Subissue: Problem with cash advances
Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023 I went into the Wells Fargo Bank in XXXX WA, I requested a cash advance in the amount of {$5000.00} against my XXXX XXXX. I was informed it was declined by Wells Fargo and received no monies. I went home to call XXXX to inquiry why it was declined, XXXX had informed me that the cash advance had been processed and Wells Fargo had received the money. I went back to Wells Fargo, they claim they never received any monies, however my XXXX statement shows the {$5000.00} cash advance and the cash advance fee had been charged. I was assured by Wells Fargo it was given to their escalation team and that I would be contacted within 2 business days, I have received no call by escalation team and do not have my {$5000.00} it is my understanding the 48 hour contact is a requirement by law, I am being charged interest and fees for monies I have not received.

Issue: Problem caused by your funds being low
Subissue: Overdrafts and overdraft fees
Consumer Complaint: I have complained numerous times to Wells Fargo about charging me overdraft fees when my account still had money in the account but I still got charged. I gave up after awhile because I thought I couldnt do anything and I was sick of always having to call in each time it happened. I should be paid back all the inappropriate fees I was charged for still having money in my account.

Consumer Complaint: For 3 to 4 years ( from XXXX to XXXX or so ), I received recurring emails from an unknown anti-virus company. The strangest part of viewing the email was the last four digits of my Wells Fargo credit and the Wells Fargo logo was indicated on the Payment Due portion of the notice. I didnt think it was official and ignored it. However, my card was subsequently charged for hundreds of dollars. I immediately requested a cancellation through the company and was denied. I asked how was my information retrieved. I never received a straight-forward answer. However, I was told a refund was not possible sense the grace period had expired. I contacted Wells Fargo. This is where the run around and transfer rollercoaster began. I eventually received a new card. However, the next email had the new number ( last four digits ) and Wells Fargo logo. Of course now Im thinking Wells Fargo is behind this. This time I called the company early, requested cancellation verbally and replied to the email with a cancellation. I contacted Wells Fargo again and received almost the exact run around as the previous year. So sad so frustrating! I feared I would be charged again. I was! Now I knew Wells Fargo was behind this act. I finally canceled the card. I never want another Wells Fargo account.

Consumer Complaint: Foreclosed on directly after a medical event as I fell behind on payments. Asked what I could do to get back current? They wanted to a loan modification but then never contacted me back. Was told do not send payments on as it would negatively affect the loan modification. Next thing I knew it was an eviction notice and house was being foreclosed on. Entire process went down within 2 months.

Consumer Complaint: Hello, I am a former customer of Wells Fargo Bank Mortgages and I received an email on XX/XX/2022 from CFPB regarding the class action lawsuit with Wells Fargo Bank Mortgages regarding those who were wrongfully foreclosed or illegally denied modifications. It advised that if I am eligible I do not have to take any action and the company will notify me, well they have not. I experienced these issues with them which forced me to retain legal counsel. I would like to have been a claimant in the lawsuit and receive any compensation that I am entitled. Perhaps I was overlooked. Which is unfair. How would I proceed to file a claim? please email me, XXXX XXXX
