Consumer Complaint: I recently disputed a bankruptcy on my credit reports, which came back " verified by the data furnisher ''. As LexisNexis was referenced as the " data furnisher '', but my credit report says " U.S. Bankruptcy Court '', the data furnisher would had to have been the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, and NOT LexisNexis. I am unsure how even LexisNexis would be able to verify my information with the bankruptcy court because State and Federal Courts DO NOT give or furnish any information to 3rd parties, which include credit bureaus and data miners like LexisNexis. My birth date and social security number are NOT items of public record or general interest. LexisNexis has a long history of reporting information that not only does not belong to me, but is factually inaccurate. Bankruptcy and other public records are housed on a LexisNexis report ; since LexisNexis is a credit reporting agency, LexisNexis must adhere to the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Therefore, they need to verify all data with the furnisher, which in this case would be the bankruptcy court - which they do not verify information or provide records to 3rd parties.

Consumer Complaint: This is now CFPB complaint number 4. Yes, this is the fourth time I have submitted a complaint against this company. Although we have made VERY LITTLE progress they're still violating our consumer rights! My daughter and I called, faxed and emailed this company over 30 times within the last 3 months requesting that they mail us BOTH a FULL, COMPLETE, PRINTED COPY OF OUR PERSONAL CONSUMER REPORTS. WE HAVE NOT RECEIVED THEM! We did receive a PARTIAL report from them in XX/XX/2020 which we later learned was NOT the completed report. We were advised over the phone on countless occasions that we have more than ONE consumer number! We have requested that the company DELETE, REMOVE, DISPUTE AND SUPPRESS ANY AND ALL DUPLICATE FILES! We have requested this via email, telephone and now fax! We have literally sent over 30 faxes to this company. We have began faxing all correspondence that we received from them beginning in XX/XX/2020 along with the copies of the CFPB complaints and emails that confirm that our files should be deleted AND suppressed. The company has refused to send us BOTH OUR OWN PERSONAL SEPARATE copies. It has been OVER 90 days since we requested our consumer reports and still have not received them. It has been over 30 days since we began the dispute process and have not received updated results nor an updated copy of the consumer report. They claim that some information has been verified and validated but never sent us the proof of verification. What was verified? With who? Where are the verified documents? What agency or company verified the information? The reason for my continued complaints is to build a paper trail to make my lawsuit easier to win when I show proof that the company is fraud! The contact person XXXX XXXX is a liar! She barely responds to the emails and when she does, it's not specific and she doesn't actually answer any questions that are being asked of her. Too much time goes by before she actually responds with no information. Just a waste of time talking and emailing her. I have recorded calls and fax transmittal 's. This company 's credibility should be monitored and investigated more thoroughly. Inquiring about starting a class action lawsuit as I'm learning that my daughter and I aren't the only individuals that are experiencing these issues with them. WE HAVE CONTINUOUSLY REQUESTED TO HAVE ALL DUPLICATE, INCORRECT CONSUMER NUMBERS AND CASE NUMBERS REMOVED, DELETED, DISPUTED AND SUPPRESSED! ALL DELETED FILES SHOULD BE SUPPRESSED TO ENSURE THAT THEY ARE NOT ADDED BACK TO THE CONSUMER REPORT!

LexisNexis was named as the vendor that verified the public record. I have submitted supporting documents to XXXX from LexisNexis stating that the public record account do not exist. Also, a letter from Bankruptcy court stating they do not report directly to credit Bureaus. I understand that the XXXX must physically verify information from the original furnisher. This public record is not reported by the other reporting agencies XXXX and XXXX. I asked XXXX in my previous dispute about the non consistent and inaccurate reporting, which was never validated. Consumer Complaint: XXXX reported an at fault accident to Lexis Nexis. And that made my car insurance go up, and now I have 4 points on my mvr. I sent information to them XX/XX/2020 and still havent heard anything back from them. I continue to call them but Im told they have nothing to do with that. And when I call Lexis Nexis they are telling me that they cant do anything about it because XXXX reported it. I sent in police documents from the accident in question. And I even asked them about information on the accident that they reported. And of course I received nothing. And nobody can tell me anything. In the report they can see I wasnt involved in the accident at all. My car was but me physically.

Consumer Complaint: My wife and I decided to purchase a house. On XX/XX/2020 we continued working with XXXX XXXX from XXXX XXXX on a mortgage application. He tried to use LexisNexis to identify me over the phone, but I was unable to pass the questions. The questions were worded such that someone who only vaguely knows me would probably be able to answer them correctly. But I could not answer the questions correctly because I am me, and I know the correct details. This was the third time, where I am trying to be identified over the phone with some financial institution and I was unable to be verified. Now, yesterday, XX/XX/2020, my XXXX XXXX was supposed to have wired money to the XXXX XXXX for closing on this house. Customer Service from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX tried to identify me using the LexisNexis service. They were unable to verify my identity and consequently they DID NOT WIRED MY FUNDS TO TXXXX XXXX XXXX The representative was supposed to call me back after checking with his boss, but never did. Now we are facing delays or contractual penalties, because of a potential delay in our closing on the house. This morning a rep from the XXXX XXXX called me back again to verify my identity using LexisNexis. There was another question about an " XXXX XXXX. '' I do not know an XXXX XXXX. I have a daughter named XXXX, and an EX WIFE named XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. So what gives? If they are trying to Uniquely identify and verify who I am, shouldn't they have VERIFIED and CORRECT INFORMATION about who I am? I answered the question about " XXXX XXXX '' as if it were XXXX, my daughter, and I passed the test this time.

Consumer Complaint: Filed a complaint on XX/XX/20. Company replied XX/XX/20 stating they've completed investigation but could not authenticate my identity. They have my dispute and they have my consumer number. When I filed this complaint through CFPB, it asked for my date of birth to send to this company. Not sure how this company is unable to " authenticate '' my identity. This is just another one of their stall tactics that can be brought up in the courts and fined. I sent an email over to the company at the email address stated in the response letter they sent me this morning on XX/XX/20 and provided all of the requested documents. I have still not received the telephone number nor the name of the person who allegedly verified this information. I have also been waiting for a return phone call that all of these representatives keep saying it will take 48 hours for a call back and i have not yet to speak with authoritative figure in this company and it's been a week since the request. They will not transfer you to a higher up entity. It is now 19 days past the allotted time and I still have no information.
