Consumer Complaint: Dear LEXIS-NEXIS, I am writing to dispute the information being reported by your company regarding my bankruptcy. I believe that you are in violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) by selling, transferring, and reporting inaccurate information to the credit bureaus. As per the FCRA 15 USC 1681, a credit reporting agency can be sued for negligent or willful compliance with the law within two years after discovering harmful behavior, or within five years if the harmful behavior occurred. It also stipulates that only data furnishers are authorized to provide information to credit bureaus. Banks, credit unions, retail credit, car issuers, auto lenders, mortgage brokers, debt collectors, and other voluntary send information to credit bureaus. Furthermore, I have some questions regarding how your company obtained the information regarding my bankruptcy from the United States Bankruptcy Court. Did the court sell or transfer this information to your company, or did your company obtain it through some other means? Is the United States Bankruptcy Court a credit reporting agency, and do they have the authorization to provide information to credit bureaus? Therefore, I request the following information to support your Metro 2 compliance for consumer and commercial credit reporting : A copy of your written policies and procedures for Metro 2 compliance in consumer and commercial credit reporting. Information on how your company obtains and verifies the accuracy of consumer and commercial credit information, and how it ensures that information is reported in accordance with Metro 2 guidelines. Details on any training or education provided to your employees regarding Metro 2 compliance in consumer and commercial credit reporting. Information on the systems and technology used by your company to report consumer and commercial credit information in Metro 2 format. Details on whether your company has undergone any audits or assessments of its Metro 2 compliance practices, and if so, request copies of the reports or findings. I also request information showing a contract you signed to become a data furnisher, including the data furnisher agreement. Additionally, I would like to know how you were able to convert to Metro 2 format and become Metro 2 compliant. I dispute the information being reported by your company and request that it be removed from my consumer report immediately. If this information is not removed, I will be forced to take legal action. Attached information : XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX bankruptcy, address XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, FL XXXX, last four social XXXX, date of birth XX/XX/1978. Consumer Complaint: My loans were paid off completely by XXXX of XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX I called XXXX inquiring about my qualifications for receiving the student loan reimbursement that I understood I could qualify to receive after the Biden-Harris administration announced the Loan Forgiveness. I had completely paid off my loans during COVID-19 pandemic and for this reason, and given that I received a Pell Grant in the past, the person I spoke to on the phone stated that when verified, the aforementioned would qualify me for this refund. The person never counseled me on the fact that to receive this refund, that would mean completely reopening 19 loan accounts in my name and report them to the credit bureau. She only very casually mentioned that I could see a balance in my account but to not be worried about it because this was part of the refund. Months later I get a random deposit of XXXX from the Department of Education and when I call them, I find out I owe XXXX on my student loans and that money is for me to pay it back. This is completely nonsensical as I did not owe a single cent. I have been blindsided and now my credit reports shows a sudden opening of loan accounts and my car insurance has raised my car insurance because of this. I will take the necessary action to get the accountability from XXXX as it is my consumer right to be informed of something that will be opened in my name and reported to a credit bureau Pertinent Dates : XXXX XXXXALL student loans fully paid off XXXX-Spoke to XXXX rep regarding student loan refund XX/XX/XXXX -- > Received XXXX from Department of Education without any written notice explaining what money was for a XX/XX/XXXX -- > Spoke to XXXX rep who disclosed they had in fact reopened my loan accounts. Realized at that point that I was misinformed by them and that they had without my consent reopened my loans XX/XX/XXXX -- > XXXX XXXX sends me a letter letting me know I no longer qualify for my previous rate based on Credit Reports XX/XX/XXXX -- > Sent LexisNexis Consumer a request to see what they had reported to XXXX XXXX that affected my Car Insurance XX/XX/XXXX -- > realized there are 19 new loan accounts opened in my name by XXXX

Consumer Complaint: Credit report agency has falsely used my personal information without my consent and is using it to report to other credit reporting agencies. I notified them to give information on how they received my information and they said from bankruptcy court. I reached out to courts and they have denied to disclose any of my information to credit agencies. I sent the court notice verifying that they did not release any information about me, so the credit agency is falsely using my information to report without my consent and I want this removed from my consumer report effective immediately.

Consumer Complaint: I'm having an issue with LexisNexis constantly telling me lies, giving me the run around and keep reporting a bankruptcy that I did not provide permission to do so according to the FCRA. Also under consumer law 15 U.S.C 1681 a1,2, and 3... .15 U.S.C 1681s-2. I called LexisNexis to dispute this issue several times,. On XX/XX/XXXX I sent out disputes concerning the bankruptcy to all 3 credit reporting agencies XXXX XXXX XXXX and LexisNexis along with the letter from XXXX and my updated information. Almost 2 months pass I called back they said they closed the investigation but I never recieved any mail for it. I called on XX/XX/XXXX and they reopened the investigation so On XXXX XXXX XXXX a representative told me that that they do get there information from XXXX, even after I sent the actual letter I received from XXXX stating that they don't report to anyone. So I asked LexisNexis where are you getting your information from in order to legally report it. But they keep closing out my disputes. But never send me any notifications of the dispute results. I'm just fed up with this issue it's hending my credit and causing damages I keep getting denied for things due to them keep reporting it
