I canceled service on XXXX XXXX ,2017, so I did not owe them {$17.00}. On XXXX XXXX ,2017 I received a request from I . C Systems coll ection agency requesting I pay the {$17.00} that I did n't actual owe. Is n't it illegal and fraud to try to collect money not owed. it should be a crime. XXXX could ruin my credit. Should they be allowed to use a collection agency before checking whether the debt is owed? The Federal Government needs to make XXXX change their practices and punish them for fraud.

Consumer Complaint: I have contacted this agency through the credit bureaus. I 've made multiple requests for verification and validation of this debt. I have received neither. Also, the debt collector, IC System is not licensed and bonded to collect debt in the state of Florida. However, they have made multiple attempts by mail to collect on this debt. And are reporting negatively on all the major credit bureau reports.

The business is to disclose to me ALL signed documents they have recorded and retained in their files that pertain to this debt. If I.C. Systems does not have any documentation, they need to retract this from my credit file immediately.

Consumer Complaint: I. C. System, Inc. sent a letter on XXXX XXXX 2017. The claim, the creditor is XXXX , the collection ag ency I.C. System, Inc. is claiming to represent XXXX ; claiming we have a balance due of {$100.00}. Because we have a very detailed records retention process, we pulled up every bill paid on the account in question ; all bills were paid on time, the account was closed, and the Creditor sent us a chec k on XXXX f or money they owed us.

Consumer Complaint: A debt collection company, I C Systems Inc., is reporting 33+- collection accounts on my credit reports. I have disputed them with the credit agencies. I C Systems removed some of the reports but has not removed the XXXX. I called I C Systems and requested proof of the debt from them. They told me I needed to request the information via mail. On XXXX XXXX 2017 I sent a letter requesting the proof of debt to I C Systems. I have followed up with I C Systems multiple times and have received no response from them. I have not received the proof of debt and do not believe it is my debt. I am asking you to please contact them on my behalf and have them either send the requested proof or remove the information from my credit reports. It has been more than 60 days since I requested the information. Their lack of response should be enough to have the information removed from my report. I have attached with this complaint copies of my credit report showing the wrong entries as well as my letter to them. I have redacted any personal information. Thank you

I noticed that my scores had dropped substantially. I looked through the reports and show a creditor I did not recognize ( IC Systems ), IC Systems reported a collection for {$67.00} for a company XXXX XXXX . The collection account was opened in XXXX XXXX , 2017 according to XXXX XXXX and XXXX Credit Reports. I am not aware of this debt as I never received any emails, letters, or phone calls regarding this matter. In addition, there are No additional information as to who the original credit is/was, located, and open account date for this {$67.00} debt. I attempted to contact IC Systems however it is the weekend and holiday weekend therefore communication fail. I am afraid to connect with IC Systems as they may be fraudulent and gain access to personal information.
