Consumer Complaint: IC System, a collections agency, has continued to contact me despite the fact that I am not past due on any debt assigned to them. I was incorrectly refered me to them about installment debt that was paid. I have informed IC System of this and demanded that they cease and desist all communications regarding this matter.

Consumer Complaint: On XXXX XXXX, 2018 at XXXX XXXX. a female representative from " IC System '' asked me to verify my address to discuss private information. I could not and did not verify my address, and the disgruntled representative rudely said she would be " sending a letter anyway '' to an address not specified. I have no idea where this letter was sent, or what information was on it, or if it even belonged to me. If my private information is out there, I have a right to know where it was sent. However, I was told a letter would be sent to an unknown address, that I did not verify.

Consumer Complaint: I was hospitalized at the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Hospital in XXXX XXXX, NJ from XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX for approximately 12 days. At the time, I had no insurance coverage. As a XXXX XXXX veteran, medical bill assistance was available to me. Additionally, the hospital had a program that enabled the forgiveness of all related debt for the hospital stay and treatment for which I qualified. Immediately after my hospitalization ended, I applied and was accepted into their medical forgiveness program. Within 120 days of my hospital stay, I received a letter from the hospital notifying me that the entire hospital stay and all related treatment debt had been forgiven. Approximately 9 months after my discharge from the hospital, I received a letter from IC Systems notifying me that I owed approximately {$6500.00} for an unpaid medical bill from the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Hospital of XXXX XXXX, NJ. I immediately called the hospital. During the call, I was told that I had no outstanding or unpaid medical bills. Further, the hospital spokesperson stated that not only was the information about the bill incorrect, but that the hospital did not use IC Systems to collect their delinquent debt. After I completed my inquiry with the hospital, I called IC Systems. Their spokesperson stated that she would look into the validity of the bill, but it was solely my responsibility to satisfactorily resolve the matter. IC Systems never followed up or acknowledged this telephone conversation. On more than one occasion, I have attempted to have this debt removed from my credit report with XXXX and XXXX. The reply from both credit reporting agencies has been that the debt appears to be valid. I noticed today that IC Systems has changed the classification of the debt on the XXXX report to show that they are the lender and I am the " borrower '', as of XX/XX/XXXX. Clearly, that is an incorrect statement. The alleged debt is not valid. I believe that IC System, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, MN is committing a fraud with the goal of collecting a fictitious amount at my expense. In the meantime, my credit score and family are suffering because IC Systems regularly modifies their notes to give the appearance of fresh or renewed collection efforts. At this point, I have been held captive by IC Systems for nearly 4 and half years!!

Consumer Complaint: I moved out of my unit inXX/XX/XXXXXX/XX/XXXX when a friend joined the lease and took over the unit. I paid the wifi bill to XXXX for XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX even after I moved out and my friend assured me that he changed the bill over into his name. I preceded to leave the country and the following year when I came back through town I discovered that he didn't change the bill into his name until XX/XX/XXXX therefore leaving unpaid bills in my name for XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX totaling {$110.00}. As a conservationist I always request paperless statements from companies to lower my carbon footprint. Had XXXX honored my requests, I would have received an email stating that I unpaid bills and notifying me that the bill was in fact not changed over into the new tenants name. I was denied a car loan today because of this small {$110.00} bill that I have no problem paying but I do not want a bill that isn't mine to stay on my credit report for 7 years and affect my score and capacity to buy a car. The collection agency is called ICS.
