Consumer Complaint: I reaffirmed an auto loan with Wells Fargo XXXX XXXX after filling XXXX XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX. I continued making all of the loan payments on time every month. However, Wells Fargo still removed my auto loan from my credit report and said they would report the loan again to the bureaus once it was paid off. I paid off the loan a year ago in XX/XX/XXXX and submitted a request to have the tradeline added back. Wells Fargo sent me a letter which states that they " asked '' the bureaus to add the tradeline back. However, that doesn't seem to be true. I've followed up several times with Wells Fargo and the three main credit bureaus. Wells Fargo tells me they reported the loan but all three main credit bureaus tell me they haven't received any communication from WF Dealer Services on my behalf. In XX/XX/XXXX I decided to check my XXXX report and found an old WF Dealer Service record which was missing data from XX/XX/XXXX through XX/XX/XXXX. So I submitted a dispute through XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX to have the missing months updated. Then the record disappeared entirely. I called XXXX and spoke with an agent who said Wells Fargo 's response to the dispute was to delete the record entirely. I'm baffled at why Wells Fargo would tell me they've tried to add the tradeline back and then also delete the only record remaining. I've been dealing with this issue for 11 months and I'm getting no where. I'm desperately trying to improve my credit score and I really need this loan to be reported on my credit history. Consumer Complaint: I am disputing an account with Wells Fargo. I have asked for validation in which the response did not show a contractual agreement bearing my signature. The most recent letter was sent on XX/XX/2023. The account shows inaccuracies with the date opened, credit limit, date last active and the date of last payment. I am requesting for the inaccurate account to be DELETED off my credit report. It is reporting to XXXX and XXXX I initially contacted the credit bureaus that the account was reporting to and since an investigation was to be done Wells Fargo has not deleted or tried to rectify this situation. The account does not belong to me and must be deleted

Consumer Complaint: Wells Fargo is holding my money without giving me access to my funds or my account in general. This was after I have made a claim with them and received a resolution to my claim. Now they are not allowing me to gain access to my account or funds. This is so frustrating because they have had a closure date to my account for XX/XX/XXXX, and now pushed it for the 3rd time now to XX/XX/XXXX. I need my money and they are holding my money unjustly after calling them over XXXX times they still are not doing anything to help with the ongoing issue. I keep calling and telling them the situation and every agent keeps telling me a different thing. One agent mentioned to me to go to the branch and call the loss prevention phone number and I would be released the funds. The next says nothing will happen with funds till the closure date. Yet nothing is changing and I need my money.

Consumer Complaint: My father XXXX XXXX XXXX passed away XXXX XXXX and he had a joint account with his girlfriend XXXX XXXX. I was able to close is personal account as soon as I had the death certificate but not the joint account since XXXX was still alive. But unfortunately she could not take my father off the account with out me since they were not married and she was unable to get his death certificate. So I was willing to go down with her to take him off. But unfortunately she kept putting it off and she had passed away two months later. I was told by Wells Fargo the account can not be closed unless both next of kin were present with both death certificates and IDs since they were not married and there was no Wills or Trust. If no one agreed on who got what we were told we had to take it to court which no one had done. I had been trying to close this account for months and kept getting the run around from the bank. I even had a letter from the bank stating both parties must be present. I was just recently told the account had been closed by XXXX 's son and that was that. When I called the bank they couldn't give me any information over the phone so I went down and was given the run around several times. When I finally was able to talk to a manager they said they don't know why it was closed and since it was closed they would have to have the XXXX department call me by XX/XX/2023. Well here it is Thursday XX/XX/2023 with no call no explanation. I need an answer on why this has happened with my fathers account. I am the only living child of my fathers so no one is able to get anything legally but me.

Consumer Complaint: I received a fraudulent credit card from Wells Fargo and have called approximately XXXX times trying to find someone there that would cancel it and remove my personal information from their system so they can not open more fraud accounts in my name. On one call a person claiming to be a manager at the executive branch guaranteed me the account was closed and he would submit to remove my information and gave me his phone number which turned out to be also fake. He did not close the account, i am still getting email and letters about it and he did not remove my information from the system or I would not be getting emails and letters!!! I tried going thru wells fargo website to have my information removed and it wants EVEN MORE PERSONAL INFORMATION!! I am not giving this fraud bank more information! So they can open more fraud accounts??!!

Consumer Complaint: My issue has now been resolved but this is the third time Wells Fargo has personally deprived me of fair consumer practices. If I deposit a check, it should not disappear. Yet on XX/XX/2023, I deposited a check and received confirmation from Wells Fargo that it would ne credited to my account. On XX/XX/2023 my deposit disappeared. I called Wells Fargo and asked how I could access my hard earned paycheck and avoid " their technical issue ''. A Wells Fargo agent told me I would be considered to be " double dipping '' if I tried to cash my check via some other method. My check was held hostage and Wells Fargo did nothing to notify consumers or offer us any alternative. Consumers were at their mercy and given their history, enough is enough. I am tired of getting minimal checks for their class action settlements each time they do wrong. They buy out mortgages and loans to entice consumers to stay because it is a convenient one stop app to pay major bills but I am switching to a credit union because nothing is being done to protect consumers.

It was purchased through a Hud voucher section 8 program. Fraud has been committed against me. And I am now homeless and still waiting for answers. From you also CFPB! I have rights and they have been exploited, violated, abused and betrayed in every possible way that one can imagine! All I am asking for is answers. I deserve answers!
