Consumer Complaint: Hello, CFPB. I have filed a complaint with CFPB for the 3 credit bureaus XXXX, XXXX and XXXX. In my first complaint it only allows me to list 3 Company names. I am now sending a complaint specifically to include two more credit reporting agencies which are Lexis Nexis and XXXX. I need to make sure that " all '' credit bureaus and credit agencies remove this unvalidated information from my credit report/credit file at all agencies. On XX/XX/XXXX, I sent a letter to the US Bankruptcy Court District of New Jersey asking if they report bankruptcies to the credit bureaus. I received the attached letter back from the US Bankruptcy Court District of New Jersey stating They do not report or provide information to any credit bureaus or agencies. The court further stated that They do not have any affiliation with the credit agencies, nor does it have any knowledge of, or access to, their procedures and records. So, if that is the case how did the Lexis Nexis and XXXX XXXX and reporting agencies edify this bankruptcy as 100 % accurate. They never did a fair investigation according to the 15 USC 1681. They are falsely stating this information on my credit report and have yet to remove this from my credit report. I have included tracking numbers confirming my disputes were sent by certified mail. I would like for you to have them take this unvalidated information off of my credit report. Lexis Nexis and XXXX and credit bureaus/agencies have violated my rights under 15 USC 1681 numerous times. 15 USC 1681 section 603 ( 3 ) ( E ) states ; The term investigative consumer report means a consumer report or portion thereof in which information on a consumers character, general reputation, personal characteristics, or mode of living is obtained through personal interviews with neighbors, friends, or associates of the consumer reported on or with others with whom he is acquainted or who may have knowledge concerning any such items of information. However, such information shall not include specific factual information on a consumers credit record obtained directly from a creditor of the consumer or from a consumer reporting agency when such information was obtained directly from a creditor of the consumer or from the consumer. According to 15 USC 1681 Section 602 A : It states I have the right to privacy. According to 15 USC 1681 Section 604 A, Section 2 : It states that a consumer reporting agency can not furnish an account without my written instructions. According to 15 USC 1681s-2 ( A ) ( 1 ) : it states a person shall not furnish any information relating to a consumer to any consumer reporting agency if the person knows or has reasonable cause to believe that the information is inaccurate. On XX/XX/XXXX I mailed letters to Lexis Nexis, XXXX and US Bankruptcy Court District of New Jersey : Lexis Nexis USPS Certified Mail Tracking # XXXX XXXX USPS Certified Mail Tracking # XXXX US Bankruptcy USPS Certified Mail Tracking # XXXX Court of NJ On XX/XX/XXXX I mailed letters to the 3 Credit Bureaus XXXX XXXX, XXXX and XXXX : XXXX USPS Certified Mail Tracking # XXXX XXXX USPS Certified Mail Tracking # XXXX XXXX USPS Certified Mail Tracking # XXXX None of these credit reporting agencies nor Lexis Nexis and XXXX have removed this information from my credit report, as I have requested. Again, I would like for you to have them take this unvalidated information off of my credit report. They are violating my rights under 15 USC 1681 numerous times.
