Consumer Complaint: I am writing to dispute the accuracy of a public record item on my credit report. The item in question is USBK COURT XXXX INDIANA REFERENCE # XXXX which I previously disputed with you. In response to my dispute, you verified the item as accurate, stating that you had verified the information with the court. However, I have recently contacted the court and they have informed me that they do not report to you or any credit agencies for that matter. Therefore, your original response verifying the item with the court was either an error or a lie. This is a clear violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) 611 ( 15 U.S.C. ), which requires credit reporting agencies to follow reasonable procedures to ensure the maximum possible accuracy of the information they report.

Consumer Complaint: I have been trying for months to resolve the issue of an inaccurate item on my credit file with XXXX. Each time I have disputed the item, they claim to have verified it with their Public Records provider, Lexis Nexis. Lexis Nexis has consistently claimed that they have deleted the item from their files and have claimed to have taken steps to have the item removed from the files of the three main CRAs. However, even though in the last complaint response regarding my complaint to you about Lexis Nexis, they stated clearly that they were investigating and would contact the CRAs and advise me of their findings, clearly, they have not done so. This is obvious from the attached excerpt from XXXX 's response to my XX/XX/XXXX dispute, which was just posted on this portal, as they apparently have once again confirmed the item to XXXX ( please note the highlighted text ), contrary to what they have claimed to have been doing. I have sent Lexis Nexis several requests to send a clear directive to XXXX to remove the item, but they have not responded to me and obviously have not done so.
