Issue: Attempts to collect debt not owed
Subissue: Debt is not yours
Consumer Complaint: On X/XX/2017 Convergent Outsourcing Solutions included a derogatory debt on my credit report without proper debt validation which was requested on XXXX XXXX, 2017. I have no contract with Convergent to collect debt from me. They have called my job repeatedly at XXXX and have put me in jeopardy of losing my job even after I have asked for debt validation. Which is a signed contract and not a statement telling me how much I owe them. This company negative reporting is having a negative impact on my credit worthiness being that it is the only negative reporting on my report.

Consumer Complaint: I had a XXXX XXXX account that was paid through AUTO PAY DEBIT each month, and when I switched to another company, I personally returned all the equipment to the office, had a XXXX balance at that time. Then several years later they ERRONEOUSLY employed a Collection Agency, XXXX XXXX/XXXX, XXXX. to say I owed a debt. Last year they put this false information in my XXXX Credit Bureau. I disputed the charge, XXXX investigated, the company never was able to document I owed anything, complied and they REMOVED IT FROM MY CREDIT REPORT. Now, today, again, they submitted the same phony charge to my XXXX Credit Report, which brought down my score 24 points when I have excellent credit. So, again, I filed a dispute, but I also felt compelled after months of dealing with this scam agency on the XXXX report, now again with XXXX, it required to file this complaint, with the hope that these unscrupulous scam collection agencies are fined or curtailed from arbitrarily submitting false information to credit reports ; especially multiple or recurring times after being commanded to remove it previously.

Consumer Complaint: I checked my credit report to find convergent outsourcing having a collections account on 2 of my bureau reports ( XXXX and XXXX ) for XXXX. I sent a certified letter ( attached below ) on XX/XX/XXXX asking them to provide me with information such as a signed contract bearing my signature that showed I owed this debt of {$120.00} which appears on my credit report. The letter was signed for on XX/XX/XXXX and eventually was marked as disputed on the credit reports within the 31 days. However ; I have not heard one thing from the company or received anything showing proof that this debt is mine. I sent another certified letter on XX/XX/XXXX ( attached below ) as a good will faith to clear up this matter and still til this day on XX/XX/XXXX have not heard one thing from this company or received anything that shows I owe this debt being reported on two of my credit bureau reports ( XXXX and XXXX ) This is incomplete and inaccurate information being reported by them and is damaging to my credit.

Consumer Complaint: For the past 3 years, I have been receiving threats via phone call about how they are going to purposely damage my credit. I explained to them that the debt is not mine and is incorrect. They continue to call and send me emails trying to intimidate me and threaten me that will that they will garnish my pay check, sue me and will charge me the debt if they ever got a hand on credit card information. They also called my employer and embarrassed me in front of my work place and were making threatening calls to me at my job. I disputed the collection charge from all 3 credit bureaus but have not find any resolutions for the harassment and incorrect debt collection. The incorrect debt collection amount is for {$370.00}.
