Consumer Complaint: A domestic transfer of {$5000.00} was initiated on XXXX XX/XX/XXXX from XXXX XXXX XXXX account to my Wells Fargo ( WF ) checking account. The funds cleared XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. By XX/XX/XXXX the funds had still not arrived at WF. I called WF XX/XX/XXXX- they recommended I cancel the transaction to receive my funds ASAP. I provided WF verbal approval to cancel the transaction. By Monday, XX/XX/XXXX the funds had not arrived back at XXXX XXXX. I called XXXX XXXX- they had no record of any pending transaction. I called WF shortly thereafter. WF saw the transaction was cancelled, but couldn't tell me where the money was. WF refused to provide me a 15 digit trace number stating " that is not WF policy. '' They refused to provide me a timeline, or acknowledge the severity of the issue. They could not locate the funds, and claimed the transaction was cancelled XXXX - this is a lie, and we have phone records to prove it. The WF rep claimed a claim was generated, but I do not believe this has actually taken place.

Issue: Struggling to pay mortgage

Subissue:

Consumer Complaint: As the CFPB does not handle individual accounts, this is about XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ) that were XXXX XXXX pooled, and all assigned over to Wells Fargo Bank starting on or about XX/XX/XXXX, for most 99 % of the loans through XX/XX/XXXX by XXXX to Wells without any sale of the mortgage loan debts as XXXX was seizing the portfolio due to XXXX financial difficulties. The remaining mortgage loans that had not been assigned before the FDIC declared XXXX a " failed bank '' on XX/XX/XXXX, were illegally assigned to Wells by the FDIC and XXXX who ROBO signed these assignments. XXXX had a duty to seized the portfolio which it renamed the pools from XXXX to Wells issuer number as if Wells purchase the mortgage loans that made up the XXXX. Wells did not purchase the investor loans that were almost equal to the value of the mortgage loans that XXXX received from the investors who were insured by XXXX up to 100 % of their initial investment, but had no way to force the repayment of the loans XXXX was committed too, but seized the pool in a remote bankruptcy procedure to prevent the court from taking possession of the blank endorsed mortgage Notes that XXXX would have had on hand as the servicer and custodian of records, which XXXX XXXX has no proof of purchasing the loans as it is prohibited by US Congress to buy or sell a mortgage loan. As the Notes are required to be process under the UCC3 procedure and the loan are endorsed in blank as required by XXXX a procedure Wells has done on each of its millions of Fed Gov backed mortgage loans that they have pooled, in which XXXX is not the owner of any of these loans. However, that the Notes do belong to XXXX without owning the debt and as XXXX is not a lender and does not originate any mortgage loans, it is not listed anywhere on the Note and for a fact does not purchase the loans, there must be the UCC9 procedure conducted where XXXX would have to provide proof of purchase. XXXX illegally bypassed this requirement when Wells was illegally address in the Assignment of Deed of Trust as holder of the Note ( not holder of Notes as the custodian ) as a law firm is not listed as a part in the matter as defendant or plaintiff, Wells can not step in the shoes on the assignments for some debt holder, plus it is a fact that XXXX is the debt holder for the mortgage loans. At no point does XXXX provide XXXX XXXX with any documentation of the fact they own blank endorsed Note which prevent XXXX from acting on the loans. XXXX assign the XXXX XXXX mortgage in exchange for the loan debt it owned to the investors that it was already using the mortgage loan principal and interest payment to make the payments to the investors in the passthrough process. The homeowners payment is credited by the debtholder and the monies are passed through, however, as XXXX stopped exist they can not credit the borrowers for a payment and that monies is not credited back from the investors who have collected that monies for repayment of the loans they made to XXXX. The Math does not add up and does not add up in the foreclosure process or any payoff for any reason as the mortgage loan borrowers don't have a debt owned to them by the homeowners! These investors loans are required under XXXX regulation to be paid back before the mortgage loan is released from the XXXX pooling, but in the case of these XXXX loans after XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX does not exist and don't have the monies to pay the investors on the way to losing {$300.00} XXXX, so Wells who not been lent monies under terms of the investor loans, does not purchase those loans with no return, and is why these loans were not purchase before there was action on the loans as in a foreclosure, because those funds went to XXXX to payoff the investors loans out of foreclosure proceeds and mortgage insurance claims leaving no monies in the mortgage servicing account to pay off any mortgage loan debt, but there actual is no debt to pay and this is part of XXXXXXXX XXXX {$300.00} XXXX losses and windfall for the XXXX XXXX homeowners. This is the same as the recent confession by Wells to illegally foreclosing those who filed for bankruptcy, as the bankruptcy court had no clue what was going on from XXXX to XXXX when Wells confess because somebody figured out the scheme and was close to proving the misconduct but short of the Dept of VA loan abuse of Dept of VA borrowers that were as many as XXXX victims. But Wells involved itself with XXXX to defraud the Dept of VA, FHA and those homeowner out of monies XXXX was not owed by these entities. Following the monies from the Wells Fargo Customer Account Activity Statement shows not purchase of the loans by anyone and shows the proceeds of the foreclosure sales and insurance claim went to XXXX which they admit, while not leaving monies to payout the allege debt from the mortgage loan!

Consumer Complaint: I made 2 XXXX XXXX transactions, realized they were a scam before the transaction went through, the money hadnt been deducted from my account when I reported it, the first person I spoke to at Wells Fargo told me she recommended to not stop payment but to open a claim and everything would be fine Wells Fargo denied my claim and now said I cant appeal the decision, I told them had they stopped the transaction before it went through we wouldnt be in this situation, now Im out {$260.00} and Wells Fargo is saying I have no options and it was a done deal, Im just going to have to take a loss, they also told me today that they actually never had the option to stop payment, then why did the first employee tell me different? I have called Wells Fargo several times and have gone in person several times to my local branch. My local banker, XXXX XXXX XXXX, has confirmed that XXXX has not had the funds returned, and had to spend several hours on the phone trying to get help. She was unable to and just went in circles with their phone help desk. The bank XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, became frustrated with the telephone support and suggested they, the XXXX employee, file an escalated complaint. They did this on XX/XX/XXXX and I have not gotten anywhere. Compliant ID is XXXX. I am looking for help in some shape or form to get the money returned to my employer or to have it deposited back in my account. It's not a small amount of money and it's impacting my financially. I don't know what else to do. Any help or support is greatly appreciated.

I left two messages to talk with the bank to get the remaining stolen funds reimbursted but I have not gotten a call back. I have had several non responsces for Wells and would like your help to make sure they are not ignoring this matter. Thank You

Consumer Complaint: I contacted an offer found on a housing swap on XXXX. The police said they did not have prior issues with this housing page. I responded to an offer to rent a unit near XXXX Colorado. The name on the listing to contact was XXXX XXXX. She advertised the room as near a bus stop, pet friendly, and the deposit was the same as one months rent. She sent me a rental application on XX/XX/2021 She then said her lawyer approved my application on XXXX21. I went to the unit after my bank wired her thr money to a bank in XXXX XXXX Texas near XXXX. The owners of the property were home and said the unit was not for rent. They let me sit inside their home and call my bank to refund the money. I didn't recieve assistance that day so I went in person to a branch in XXXX. They took my story down after I filed a police report with the XXXX police. The bank representaive told me this happens sometimes but I was likely to get back 100 % of the deposit. She said if not I guarantee 80 % back in two weeks. That felt like a relief to hear. I called them two weeks later and the same rep talked to me. She said they could not send the funds back because her bank said no. The rep told me I should contact that bank and see if I get different results. I said they were a company worth multi millions of dollars. If the bank did not listen to Wells Fargo why would they listen to me. The rep said there was nothing she could do and no money would be returned to my account. I filed that report with their fraud department.
