Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/20 I called and requested my full disclosure consumer file from LexisNexis. My identity was verified and my report was mailed. On XX/XX/20, I sent in proof of identity ( copy of ID and social security card ) and correspondence requesting removal of bankruptcy, ALL old addresses ( and email addresses ) and requested to update my new address ( case number XXXX ). During this time, I mailed a letter to the US Bankruptcy Court and I received mailed correspondence dated XX/XX/20 stating they don't validate or verify bankruptcies or public records for LexisNexis or any other 3rd party companies. On XX/XX/20 I called in to request a security freeze on my consumer report, I verified my identity, and a PIN was created and mailed to me. On XX/XX/20 I emailed LexisNexis the letter from the US Bankruptcy Court and I requested the bankruptcy to be removed due to inaccurate reporting. On XX/XX/20 I spoke with XXXX and stated the 30-day statute ( from XX/XX/20 ) had passed regarding my dispute to remove inaccurate information. XXXX goes on to say that my identity couldn't be verified and that was the reason nothing was mailed. Any time I send correspondence, I always include a copy of my ID and social security card. Now all of a sudden, my identity cant be verified. In that recorded conversation, I requested yet another investigation for the proof of method of verification of the bankruptcy from my file ( case number XXXX ). Again, I didn't receive anything after the 30-day statute, so I sent another email on XX/XX/20. This time I received response via email stating to call LexisNexis. I called on XX/XX/20 and spoke with XXXX and he told me my identity could not be verified so that's why nothing was mailed. Pursuant to Rule 1005 of the Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure, all documents filed with the court are to contain only the last 4 digits of the individual 's social security number or tax identification number. FRCA 611 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ) was violated in each instance, therefore I request that this public record be removed from my report and an updated report be mailed to me.

Consumer Complaint: Nexis Lexis is in violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ). I contacted Lexis Nexis to obtain a copy of my credit report. I tried obtaining this report on line, however, unlike the corporations who the company serves, deliberately, willfully and negligently is preventing me from obtaining a copy of the report. This is the second attempt of my trying to obtain this report. As a result I lost the opportunity of getting a job that would have paid me over 100,000 dollars per year. I have already sustained severe financial damages as a result of not being able to obtain this report. Nexis Lexis has a double standard, one for the consumer and one for it's clients, in which Nexis Lexis bars the consumer from being able to obtain a copy of the report by deliberately putting in road blocks. Today we tried to get the copy of the report, having waited weeks to hear from Nexus Lexis. We were given a website and the pin number for the second time. This time what happened was the pin number once again does not work. When you call the number, the provide, a computer voice comes on and says that there is no one available to speak with and refers back to a revolving door to nowhere website.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2020 and on XXXX results of two reinvestigations I disputed were delivered to me from LexisNexis regarding several incorrect invalid items that were reporting on my LexisNexis Clue report. One item in particular that stood out was SECTION 6 RECORD NUMBER 1 on my credit file which is a Civil Judgement that is in someone else 's name. This particular item was also labeled as a bankruptcy Case on XX/XX/2020 after the results of the reinvestigation, but was reported on my credit file as a Civil Judgment. On XX/XX/2020 this item was then changed from being labeled as a bankruptcy to being labeled as a Lawsuit, Civil Filing, Judgment and Lien Record. LexisNexis also is displaying the incorrect Source of this invalid information on my credit file in SECTION 6 RECORD NUMBER 1. I have reached out to LexisNexis and sent all documentation concerning this error in their reporting as well. I have sent them all proof that they have the wrong persons information reporting on my file. I also have sent proof that the name in question is incorrect, but similar to my own. I have even sent LexisNexis my drivers license indicating the civil judgment can not possibly be mines because my drivers license was issued before this error in their reporting of the other person name. LexisNexis indicated that their Source of information was from XXXX XXXX Justice Court, which in fact, courts do not disclose information to 3rd party creditors or credit reporting agencies. I have have asked for the METHOD OF VERIFICATION twice from LexisNexis and twice have been denied and met with NON COMPLIANCE. After submitting my documents disputing these invalid items to LexisNexis, they have twice violated the Fair Credit Reporting Act by not providing me with their method of verification regarding the invalid items that i've disputed thus far. What they are doing is a violation of the FCRA. I was not provided Identification of each person ( including each end-user identified under section 607 ( e ) ( 1 ) [ 1681e ] ) that procured a consumer report. I have asked the name of the person or persons or, if applicable, the trade name ( written in full ) under which such person conducts business ; and the the address ( s ) and telephone number ( s ) of the all individuals who procured the report and conducted the investigation. Twice I have asked LexisNexis for their method of verification as stated in the Fair Credit Reporting Act and have not gotten a response. As stated in 609 Disclosure To Consumers [ 15U.S.C 1681g ] ( a ) Information on file ; sources ; report recipients. Every consumer reporting agency shall, upon request, and subject to 610 ( a ) ( 1 ) [ 1681h ], clearly and accurately disclose to the consumer : As we know that information that verifies the information in your credit report is supposed to be in the files of the credit bureau, not the creditor. This is the Information that the credit bureaus are supposed to store in their database on every consumer. As well as 609 ( c ) ( E ) I am asking the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau to investigate the non compliance by LexisNexis and the disputes that i have submitted.

Consumer Complaint: I filed a dispute with XXXX, XXXX, XXXX and Lexis Nexis involving a public record that is inaccurately reporting on my credit report. It is a publica record more specifically a bankruptcy filing showing both the assets and liabilities sections inaccurately. They are required by the laws outline in the FCRA to report all information on my report 100 % accurately. The assets and liabilities sections both show as {$0.00}. This is incorrect and I disputed the information on numerous occasions. They promptly " VERIFIED '' that information. I disputed it again and it was yet again " VERIFIED ''. I asked specifically HOW they verified the item and they reported that they used a 3rd party. I received a letter from the Courthouse stating that they " DO NOT REPORT ANY INFORMATION TO ANY CREDIT BUREAUS ( I have included a copy of that letter as proof ). I also obtained my own court documents had have attached proof showing that the assets and liabilities was more than {$0.00} and that my rights were violated because of ALL of bureaus refusal to investigate properly.
