Consumer Complaint: I attempted to get insurance for my car through XXXX XXXX, and the rate quoted during quote was lower than when I went to check out. It stated I had an accident with injury on XX/XX/XXXX that I was at fault over, I talked to service person and they confirmed and gave me phone number and Reference number # XXXX. I contacted LexisNexis ( XX/XX/XXXX ) and over the phonean automated system took information and was going to send me a report which I still haven't received. Couple days later I contact LexisNexis again and talked with a lady who stated I had this on my report but with no injury and that it was an accident with a travel trailer that belonged to my ex wife in which she ran it into her house backing it in. I gave the lady from LexisNexis all information AGAIN and she was going to file a claim to remove. On XX/XX/XXXX I received a letter stating they can't find a file matching mine. So I tried to get XXXX XXXX again thinking it had been removed, but still shows against me. At this point I don't know how much extra I have paid since XXXX due to this and now they're playing games stating they have no information

Consumer Complaint: My LexisNexis motor vehicle records are not correct. My driving record is clean and I have a Certified State of Illinois report to prove it. I have called LexisNexis numerous times to have this information removed from my file. They tell me they are filing a dispute but nothing ever comes of it. This is old in-accurate information that should be expunged or vacated from my file. Please feel free to fine them for the blatant attitude they display.

Consumer Complaint: DOES ANYONE AT LEXISNEXIS ACTUALLY READ THESE COMPLAINTS?? OR JUST SEND OUT " CANNED '' RESPONSES? I HAVE ASKED SEVERAL TIMES FOR LEXISNEXIS TO REMOVE A CHAPTER XXXX BANKRUPTCY FROM MY CREDIT REPORT. I HAVE NOT ASKED FOR IT TO BE " VERIFIED '' I AM ASKING FOR IT TO BE REMOVED. According to the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) a Chapter XXXX bankruptcy CAN remain on your credit history for up to 10-years from the filing date. the filing date was XX/XX/XXXX. There are some KEY PHRASES in that statement that need to be clarified : 1. " Can '' - The FCRA does not require that a bankruptcy remains on your credit report a full decade. 2. " Up to '' - Again, 10 years is not a legal minimum, it is the maximum. So, legally, bankruptcy CAN BE REMOVED from a credit report before that limit is reached. Since the filing date was XX/XX/XXXX it will be REMOVED XX/XX/XXXX. I am requesting it to be removed now according to the FCRA. LEXISNEXIS stated in their last response the following : Mr. XXXX name, previous address XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, MI XXXX and full social security number reported to LexisNexis by the nationwide consumer reporting agencies. In this above statement, again LexisNexis is " VERIFYING '' the info and that is NOT what I question. WHAT I AM ASKING THEM TO " VERIFY " IN THEIR STATEMENT ARE, THEY INDICATE THEY RECEIVED MY INFORMATION BY THE " NATIONWIDE CONSUMER REPORTING AGENCIES '' WHO? WHICH ONES? This statement contradicts what they state in their canned responses in the past that they get the information from XXXX. I have attached a letter that the bankruptcy court has sent to me that they do not report to credit reporting agencies. As I stated in this letter I want the bankruptcy removed and if LEXIS NEXIS can not remove it than I ask WHO has to remove it or WHO do I have to call to have it removed as it has 99. % reached the MAXIMUM time limit from the filing date of XX/XX/XXXX.
