Under 15 USC 1681 Section 604ASection 2, it also states a consumer reporting agency can not furnish an account without mywritten instructions. Under 15USC1666B a creditor may not treat a payment on a credit cardaccount under an open-end consumer credit plan as late for any purpose.

They suspected a fraudulent transaction and seized all funds in account over ( 1000 ) and made another XXXX deposit the day before! I cant seem to get any explanation from anyone at all. Please help

Consumer Complaint: I owe approximately {$7100.00} on my Wells Fargo Home Mortgage. I have an amount well above the amount owed held in an account with Wells Fargo Advisors. I have been trying for weeks to move the money from the account to the mortgage to cover the past due amount and every single time I call I get a new answer. I've opened up a new brokerage cash services checking account, and told funds would sweep overnight for me to transfer, the account is opened but nothing happened. Meanwhile I continue to receive letters, phone calls, etc that I am in default on my mortgage. This is really scary to me and frustrating because I have the money in Wells Fargo but due to the department silos the mortgage folks can not apparently see that. I need to get this resolved asap. I was promised a call by the " executive resolution team '' last week XXXX and have yet to receive this call yet the issue continues to remain unresolved. This is causing me a tremendous amount of stress. I was unemployed for a period of time, and I am reemployed now. I need to make this payment asap, but keep going in circles and can not get anyone who can help me.,

Consumer Complaint: I want to make all consumers and stores aware of more fraud being used by Wells Fargo banks. I opened a store credit with XXXX XXXX to finance new windows and siding on. When first on the website applying I did not know it was backed by Wells Fargo. Had I known prior, I never would have used their financing. As Wells Fargo takes extra steps to fraud its customers. I signed an agreement on XX/XX/2023. My contract states I would receive a promotion of 6.99 % for 48 equal months. My total amount is {$16000.00}. Even though the windows and siding where charged seperate days, they are both under the SAME promotional deal. which should make the payments {$400.00} My husband noticed an issue when the second bill arrived, that would show the charges for both windows and siding and it did not reflect an accurate amount. We are being billed {$400.00}. While this XXXX seem small, it adds up! I called Wells Fargo on XX/XX/XXXX and spent XXXX minutes on the phone trying to get them to explain their math. To which no one could explain. I finally spoke with a woman and was told she was further up the chain and could explain why my bill was slightly higher. ~ I recorded this call at this point~ She said to me that Wells Fargo XXXX my total amount and used a base intrest rate of 2.42 % ( not divided over months ) and that is where they come up with {$400.00}. That amount based on that math matches what my bill is. However it is NOT abiding to my contract and is allowing them to slip in {$3.00} extra each month. I was told I would go into a 10 day dispute process to resolve the issue, but only received another call on XX/XX/2023 stating they find no errors and the previous information was wrong. I recorded this lady also, because I'm also being charged ans extra {$27.00} intrest fee and their calculations are still incorrect. I was told that extra intrest fee was a 4.99 % charge on my monthly balance. To which she would bounce back and forth between 6.99 % and 4.99 % not making sense of why now I its an extra 4.99 %. I'm not sure if they simply read a script from a book, but when I would question her, she would claim she didn't say 4.99 % but said 6.99 %... again I would repeat and ask her to re explain the fees and she would say it again. I had enough of her XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, and told her I was ending the call. I fully believe Wells Fargo is slipping in small portions of extra fees on every customer. Most consumers do not think to figure the math, especially if the amount is decisively close to the actual amount. Wells Fargo is also not keeping to their agreements with businesses to honor their promotions. Which most consumers will blame the businesses for

The mailed solicitation provided a reservation number for the application allowing for minimal personal inputs to submit the form. The letter implied automatic approval. I have multiple checking and savings accounts with Wells Fargo bank. Within 5 minutes, I received an email identifying that my application was denied. The next morning I received a text message from a phone number, that I have verified originated with VISA Wells Fargo. The message states that 2 fraudulent charges have been charged to my credit card, ending in XXXX. If the card application was denied, why is there any Wells Fargo credit card associated with my telephone number? This is the message : XXXX : Verify Wells Fargo activity. Card XXXX {$22.00} @ XXXX XXXX {$10.00} @ XXXXXXXX XXXX Reply Y if recognized, or call XXXX. STOP to stop msgs. 1 ) I did not authorize Wells Fargo VISA to make any test charges 2 ) I believe {$22.00} is Social Security Administration. 3 ) I do not recognize XXXXXXXX XXXX 4 ) Wells Fargo VISA did make a hard credit inquiry, as I got a warning from my credit monitoring system. 5 ) I have not had a credit card with Wells Fargo for more than 3 years, so I do not know where the 4 ending digits are associated with ; At that time I requested that ALL credit card accounts be closed and received notification from Wells Fargo VISA that the accounts had been closed. The numbers do not match any bank account that I have. I have been on the phone with VISA Wells Fargo for the past 30 minutes : XXXX. It is Friday, a normal business day. The front office associate is not able to connect to their executive office or their Fraud department to help explain what is going on. If this is the 'efficiency ' of the Wells Fargo VISA credit.

Consumer Complaint: In CFPB complaint XXXX, I attempted to close my deceased mother 's XXXX ' XXXX savings account and collect her remaining funds. During the course of handling the complaint, Wells Fargo employees fraudulently claimed they can not close the account and send the funds to me because it is a joint account. That is false. At one time the account was joint in that she owned it with her husband, but he died on XX/XX/XXXX. She provided Wells Fargo with the death certificate, and they removed his name from the account. After that the account was in her name only. Additionally, on two other occasions I have provided Wells Fargo with a copy of her late husband 's death certificate. Wells Fargo needs to close my deceased mother 's account and send the account funds to me no later than XX/XX/XXXX. I wish to have ALL communication with Wells Fargo done in writing.
