Consumer Complaint: I paid off and was assured my XXXX XXXX account was paid and closed after graduating law school and leaving my apartment in early XXXX, when my lease expired. Not only did they not credit my payment to my account, something that has happened before where they credited another persons account with my money, but they continued to charge me for the weeks of XXXX after my lease ended, and even for XXXX and XXXX. Then without even a single written notice or indication that they were submitting this to a debt collection company, and no possible way for me to expect it considering I paid these XXXX, suddenly my credit score drops from XXXX to XXXX. I find this out applying for a credit card, look at my credit score, and cant believe my eyes. They are billing me when its physically impossible for me to be utilizing the utilities provided, and they have simply taken my money and placed it somewhere it doesnt belong, kept my account open which means the new tenant and myself have accounts for the same unit in this apartment complex and XXXX is trying to double bill, and last but not least, they are reporting incorrect information and I plan to sue them if they dont expedite the process of mopping up their mess of sketchy and fraudulent activity.

Consumer Complaint: Collection agency ( CA ) contacted me via phone call stating debt. Debt is not valid as it has been settled, the balance for the debt is misstated on the collection account, and additionally no debt validation has been sent within 30 days of initial contact as required by federal law under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ). Despite these multiple FCRA violations the credit agency has taken action in collecting this frivolous debt by harassing phone calls and reporting a collection account to the credit agencies. These constitute a willful violation of the FCRA.

Consumer Complaint: I've done two disputes for XXXX and XXXX since XXXX. Saying this was not my debt I have no knowledge of this account this account isnt mine. And initially it came off my credit report all the way in XXXX or XXXX. It should not be back they are old debts. That now XXXX wants to put back on my credit as new debt and it's not it's been off my credit for years. And for them to add it back in XXXX is a disgrace knowing that it has been removed and you update the information to make a new account or debt is wrong. Please go back and investigate that these are the same debts previous that came off and should remain off.

Consumer Complaint: I have tried to explain to this debt collector on behalf of XXXX that I never ordered services. I investigated and it was a family member that accessed my information for the purpose of getting cable service. I never authorized this service and was then told that it was paid by family member. Unfortunately, this family member has left the country since late last year and I have no contact with him. I am now stuck with something that is not mine. I need this removed from all credit reports. Thank you for your assistance. XXXX XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: I.C. Systems has been spamming my phone with upwards of 5 calls a day for over a month. They call and ask for my personal information but refused to give me any confirmation about their company ( to confirm it wasn't a scam ) until after nearly a month of harassing phone calls. The 'debt ' in question was paid for on the spot to the original company I ordered a service from ( XXXX , which I do not recommend after this experience ) and has never been 'debt '. this has all persisted despite multiple attempt to prove to the collectors and XXXX that they received payment nearly 2 Years ago when the original event occurred. No evidence has been accepted and I was offered the opportunity for them to review my case if I paid the 'debt ' first, which makes absolutely no sense.

Consumer Complaint: This collection company I C System, located at XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX XXXX, MN XXXX, was sent two debt validation letters on XX/XX/2019. One of the letters was priority and needed a signature. The other letter was certified with tracking. The reason why I sent a debt validation letter is because this collection company continued to report information on my credit report and I never received a letter from the company. I'm not sure where the debt originated from, but to continuously report a debt owed without proof that I am the person who isresponsible is against the law. I'm not sure who this debt was intended for, but I am not the correct person. I sent the letter as a way to get the background information for this debt and to let the company know that until they provide me with the details of this debt showing I am responsible, they need to stop reporting this false inaccurte information. On XX/XX/2019 I C system, received both letters. The letter that required a signature was received by someone named, XXXX XXXX. I also show the certified letter was delivered on XX/XX/2019 at XXXX. On XX/XX/2019 I viewed my credit report and noticed that IC systems continued to report the debt to the credit bureaus, without providing me with the proper documentation. The demand letter also advised IC systems, that they had 30 days from the date on he letter, however i allowed 30 days from the date received for their response, along with all the requested information. The letter also advised that during this period all collection activity was to cease and desist and the company ignored this right. Under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, I have a right to request for valdiation of a debt, that is stated I owe. This is pursuant to 15 USC 1692g Sec 809 ( b ) by the FDCPA. The letter sent also stated that if IC systems continued to report the fraudulent information and invalidated information I would pursue legal action, which I am prepared to do as IC Systems is in violation of the FDCPA.
