Consumer Complaint: I sent a debt validation letter to XXXX XXXX for a second time demanding validation of this debt. The original creditor is XXXX and the account was opened in Pennsylvania. I have never had a residence in Pennsylvania nor have I, or anyone that I know, ever resided at the address on the bill that the collection agency has sent me. I have never been associated with any of the phone numbers listed on the bill either. I also have never had cell service with XXXX. The collection agency keeps sending me copies of bills and to my knowledge, that is not an acceptable form of validation. I believe this account was opened in my name without my knowledge or permission. I am in the process of attempting to purchase my first home and need this issue resolved ASAP.

Consumer Complaint: In XX/XX/XXXX, I received a copy of my credit report. I noticed that XXXX XXXX had placed an entry on my report and had not previously notified me that they were allegedly attempting to collect a debt from me. This company did not send a dunning letter prior to placing the entry on my credit report. This is a direct violation of my consumer rights. Additionally, it did not allow me the 30 days as mandated by consumer law to dispute the validity of their inaccurate entry. To that end, I disputed this entry to the credit bureaus in XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX, XXXX and XXXX alike stated the account was verified. I followed up with this company disputing the entry they placed on my credit reports. In my most recent attempt at researching this alleged debt, I sent a dispute dated XX/XX/XXXX to Convergent. In this dispute, I requested that Convergent provide an agreement that states their authority to collect on this alleged debt, agreement with signature of the alleged debtor wherin he/she agreed to pay the creditor, alleged account number, original delinquency date, date this alleged debt became payable, verification that this debt was assigned or sold to collector, complete accounting of the alleged debt and name and address of the bonding agent for this collection agency in case legal action becomes necessary. Convergent failed to deliver the information, yet they continue to violate my consumer rights with the reporting of this entry. Convergent 's response provided mere screenshots of information that could be very well manipulated and falsely created. Also, the screenshots provide no validation to the alleged debt being mine. This item should be DELETED immediately from my reports.

Consumer Complaint: This complaint is in regards to a collection account appearing on my credit report from XXXX XXXX. This company has no legal right to report this " collection '' account on my reports because this account is still owned and serviced by XXXX, the original servicer. I have contacted XXXX and they have confirmed to me in writing that they still own and actively service this account and that I may payments directly to them. I have no contract with XXXX XXXX and so they are violating my rights and credit reporting laws by reporting a collection in their name to my credit report. This account still remains with XXXX and was not sold to Convergent as confirmed by XXXX themselves. I have attached a transcript of my conversation with a XXXX representative with them confirming as such. This collection account should be deleted immediately from my credit report.

Consumer Complaint: I called Convergent formerly XXXX XXXX due to them.still reporting an active account in dispute even though the dispute has been resolved. I have been trying to get a mortgage in which you can not have active disputes in some cases. I received confirmation from all 3 credit bureaus that the dispute had been resolved on their end. However when my credit pulled the dispute is still.reporting on there. The credit bureaus sent me a copy of my report showing me that it was resolved on their end and that I would need to contact the collections agency directly and request for them to remove that statement from my report since the dispute had been completed. Convergent told me that they were not going to remove that statement until I satisfied my debt with them and they the active dispute would remain on my credit. I let them know that I would be contacting the cfpb about this and he stated that he would have to do more research but he wasn't going to provide me with any more information on the account. They started all calls are recorded so they should have the phone call available for review as well.

This notification is a formal demand that your shady collection agency remove the collection account from all three major credit reporting agencies immediately. Your collection agency was out to intentionally damage my good credit standing only to seek revenge against me for cancelling my service with shady XXXX XXXX. Your shady collection operation has been threatening me to coerce me into making small {$20.00} payments to the bogus account causing me extreme harm. If your shady collection agency fails to remove the collection account that was intentionally intended to damage my credit standing immediately, this consumer complaint is evidence that I will seek justice against your shady operations by filing a lawsuit against defendants XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX in the XXXX XXXX County Superior Court requesting a jury trial to bring your shady operations to justice. I was never given a copy of the bogus contract. I never authorized the bogus contract. Please provide me a copy of the contract when your shady collection agency response to my consumer complaint. I question the authenticity of my signature on the bogus contract. I would like for your shady collection operation to allow my FBI forensic expert access to the original contract so my expert can authenticate it. Please notify me in writing of a good day and time when my expert can authenticate the original contract. I am going to tell your shady collection operation this for the last time - I do NOT agree with the outstanding balance. I have disputed the bogus balance many times in the past which went ignored. However, to avoid litigation cost and attorney fees I will agree to pay the bogus {$180.00} remaining balance ONLY if your shady collection agency send me a deletion letter agreeing to remove the bogus collection account from all 3 major credit reporting agencies. Once I receive the deletion letter I will call in the payment to satisfy the bogus balance. I cancelled my account with XXXX XXXX because of the terrible service, the questionable contract, and the shady billing scam spins. When I cancelled my account with XXXX XXXX the shady operation billing department immediately debited my bank account in the amount of {$180.00} and then NEVER sent me a bill for the remaining balance, instead, the shady operation was out to quietly seek revenge against me for cancelling the terrible service by intentionally damaging my good credit standing attempting to make it impossible for me to seek honest good service else where. These kind of operation contract collection scams printed by crooked lawyers are only designed to seek revenge against victims for cancelling services, which is truly designed to cause victims extreme harm. Its time the FBI kicks in the incompetent collection skinny swamp doors to drain the smelly collection agency swamp. Thank you for your cooperation and I await your prompt response. Please be advised that this is not a refusal to pay, but a notice sent pursuant to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, 15 USC 1692g Sec. 809 { b } that your claim is disputed and validation is requested. This is NOT a request for verification or proof of my mailing address, but a request for VALIDATION made pursuant to the above named Title and Section. Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX- is VERY AGRESSIVELY, and TOO AGRESSIVELY attempting to collect on the debt that is not mine in first place. I contacted XXXX in XXXX as soon as I saw this collection on my credit report. XXXX could NOT find any negative accounts in my name.. I still have my phone active and in current status with them ... In XXXX I disputed this collection with convergent, the dispute was within 30 days of them notifying me and posting this collection on my credit report. Per Fair collections practices act I disputed this account within statutes of limitations and they should have removed it form my credit report immediately, but they ignored all of my letters and keep aggressively calling me on my cell, house, work and now at my parents house ... this is outrageous and should not be allowed. please help me stop these XXXX!!! I am also filing an official complaint with FTC I spoke with a representative who took all the information and I have sent all supporting documentation and recorded phone calls with threats and harrasments and their agents acting as law inforcement!!!
