Consumer Complaint: I covered my step children on my health insurance plan because their father refused to during court proceedings. The step children now have outstanding medical bills that the creditor has filed against me on my credit. I have no parental or guardian rights to the children they are still XXXX custody of their natural mother and father. The medical facility billed me as their father even though I proved to them I am not the natural father and have not adopted them. I only covered them as a benefit to them in a time of lack of coverage from their natural fathers responsibility.

Issue: Incorrect information on credit report
Subissue: Account status
Consumer Complaint: RE : acct XXXX I spoke with XXXX On XX/XX/2017 and agreed to do a pay and delete on an outstanding debt. As of XX/XX/2017 I paid the agreement amount of {$130.00}. However, since that time the debt still appears on my tradeline with all XXXX credit bureaus. I have spoken with several agents and supervisor and recently spoke with a manager named XXXX who on several occsians, most recently XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX who indicated information was sent to have the tradeline removed and yet it still appears. I was also advised on several times by the same manger that he would have a delete letter sent and its has now been two weeks and still no letter. Several phone agents advised that the same letter would be emailed, and still no letter. However the manager advised the letter could only be sent via mail. I have received nothing but conflicting information, and now that my debt has been paid they are refusing to remove the information from my tradeline. These collection agencies collect on accounts but then they do not honor the agreement. The requested documents are never sent and when you call, you are either disconnected or told there is nothing they can do. In my recent conversation with XXXX he advised that they would not contact the credit agencies and that he could not control the mailing time. He also indicated they would not be re-sending a letter. This collection agency has used false practices so that I could pay the debt. Now the debt is paid and still remains on my account and is still affecting my score, although it has been paid. I was told my the initial phone agent, several agents in between and the manager that the debt would be marked as paid and DELETED BUT NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE. Please assist me in getting this matter resolved and accept my complaint against the misrepresentation of this collection agency.

Consumer Complaint: I C Systems has been unable to provide proper documentation validating this account. I am seeking immediate action and to remove this negative information permanently from my credit reports. I C Systems is in violation of the HIPPA laws. I have sent multiple letters on XX/XX/XXXX ; XX/XX/XXXX ; XX/XX/XXXX, asking this company to verify this account and I have not recieved a satisfactory response. The only response I have received is a general bill asking for a payment of {$160.00}. This is the letter sent for validation of the account. This letter is being sent to you in response to an entry made on my Credit Report dated XX/XX/XXXX. Please be advised that this is not a refusal to pay the debt, but a notice sent pursuant to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, 1 : USC 1692g Sec 809 ( b ) that your claim that I owe you money is disputed, and validation is requested. Under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, I have the right to request validation of the debt you say I owe you. I am requesting proof that I am the correct party, and there is some contractual obligation which is binding on me to pay this debt. This is NOT a request for " verification '' via XXXX or proof of my mailing address, but a request for VALIDATION made pursuant to the above named Title and Section of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Reporting inaccurate and unsubstantiated information to a credit reporting agency may constitute fraud under the federal law. Compliance with this request is required under the laws of state and federal statutes. Debt validation includes the following : 1. Who was the original creditor on this account, and what was the account number? 2. What was the original amount owed? Please provide a complete payment history, starting with the original creditor. 3. Please provide me documentation that indicates that I agreed to pay someone this sum of money. 4. What was the original date of delinquency for this amount? 5. Agreement that grants you the authority to collect on this alleged debt, or proof of acquisition by assignment. 6. What did you pay for this account, and how did you calculate the current amount owed? I require compliance with the terms and conditions of this letter within 30 days of your certified receipt, or complete removal from my credit profile, in writing, of your claim. In the event of noncompliance, I reserve the right to file charges and/or compliants with the FTC, and appropriate county, state, and federal authorities. I also hereby reserve my right to take private civil action against your company to recover damages. In addition, the Fair Reporting Act states that while this item is being investigated you must indicate to the bureau that the account is under dispute and will remove/cease from reporting this information to the Credit Reporting Agency until full validation has been completed. I have sent a copy of the request for validation to the three Credit Reporting Agencies to begin their 30-day investigational process concurrent with your investigation
