Consumer Complaint: Convergent Outsourcing Inc. is reporting to all three credit bureaus that I owe them a balance of {$1300.00}. I never engaged in any business affairs with Convergent Outsourcing Inc . I disputed it previously and both the company and the credit bureaus never provided me with a signed contract with Convergent Outsourcing Inc. with my signature. A collection bill is not a validation of debt and I have a right to be provided with proof of my direct business affairs with them.

Consumer Complaint: Convergent Outsourcing Inc. has placed a collections account on my credit record. After disputing through XXXX I received a letter from Convergent indicating the " debt is valid, attached is verification of debt ''. The attachment was a bill to a XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, TX XXXX from XXXX XXXX XXXX. This is NOT my account and needs to be removed from my credit bureau file. I have attached the documents that Convergent sent me to verify debt.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I received a collection letter from a XXXX Agency, giving me 60 days to respond to a {$210.00} past due balance. This was the first Notice i received from XXXX trying to collect a debt. One week later on XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX reported the collections to XXXX, dropping my credit score 60 points. The letter specifically stated, i had 60 days to respond, and yet, XXXX immediately placed it on my credit report, not giving me enough time to pay or respond. I called XXXX and asked them to delete from my credit report and I'll pay immediately. I was rudely treated, and they responded nasty to me. " It's your problem, you should pay your bills on time and XXXX will not remove this. '' I said, i would leave XXXX XXXX other services, such as FIOS and My wife 's XXXX account, they said, " We don't care, we don't want customers like you. '' XXXX is treating me unfairly! They send me a collections notice on XX/XX/XXXX and report to the credit agency a week later. This is not part of the Fair Credit Act, This is verbal abuse, and abuse of credit reporting! I will pay XXXX in full, but they should delete it, because they gave me 60 day notice to pay. ( Letter from Agency is attached )

Consumer Complaint: Convergent outsourcing has tried contacting me to collect {$710.00} they claim I owe to XXXX. I have expressed to them in the past I do not wish to be contacted with this matter and my willingness to pay for a deletion off my credit report. Harassing phone calls have taken place at my place of employment after expressing I do not wish to be contacted, much less at work after hours. Not sure how they got my work number, but I no longer wish to be contacted and demand my account be removed and deleted from report for the pain and suffering this has caused in my place of employment. If Convergent Outsourcing Inc. continues this action I will be filing disputes, complaints with XXXX, Federal Trade Commission, and XXXX XXXX office ( attorney general ). Their collection practices are illegal and unethical!

Issue: Attempts to collect debt not owed
Subissue: Debt is not yours
Consumer Complaint: I received a letter from Convergent Outstanding Inc. saying I owe {$5500.00} to XXXX XXXX. I first heard this a year ago on one of my credit reports, I fought it and it was removed, I do not know about the other credit reports as I do not use credit often. I have NEVER used XXXX for anything, this is not my debt. When I called XXXX they told me the bill came from XXXX XXXX, a company that does not even operate in my state, but they refused to send me any letters as proof of where this debt came from. When they never replied, I assumed this was over with. But now I have this debt company trying to sue me for money I never owed. How do I make this go away?

Consumer Complaint: I was charged for a piece of equipment from my former cell phone company that I returned via XXXX. I received a bill for the piece of equipment on XX/XX/19 and contacted the company advising that I would be returning the equipment that weekend and to please note my account. I was told that my account would be noted and that my account would be credited to reflect a XXXX balance when the equipment was received. The equipment was received by XXXX on XX/XX/19 at XXXX XXXX I received a letter from a debt collection agency dated XX/XX/19. This debt was not even 30 days old and was turned over to collections and now the original cell phone company AND the collection company fail and refuse to reflect a XXXX balance on my account although they HAVE received the equipment and confirm that they have received the equipment. This should NEVER have been turned over to collection as the alleged debt was NOT in excess of 30 days in arrears AND I had already contacted XXXX and advised that the equipment would be returned. In fact, XXXX is the one who provided the XXXX shipping label.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I canceled my Internet service with XXXX and physically returned the router to their office location in XXXX XXXX, IL. The account was paid in full, and the agent on the phone and at the store assured me that no money was owed. On or about XX/XX/XXXX, I received a " disconnection notice '' and bill for {$350.00}. I filed a complaint with the XXXX. XXXX responded by stating the matter was resolved and the account reflected a XXXX balance. XXXX also stated that they reached out to the collections agency ( Convergent Outsourcing ) to delete the collections account on XX/XX/XXXX. However, on the same date, the collections agency added another collections account for the same XXXX account on my credit reports. I received a letter from the collection agency on or about XX/XX/XXXX. They stated in their letter that they did not have this collection file. To compound this matter further, on XX/XX/XXXX, the collections agency added a second collections account to my credit files. There are now TWO instances of collections accounts for the same XXXX account from Convergent Outsourcing. XXXX is not returning my phone calls or emails.
