Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/2019 - I sent a certified letter disputing the account XX/XX/2019 - I received a letter from Convergent Outsourcing with a bill that they claimed I owed {$140.00}. The amount {$140.00} was not an accurate amount according to the bill they provided. XX/XX/2019 - Convergent Outsourcing received my letter of response stating that by providing a bill was not considered proof per FDCPA Section 809 ( b ) FTC opinion letter XXXX from XXXX XX/XX/2019 - I receive another the exact same letter as before, claiming that the debt is valid but have yet to provide any proof of my signature or anything. And there is still inconsistency and inaccuracy on the amounts owed. They have failed to provide any proof of the debt owed besides a bill with no valid signatures or proof.

Issue: Written notification about debt
Subissue: Didn't receive enough information to verify debt
Consumer Complaint: I sent this company several letters asking them to verify this debt or remove it from my account. What they sent me back was just a letter with itemized charges that I allegedly owed. Theres no signed contract with my name or anything. That does not meet the federal trade Commissions guidelines of what constitutes proper debt validation! You should also be aware that reporting such invalidated information to major credit bureaus might constitute defamation of character, as the negative marks on my credit report harm my credit and prevent me from enjoying all the benefits of good credit. In addition, the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) does not allow the inaccurate reporting of information on my credit report and under this act.

Consumer Complaint: I began to review my credit earlier this year and noticed several inaccuracies. Letters to all bureaus were mailed approximately around XX/XX/2019. Follow up letters were then mailed approximately around XX/XX/2019. Out of an abundance of concern, I requested that VALIDATION around XX/XX/2019 in accordance to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act be provided to me timely for my personal and legal review. However, after two separate requests made timely for this, the company has failed to provide me with this validation. The company not only denies me of my rights as a consumer under this act, they also continue to employ illegal practices, reporting tactics to bureaus, and harassment methods via phone and letter. I began to review my credit earlier this year and noticed several inaccuracies. Out of an abundance of concern, I requested that VALIDATION in accordance to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act be provided to me timely for my personal and legal review. This account was deleted from my credit reports only to be sold to another company and reported again as a new debt. They have YET TO PROVIDE ME WITH VALIDATION OF DEBT IN ACCORDANCE TO THE LAW. THEY ALSO HAVE YET TO DELETE THIS FROM MY CREDIT REPORT.

Consumer Complaint: 2 Separate Apartment complexes XXXX in XXXX Colorado and XXXX XXXX in XXXX Colorado reported evictions under my name. I have never been evicted from any property nor do I have any balances. On my credit report I have XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX which state after 2 years should no longer show ... I lived at these apartments XX/XX/XXXX/XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX/XX/XX/XXXX ... I have submitted information from both apartments and court documents stating there were no evictions or unpaid balances. These are hard inquires on my credit and need to be removed as well as whatever evictions are coming up under my name-This information is false. This has put me at risk for a current property whom I am trying to lease through. After looking at my credit report there are so many issues that I need help resolving. I have paid off all my collection accounts in full and have requested receipts for the payments.Never received anything.XXXX XXXX, CONVERGENT OUTSOURCING, XXXX and XXXX XXXX NEVER SENT PAYMENT IN FULL RECEIPTS NOR REMOVED AND CLOSED THE ITEMS PAID.I was told the collection accounts would be not only closed but removed from my credit and marked as paid in full. That has yet to be done also. I have student loan hits from XX/XX/XXXX that are still coming up and I just paid {$12000.00} to XXXX XXXX to take care of almost 3 of the Private Student loans I have. I have utilized my XXXX XXXX and filed disputes but I still see issues and my score has barley raised. I dont know what else to do. I have Supporting Documents I will include as far as the evictions go. I can get bank statements for ALL collections accounts that have been paid in full and the XXXX XXXX payments or whatever I need to do to provide proof these items have been paid. Also most calls say recorded so ALL CALLS made to these companies should be available to replay for proof of what was done and said would be done.

Consumer Complaint: I was with XXXX for over 10 years but because they were charging me almost {$200.00} a month, I decided to switch to XXXX XXXX XXXX. I made the switch in XXXX of 2018 and I owed them an equipment balance of about {$200.00}. I am college student who finds it hard at times to afford gas but I was saving up to pay off that balance. Early this year, I received notification that the balance had gone up to a whopping {$650.00} which is more than double the amount I was going to pay. Once this hit my credit about two months ago, my score dropped significantly. I reached out to the company and not only were they rude but they told me I would have to pay the complete balance then and there. They also told me that they would not provide written proof that the debt was paid off which makes absolutely no sense.
