Consumer Complaint: I 've tried disputing a fraudulent collection account on my credit report. I 've sent letters to the agency and have gotten little response. My official complaint is against IC SYSTEMS for reporting credit information to the credit reporting agencies that was a result of Identity Theft Ive asked in my letter that the negative reporting ceases and the information be removed from my credit report.

Several times over the last couple of years I asked for validation of this account and was unable to be provided this information. I do not have a contract with IC SYSTEMS INC or the other company and by SC State law ( SCCLA 15-3-530 ) the statue of limitation for debt collection is XXXX years from the XXXX date of delinquency. The first date according to IC Systems is XXXX I did not have services with company. This company is in violation of my state law. Please remove from my credit report.

Consumer Complaint: On X/XX/17 at XXXX XXXX I contacted IC System for a debt they had in my name for XXXX XXXX XXXX in the amount of XXXX. The Rep gave me the amiunt and I asked what kind of deal wee could make t pay it. He said he was authorized to reduce it to 75 % of the debt resulting in XXXX. I agreed and gave him a check by phone. He told me I would be receiving a letter paying the debt off and they would report it as paid that weekend. The check cleared my bank on XX/XX/17 for the amount of XXXX on XX/XX/17 instead of the pay off letter I was expecting to receive in the mail I received a new bill for the amount he reduced my bill for. Under our agreement I paid this debt off and no longer owe them anything. I have tried contacting the company and I have now disputed the debt with the credit burues. IC System has broken our agreement of the debt being paid off and is reporting it as a negative account on my credit.

Consumer Complaint: I dispu ted a derogatory item placed on my credit report by IC SYSTEM INC in err or to XXXX , XXXX and XXXX -- XXXX and XXXX fixed the error by removing the item from my credit report -- XXXX DID NOT. XXXX refused to remove the item and said so after their " investigation '' was complete. I disputed this item with IC System ( a collection company ) and they have not even acknowledged my complaint. On XXXX I resubmitted my dispute with XXXX and warned both IC System and XXXX of pending legal action I intend to take if this situation is not resolved IMMEDIATELY. The derogatory item was for an unpaid dentist bill ( {$900.00} ) which IS PAID and the account ( my husband XXXX 's ) is IN GOOD STANDING with XXXX XXXX ( merchant ). This item should NEVER have appeared on my credit report in the first place -- and since the item is PAID, this item DOES NOT BELONG IN COLLECTIONS.

They said they were calling about a " personal matter '' and asked me to confirm the address they have on file. I asked them twice to explain what they were calling about, but they refused to provide more details and hung up. My research indicates they are a debt collection company, but I have no idea what debt they were calling about since they hung up so fast. Now I am worried that my credit score will get hurt.
