Consumer Complaint: I purchased a belt from Kohls in XXXX and was told that if I signed up for a Kohls card I would receive a discount on the product. When I signed up I scanned my debit card multiple times and was under the impression that I paid for the product with my own money. I was never alerted that I had paid with the Kohls card until a late balance was due. I never received the card and had no way to log in and pay it off regardless.

Consumer Complaint: Trip Delay insurance not processed after 50 days from filing date and no answers to emails. As part of the benefits advertised with my credit card, there was travel insurance. During holiday season there was a big storm in XXXX area which prevented my wife and I from traveling. I called the credit card and they said it includes trip delay and to keep my receipts for the claim. The trip delay due to weather was on XXXX XXXX XXXX We had to stay another two days until XX/XX/XXXX in XXXX. I filed a claim ( Nr : XXXX ) on XXXX XXXX for a total of XXXX USD that included two nights of hotel and meals. It is supposed to take 5 business days and up until Today it has not been processed. The last two emails I have sent to eclaimsline email address were not responded.

Consumer Complaint: Contrary to previous policy, CapitalOne no longer provides their customer service agents the ability to refund excessive annual fees and related charges for cards that are paid off and not used for an extended period of time. I have had my CapitalOne card ending in XXXX for many years, always maintained in good standing. I have not used the card for many months, therefore I am not enjoying any " what's in your wallet? '' cash back benefits ; so, an excessive annual fee ( {$59.00} ) is inappropriate.

CapOne has previously given me XXXX points when I achieved a lower level of spend, leaving XXXX points in dispute. CapOne has written me that my total charges within the year were only {$17000.00}, short of the required {$20000.00} spend. By my note dated XXXX XXXX XXXX, I responded enclosing copies of the relevant billing statements as follows : XXXX XXXX XXXX {$1800.00} ; XX/XX/XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX {$4600.00} ; XXXX XXXX XXXX, {$5200.00} ; XX/XX/XXXX, {$1500.00} ; XX/XX/XXXX, {$250.00} ; XXXX XXXX XXXX {$1700.00} ; XXXX XXXX XXXX {$3500.00}, and XXXX XXXX XXXX {$2400.00}, equals a total of {$21000.00} within the year. Consumer Complaint: While working abroad for meany years, I was unable to use my Capital One Visa, since I was mostly using foreign currency. I also used my other credit cards. My Capital One Account was in good standing. Capital One sent a letter to my U.S. address saying my account would be closed on XXXX XXXX XXXX due to dormant status. My parents had been traveling, and didn't receive the letter until after they returned in late XXXX, and notified me of it. I called Capital One on XX/XX/, saying I didn't wish to have my account closed, as I have almost XXXX reward miles on the card. Capital One said they can not re-open my account. I asked to at least allow me to redeem my miles, because I have had that account for almost 20 years, accumulating all those miles. They refused.

Consumer Complaint: I have been hit by XXXX hardships. I have managed to maintain my payments. I got a minor " covid relief '' payment reduction breifly in XXXX from them. I then entered a credit payment program with XXXX XXXX XXXX for other cards I had. I tried to enroll this account as well and was denied. They stated that I couldn't enroll in another program because I had already received help from them, which had already ended. I was told I had to wait 1 year from the time that their relief program ended to enroll in another program. Over a year had passed and someone at the company told me it had been over a year and I should try again. I tried again and was denied. I also tried to have my XXXX lowered and was denied. When I spoke to a supervisor about it they told me I still couldn't enroll the account in my debt program with my XXXX XXXX XXXX program because of the very short, and limited help I received from them for " covid relief '' and that they couldn't tell me when the account would be eligible again. All I am trying to do is pay them back. I have no job and haven't worked for over 3 years. I was on unemployment and then XXXX. Now I have no income at all. I need help and they are taking advantage of me using a loophole to deny me the help I need.

Consumer Complaint: Greetings my complaint is driven by Capital One lack of respect do to me, As a Consumer, I have rights so I choose to exercise them. I contacted Capital One to inform them of the inaccurate reporting of my private information and how continuing of such reporting would be against consumer law and an act of fraud as I will prove to you also There are XXXX alleged debts that they are reporting on my consumer profile both are Collections according to my XXXX Profile, I have disputed these accounts numerous times with XXXX and they refuse to Delete them, they always give me the same answer Verified, Only I can Verifiey something. Now Only on my XXXX profile are these accounts being reported I disputed them with a couple others reporting agencies like XXXX and XXXX XXXX and they deleted them ( no problem!!! ) so after so many failed attempts I reached out to Capital One on the XX/XX/2023 which I will attach ( Now that alone should be enough reason to show that the information is indeed inaccurate because the same information is not being reported across all the other third-party reporting consumer agencies, and only 100 % accurate information can be reported according to consumer law that's grounds for deletion, Also according to 15 USC 1681A ( 2 ) ( a ) ( i ) *Transations are not to be used on a consumer report at all* ( 2 ) Exclusions.Except as provided in paragraph ( 3 ), the term consumer report does not include ( A ) subject to section 1681s3 of this title, any ( i ) report containing information solely as to transactions or experiences between the consumer and the person making the report ; According to 15 U.S. 1681 ( e ) income is not included in a consumer report so if income is not part of a consumer report and a charge-off/closed account has been reported it is fraudulent and deeming it illegal because they filled a XXXX and did not inform me. They never sent me a XXXX form to inform me that the alleged debt was canceled and they never sent my XXXX so I could file this income on my upcoming taxes Both alleged debts are as stated XXXX is {$4400.00} and the other one is at {$3900.00} which was originally {$3000.00} and they taxed {$900.00} on it. I filed Identity theft to that charged account because my CC was unlawfully used and they refused to do anything about that and I filed a complaint with XXXX against them and identity theft with identity-theft.gov, when this occurred last year by Consumer law a Creditor can not report an identity-theft account as a Charge-Off on a Consumer report and once again if they canceled the debt by way of Charge-Off then they owe me a XXXX for that alleged debt too. My rights have been abused and misused by both companies Capital One and XXXX for due process by law I need these accounts deleted and Cease and Desist from any and all future
