexis Response Dates are as follows by mail 1 ) XX/XX/19 2 ) XX/XX/19 3 ) XX/XX/19 4 ) XX/XX/19

Consumer Complaint: I discovered two weeks ago that Lexisnexis -- as part of the Risk Solutions part of their company -- had a report on me that includes information about another woman with the same first and last name, but different middle initial and different social security number. This woman 's financial information is negative and I am in the process of trying to complete a financial arrangement which this information is blocking. I called Lexisnexis to dispute the information. The person I talked to was able to determine the problem by a simple visual examination of the data but said the dispute process would take 30 days. I asked that it be expedited. I should point out that none of the information in the Lexisnexis data base is in any of the reports from the credit reporting agencies, like XXXX. My immediate concern is the difficulty the inaccuracies are causing me. But in the course of my discussion with the Lexisnexis representative I became alarmed about the quality of Lexisnexis information in general. I was told that the data collection depends on first and last name only ; it isn't even sophisticated enough to take different middle names into account -- much less, apparently, social security numbers. Lexisnexis Risk Solutions describes the product as providing 'powerful analytics tools and targeted solutions that support more informed, more effective decisions '. Nothing about my situation supports this description.
