Consumer Complaint: I requested how the information in my report was validated and LexisNexis refuses to provide this information to me without supplying them 12 documents to prove who I am when this is an invasion of my privacy and a way for them to collect more information to sell to the credit bureaus. They are refusing to provide how the received the information on my report. I have contacted the court in XXXX regarding the bankruptcy and they have stated that they do not provide this information to any of the credit bureaus nor do they give this information to public reporting agency such as Lexis Nexis.

My second letter to LexisNexis, I requested that they send me the original documents with my signature on it. LexisNexis has fail to respond to any of my phone calls and letters.

Issue: Problem with a credit reporting company's investigation into an existing problem
Subissue: Their investigation did not fix an error on your report
Consumer Complaint: This is my 5th ( seriously ) dispute of account information disputing a dismissed bankruptcy public record that does not belong to me. It is appearing on my credit report from XXXX. It doesnt appear on any other credit report. They were removed once Lexis Nexis removed it from my consumer file there. I Mailed in a CMRR letter notarized and sworn under oath. Explained my dispute in detail and provided XXXX the letter from Lexis Nexis stating the bankruptcy didnt belong to me. I stated under oath the bankruptcy public record was not mine. Ive researched the address of the courthouse reporting this information. ( XXXX. XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX. And also to request information. It states this is the address of the Federal Court reporting the bankruptcy information my XXXX Credit report ( copy attached ) However my research has indicated that the address listed is incorrect and that in fact no Bankruptcy court is located at the listed address at all. Nothing exists at this address except a P.O. Box which is the address XXXX has consistently verified as accurate. No phone number is listed. I am not a resident of Mississippi nor have I ever lived there. My first and last name is VERY common. I believe my information has a mixed file with someone else. This is a manifest injustice. A gross negligence on the part of XXXX for failure to correct an error that has been proved as inaccurate as well as proved THAT IVE PROVIDED AMPLE AND TANGIBLE EVIDENCE for them all they have to do is actually check it. The company who XXXX lists on its website ( Lexis Nexis Risk Services ) and in previous correspondence on verified disputes ( stated in writing Lexis Nexis verified the public record as accurate ), even tho Lexis Nexis has stated in writing that they have purged and deleted the incorrect bankruptcy from their records on me. This is bringing me to the conclusion that XXXX is not actually sending my disputes to the furnisher of information. I have proof in writing from Lexis Nexis stating that the bankruptcy information was removed from my credit file at their company and that they sent disputes to anyone who they may have reported that information as well ( see attached ). My 2nd concern is that XXXX is not processing my disputes in a timely fashion. According to the FCRA consumer disputes should be initiated and sent to the furnisher of information within 5 days of receiving the dispute or informs the consumer in writing why that hasnt happened. I have a certified mail Return receipt. XXXX signed for the mailed in dispute on Tuesday XXXX, XXXX at it XXXX Headquarters in California. I filed a subsequent complaint with CFPB complaint # XXXX only after the 5 days had lapsed dispute was not being processed. The dispute was not opened until XX/XX/2020. It was certified not verified on XX/XX/2020. Well over the allowed mandated times according to the FCRA. I am once again requesting a removal of the public records in bankruptcy case # XXXX information from my XXXX credit Report. I have new information from Lexis Nexis. ( See attached ) The bankruptcy is not mine. I have also been a victim of ID Theft. My next step is to take all my paperwork and evidence to a competent FCRA attorney and let them decide if we have enough to bring XXXX up on charges in Minnesota. Dealing with this is driving me completely insane. This dispute process is very frustrating I see why so many people give up. Please review this new evidence and Remove it from from consumer files at XXXX. Thank you

Consumer Complaint: My insurance company raised my rate due to a temporary suspension that was reported on my dl from XX/XX/XXXX - XX/XX/XXXX. This is an error as I have had no contact with anyone or anything this entire year that would even imply that my license was suspended, let alone reinstated, without my knowledge. My insurance company keeps pointing at lexisnexis, lexisnexis is pointing at the dmv, and the dmv is pointing back at my insurance company. It is costing energy and effort to try to set something right that they all agree is no my doing, or my fault, but no one wants to step up to fix the issue. My insurance company maintains that lexisnexis has the power to remove the incorrect information from the record. Lexisnexis maintains that it is the dmv 's records that need to be edited. The dmv has given conflicting information I spoke to all these entities today, Tuesday, XX/XX/2020.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX REFUSES to remove an inaccurate Bankruptcy they keep reporting on my credit report even after being notified by Lexis Nexis that it was removed from their file. This is ILLEGAL!!! They were notified and sent letters pertaining to this matter on FOUR separate occasions, dated XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX XX/XX/XXXX XX/XX/XXXX and XXXX! They were sent attached letter from Lexis Nexis, see attached! XXXX had the temerity to come back and say they " investigated '' the evidence I submitted and alleges that Lexis Nexis " verified '' info that they denounced on the attached letter sent to me from Lexis Nexis on behalf of CFPB. So i am confused, how did XXXX " verify '' this Bankruptcy from a company who removed it due to it being inaccurate and illegally reported. Is Lexis Nexis lying about removing it from my file? Or is XXXX lying about launching an investigation into my concern. Either way my rights under the FCRA/FDCPA CFPB MUST hold these companies accountable. These bureaus should not be able to lie and destroy consumers lives!
