Consumer Complaint: On XXXX XXXX XXXX ( Sunday ) around XXXX I deposited {$6900.00} in XXXX dollar bills to the ATM located in XXXX TX at the corner of XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX The ATM was making a funny noise and instead of giving me a receipt, it gave me a ticket that stated the transaction could not be completed and to call the XXXX number on the printed ticket to report this. The ATM screen turned Red and said it was not working. I waited at the ATM and in the parking lot while I called the number on the ticket to report what occurred. I also checked my online banking and the money was not in my account. I told the claims person what happened and they told me they had to conduct an investigation. This investigation would be completed no longer than 14 days. On Tuesday, 2 days later, the amount of {$6900.00} was put into my account. This made me believe that the issue was cleared up and that was it. Fast forward to this. XX/XX/XXXX morning when I check my Chase online banking to see my account is overdrawn by a little over {$5000.00}. I call the claims department who say theres nothing they can do. I drive to the bank where this occurred and sat with the bank manager, XXXX XXXX, for an hour while he spoke on the phone. Apparently all avenues of resolve are completed. What I was told : Chase found {$1600.00} dollars extra in the ATM so they credited my account that amount making it where I owe Chase {$5200.00}. Then after the {$170.00} I had in the account its slightly over {$5000.00} that I allegedly owe Chase Bank.

Consumer Complaint: On XXXX, an amount of {$72.00} was posted on my credit card from a merchant called " XXXX XXXX ''. I contacted my bank and explained to them that service has never been provided by the merchant and I disputed the charges. The transaction was made online and the merchant should issue a voucher but no voucher has ever been received from the merchant. I contacted my bank multiple times but they seem not to take appropriate actions regarding this fraudulent charge. XXXX is an online marketing website which give discount for some businesses and when you made a business transaction with them, they issue you a voucher that you take to the business to get admitted. For my case, I booked a basketball game event through XXXX but they never issue me a voucher for the event. So I wasn't allow to attend the basketball game event that I paid for through XXXX because they failed to provide me with the service

Consumer Complaint: On XXXX I deposited a check for {$190000.00}. It was a third party endorsement check. Both owners on the check physically came into Chase bank along with me and verified their endorsement and desire to make the check payable to me. This was a requirement due to the check being a TREASURY CHECK. Afterwards I was told the check was valid and Id be receiving my funds from being restricted. 24 hours later I was told I WILL NOT be receiving my funds and over 8 back office representatives had no reasoning why. It was made very clear theres nothing illegal thats preventing me from receiving my funds but they simply are refusing to release my funds. This is a blatant violation of my policy agreement. Today I was ridiculously told that Id need a letter from the IRS stating XXXX AND XXXX XXXX provided me with the check, I even had her note my account of that stupidity. Since when does the IRS write letters or become involved in personal affairs. CHASE POLICY ON THIRD PARTY ENDORSEMENTS ARE CLEAR. ALL PRTIES ARE TO SIGN AND MAKE THE CHECK PAYABLE TO WHOM. I SATISFIED THAT REQUIREMENT AS WELL AS PHYSICALLY HAD THE PARTIES COME INTO THE BANK .. My signed agreement upon opening my account does not legally bind me to provide no letters of any kind to release funds of third party checks, ESPECIALLY AFTER THEY HAVE CLOSED MY ACCOUNT! If I were a XXXX XXXX this would not be happening to me. This is a financial crime on behalf of JP MORGAN CHASE! To ask me to contact the IRS on behalf of two other people is hideous. Furthermore, they asked me the purpose of the funds and they said if I can provide documentation of its purpose Id receive my Funds from the closed account. So I provided a notarized bill of sale showing I sold my inherited tractor trailer from my deceased grandfather to the XXXX and they signed the bill of sale. That was a lie to, because they refused to again release the funds. After myself and the XXXX Left Chse bank from verifying our identities and they confirmed the legitimacy of the Treasury check and informed me id receive my funds I trusted Chase bank so I released my tractor trailer to them. Consumer Complaint: On or about XX/XX/2023, at approximately XXXXXXXX XXXX, as I have done in the past, I deposited {$3200.00} in cash in the CHASE bank branch ATM in XXXX, CA. Immediately thereafter, the machine displayed a red screen while producing a transaction number AID # XXXX, also noting that " Deposit to Chk Acct XXXX To be sure your deposit went through, please call us at XXXX. XXXX '' I immediately went inside the bank and reported the transaction since I needed that money to pay for my rent. I was shocked and surprised that the representative stated that I needed to place a " claim '' and there would be a 10 day investigation. I reiterate that this money was intended to pay critical housing bill as I have done for the past 3 years. How is it possible that in this day and age a bank would advertise the convenience use of its depositing machines with these menial impediments? I have now incurred substantial credit expenses and fees together with anxiety and panic attacks all the fault of a grossly negligent bank. Please help.

Consumer Complaint: In XXXX of 2021 someone opened a fraudulent business account in my name. They created a DBA account and then went to Chase bank and got a credit card for the fake business. They charged around XXXX XXXX dollars. About 6 months later, my credit report dropped over XXXX points. After a few calls to Chase we figured out what had happened, I told them this was fraud and they reversed the charges and removed it from my credit report. About 3 months later, Chase went ahead and put the charges back onto my credit report. When I called them to clarify ; I was told that the account was opened in person and I was responsible. I contested the charges sent them proof I was working until XXXX that day, and was probably asleep when this happened. I sent them pictures of my ID and other information. I never heard back from Chase. When I called them again a month later, they said they investigated and I was responsible for the account. They have never disclaimed how they investigated or how they determined I was responsible. When asked if they have the ID from the person who opened the account they said they don't require an ID to open an account. I provided my ID, and my signature does not match that of the account that was opened. They just talk in circles and say I am responsible, never providing any proof. They told me where the DBA was opened, and I should contact them. I asked why didn't they do it, being a big financial corporation and they said it's not their job. They also told me that the account was being paid up until a few months ago. I asked why don't they go after the account that was paying the charges ; they said I would have to investigate that. They are a bank, can't they figure out who was paying for the charges. They have now sent me to collections, even though they have never once contacted me, or provided me with any writing of a default account. When I asked who they were sending statements to, they said they had no email address linked to the account. Consistently they have been rude, disrespectful, and refused to help. I am always the person contacting them, trying to solve this cause of fraud, and they just stonewall me, when it would be much easier for them to solve it.

Consumer Complaint: My Chase bank checking account was fraudulently accessed by individual pretending to be Chase bank employees- including a call from fraud department from Chase bank phone number ( number was the same as on the back of my debit card ) After gaining access to my account criminals wired {$15000.00} out of my checking account to XXXX XXXX. When Chase bank called to authorize wire transfer i picked up the call and said i am already on the phone with Chace ( not knowing that i am on the phone with the criminals ) - real Chase employee after i informed them of this - went ahead and released the wire. Which i specifically did not authorize on that call. After realizing money were wired out of my account i called Chase bank and asked them to freeze everything - all accounts, all transactions, all online access. This happened about 30-40 min after the fraud wire taken place. I also called XXXX XXXX and gave them account number and the name on the account and asked them to freeze that account since my funds went in there without my authorization. After weeks of " investigation '' Chase informed me they were unable to recover funds from XXXX XXXX and denied my claim due to no fraud can be proved or i benefited from this transaction. This was escalated a couple of times within chase bank for further review but now they closed the case and said fraud can not be proven. i ask you to please help investigate this since chase won't- they are only interested in minimizing their fraud insurance claims.

Consumer Complaint: Today this bank denied me access to set up an account based on me having a balance. However, their was nom active pursuit to collect on the balance. After reviewing the statements I have taken note that my account was overdraft and that their were items that returned which caused insufficient funds fees, however there is no documentation on why those items were returned. I have gone through the statements with a fine tooth comb and their is no proof showing why the items that were returned were not covered. I am demanding a dispute of all charges and requesting my rights to reopen an account.
