Consumer Complaint: I'm unfamiliar with this debt, I tried to discuss it with Convergant Outsourcing and got nowhere. I never received any sort of notice of debt. When looking at XXXX XXXX this account doesn't even show up. I only found out about it when I was looking for a mortgage loan and the lender pulled a credit report then notified me. I talked to Convergant earlier today, XX/XX/XXXX, and we weren't able to reach a conclusion. I was able to get a date of the initial start of this report of XXXX I forget what month.

Consumer Complaint: The convergent outsourcing/XXXX XXXX collections that is on my credit report is not supposed to be on my personal credit. It was a business account. Also the statue of limitation is up ; XXXX charged off my account 1 year before they sent it to collections ; therefore the collection is over 7 years. Yet I still had to pay to get it updated and not even removed. Isnt this illegal? Ive disputed this account 4 to 5 times on XXXX and XXXX, before I finally got an update and ITS still on my credit. I am in the middle of a mortgage approval and Im ready to sue for the inconvenience that this is causing. I would like this collection removed ASAP.

Subissue: Debt was paid
Consumer Complaint: I had an account with XXXX that was sent to a collection agency ( convergent outsourcing ). I made arrangements with the agency to resolve the debt in which they were on autopay so that the payments were made on time. From XX/XX/2021 I paid XXXX and until XX/XX/2021 I made arrangements of XXXX. I ended up paying it off early in XXXX of 2021. After paying off my balance the company went on to charge my card again in XXXX for {$370.00} and in XXXX charged it again. I tried to reach out to them but had no luck by phone. I decided to write an email and was then contacted. I was able to get a reversal on the XXXX payment and was told they would reimburse me for XXXX. To this day I have not received my money.

Consumer Complaint: I have sent a correspondence in response to a letter XXXXonvergent Outsourcing , Inc. sent me on XX/XX/XXXX. Within that letter, they informed me that I owed an " alleged '' debt and that they provided valid proof of verification. This is not so. Pursuant 15 USC 1692c ( a ), a debt collector may not communicate with a consumer in connection with the collection of any debt which Convergent Outsourcing , Inc. clearly stated in the letter they sent me and only the original creditor can validate an " alleged '' debt. Pursuant 15 USC 1692, Convergent Outsourcing , Inc. is fully aware of the laws that fall under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, but fail to comply with the consumer laws by reporting this alleged debt. As a result of this false report, it has caused my credit score to fall making it hard to get approved for lines of credit which is defamation of character. These false reports harm my reputation with lenders and my credit worthiness. Convergent Outsourcing , Inc. has received my correspondence and supporting documents on XX/XX/XXXX.
