Consumer Complaint: Hello I keep getting harassed by Convergent loan company about money I owed to XXXX which was the creditor which was fraud and never authorized by me which XXXX knows and should have in there notes. So I am unsure why this is still on my credit report or even going on. I have no problem explaining the situation. These collection agency 's keep calling up my phone and keep sending me letters. Under the fair credit act I asked them to show me proof I really did anything which I know they can not since It was fraud and I never signed over anything. I just want this deleted from my file on XXXX, XXXX, XXXX and any other companies. Last year I had spoke to XXXX a few times to try and resolve this whole thing they had mentioned something about money from an XXXX there was a bunch of transactions and my XXXX I had closed to avoid this from growing. XXXX was going to reverse all money to XXXX account this way she would owe the money. I believe it was her son hacked into my file and tried to pay his mother with XXXX. I do not feel responsible In anyway as this was fraud and not authorized by me. I keep getting these settlement letters but there is nothing for me to settle as I do not owe XXXX XXXX so I hope you guys can help resolve the matter and the people who owe the money. If anyway I can help I would be more than happy to do so but this is 100 % fraud. I just want the harassment to stop.

Consumer Complaint: I have disputed this item with the credit reporting agency and they reported you confirmed the account as valid. I honestly do not believe to ever have any relationship with this collection agency or original creditor. Also, there are several inaccuracies with this account the way it's reporting and that's a total violation of FCRA and FDCPA laws and regulations. In a good faith effort to resolve the matter amicably, I must demand proof of this debt, specifically the alleged contract or other instrument bearing my signature, as well as proof of your authority in this matter. Absent such proof, you must correct any erroneous reports of this past debt as mine. I am writing to request that you please provide the following information : 1. Please evidence your authorization under 15 USC 1692 ( e ) and 15 USC 1692 ( f ) in this alleged matter. 2. What is your authorization of law for your collection of information? 3. What is your authorization of law for your collection of this alleged debt? 4. Please evidence your authorization to do business or operate in this state. 5. Please evidence proof of the alleged debt, including the alleged contract or other instrument bearing my signature. 6. Please provide a complete account history, including any charges added for collection activity.

Consumer Complaint: I have asked this company to send me directly, proof of me owing the large debt that they claim that I do. Proof, such as a contract. I was sent a bill, which I do not recognize, which is definitely not adequate proof of a debt owed. I have asked them to delete this account from my credit reports if they are unable to adequately verify this debt, as they are unfairly and illegally infringing upon my consumer rights!!! They have not only failed to deliver the adequate proof, but have also ignored my request to have this account deleted, due to them not adequately verifying the claimed debt. This is illegal!! Please deliver the adequate proof, or remove this item from my credit report and cease attempting to collect any money from me!! Thank you.

Consumer Complaint: After checking My credit report in mid 2018, I noticed that convergent outsourcing had a negative mark on my credit report for a XXXX cell phone bill. Convergent never initiated contact with me either by phone email or regular postal mail. After checking my credit file I spoke to convergent outsourcing. They told me That as long as I paid the bill in full by a certain date that all negative marks on or credit reporting agency credit files will be completely deleted. They deleted the file from one credit reporting agency credit file, however they failed to delete from the others.

Consumer Complaint: An account on my credit report is reporting a collection that is inaccurate. The collection company is trying to report the collection as being newer than it really is. I Received a response from my dispute letter on XX/XX/XXXX from the collection company in which they validated the debt as accurate. Then I tried disputing this with the credit reporting agency XXXX three times. Letters sent certified on XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX. They have not sent a response at all.

Consumer Complaint: Convergent Outsourcing has contacted me several times by phone and by mail. They have also tried to contact my elderly mother looking for me. In XX/XX/XXXX, my credit score declined dramatically due to Convergent putting a negative inquiry on my credit report with XXXX. This charge is for a XXXX bill that my ex-husband owes. This specific debt is cited in our divorce decree entered in XX/XX/XXXX as solely his. I disputed Convergent 's attempt to ruin my excellent credit score rating by going through their dispute process and sent a copy of the divorce decree. Per their process, XXXX has shared that information with Convergent. XXXX removed the item from my credit report finding that this debt does not belong to me. On XX/XX/XXXX, Convergent sent me a notice saying that they believe this debt is still valid.

Consumer Complaint: In XXXX of 2016 I moved out of my apartment and across town to another complex With the move I signed up with a new electricity provider and called to cancel my service with XXXX XXXX XXXX. The following month I was charged for another month of service from XXXX XXXX at the old address and when I called them to ask about it they told me they did not disconnect the power and my best option was to put a stop payment on the extra month. I did so and now a debt of {$200.00} is with the collection agency Convergent Outsourcing Inc. I have tried explaining my position and even settling the debt to clear my credit report to no avail. I have never missed a payment on anything and before this incident my credit score was nearing 800. I wish I had documentation to help my argument but I was just a XXXX college kid at the time and didn't think my credit would get ruined by this.

Consumer Complaint: Creditor : XXXX Collection Agency : Convergent Outsourcing In XXXX I had an account with XXXX. I moved outside of their coverage area. Per my agreement, Early Termination Fees were supposed to have been waived. To my surprise, a XXXX bill was turned over to a collection agency ( Convergent Outsourcing ) who claimed the fees were not waived, they could not waive the fees that should have been previously dismissed by XXXX. This left me with an unpaid balance of {$850.00} as of XX/XX/XXXX. This already illegal debt should be 5 years old at this point. To make matters worse, the same creditor re-aged this debt as a XXXX debt, making this look more recent. This has dramatically lowered my credit score and is causing financial hardship. I attempted to dispute this several times in early XXXX, through XXXX. All disputes were denied, and again making this look like recent negative activity. Please help. Thank you.
