Consumer Complaint: convergent is still reporting on my credit report after I have send them certified letter along with several complaints and they have refused to delete this account from my credit report. they have refused to comply and listing an unverified item on my credit report in violation of Federal Law. They are required under the FCRA to have a copy of the original creditors documentation on file to verify that this information is mine and correct. I informed convergent that as per FTC opinion letter from XXXX XXXX XXXX you should be aware that a printout of a bill or itemized document does not constitute verification. Therefore they have not provided me a copy of ANY original documentation required under Section 609 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ) & Section 611 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ) ( a consumer contract with my signature on it ) and Section 611 ( 5 ) ( A ) of the FCRA you are required to " ... ... promptly DELETE all information which can not be verified. '' ( Section 617 )

I have called them on these dates:XX/XX/XXXX, spoke with XXXX XXXX,XX/XX/XXXX, spoke with XXXX XXXX/XX/XX/XXXX, spoke with XXXX XXXX & XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX spoke with XXXX XXXXXX/XX/XXXX spike with XXXX XXXX, XXXX spoke with XXXX XXXX XXXX they have all told me that I will be receiving my receipt for my.settlement payment of {$700.00}. To date I have receuved nothing but a bill for the remaining balance from XXXX XXXX ( which was their client ), that was the bill I owed to XXXX XXXX. All I keep getting is the runaround every time I call. I have also called XXXX XXXX and again I am getting no where. I 've been told by Convergent that the letter has been expedited and emailed to me. Every time I call I am being told give it 7 more business days. Can you PLEASE help me.

I researched the phone number to XXXX XXXX so I sent them a validation letter on XX/XX/XXXX. I received their " verification '' letter on XX/XX/XXXX. It was dated XX/XX/XXXX and stated that the debt was valid and attached verification of the debt. The attached verification shows a forwarded balance, my name, and an account number. I remember disputing this alleged XXXX debt back on XX/XX/XXXX, but it was with a different company, XXXX XXXX XXXX. I have my credit reports from XX/XX/XXXX in which I marked when I disputed it on XX/XX/XXXX. Then I have another credit report where I marked it that it was removed on XX/XX/XXXX. I have an XX/XX/XXXX XXXX report and that account is no longer on there, as it was removed in XX/XX/XXXX. When the alleged debt was on my XX/XX/XXXX credit report, it showed that the " account is scheduled to continue on record until XX/XX/XXXX. ''
