Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX and their collection company, Convergent Outsourcing continue to contact me regarding account XXXX with a balance of {$530.00}. This account does not belong to me ; it was opened as a result of identity theft. I have already contacted XXXX XXXX and Convergent Outsourcing, but this account still has not been removed from my credit report. I never opened this account. The bill was sent to an address that I have never been affiliated with nor have I lived at the address. I have sent multiple copies of my ID theft affadavit and they still continue to harrass me about the debt that I do not owe.

Consumer Complaint: This company has no legal authority to collect this account. They have made an illegal entry and gained access to my credit report for money that is not due and paid in full, months ago to the principal account holder. This amounts to an attempt to illegally collect money that is not due. I call that extortion. This company has no assignment of claim and therefore no standing to collect anything. This company has gained access to my credit report under fraudulent pretext. I have a 'credit alert '' system in place and on XX/XX/2019, I was advised of this illegal action by that alert system. The company has made no effort to contact me over this so I wrote them a letter, as this is the weekend. A few months ago I filed a complaint with this agency over this issue and XXXX. Consumer Complaint: XXXX, I found a XXXX XXXX account in collection on my credit reports. This is not my account. It was opened at an address that I have never resided, or know anyone who ever resided there. I contacted the Convergent which is the collection agency XXXX XXXX used to advise them of fraud and next steps. I contacted XXXX, XXXX and XXXX to dispute the collection amount and the account. XX/XX/2019 I filed an identity theft report with FTC. Convergent agent told me I would receive a statement in the mail of the charges and I could use said statement to file a police report of identity theft. XX/XX/XXXX, I filed an Identity theft claim on FTC Website. On XX/XX/2019, I received a statement from Convergent statement that XXXX did not accept my dispute and fraud claim. XX/XX/XXXX, I sent a letter to XXXX to advising them of the fraud.

Consumer Complaint: Hello, This happened multiple times with XXXX. They send a debt collection even when the account has been closed. I have called them and made sure my account had no balance before closing the account. I then received a debt collection notice. I disputed the collection from an agency and it was approved with XXXX. XXXX then sent the collection to another agency and reported it on XXXX this time. I went in one of their stores and made sure I had no previous balance. However, XXXX keeps sending debt collections. I have spoken with other past customers and apparently it is a running problem with them. They steal from people. I attached the past dispute I had resolved, and again I have a new one years after. I do not even have XXXX services.
