Consumer Complaint: Since I open this account in XXXX I have made a number of requested to increase my credit limit from {$20000.00} to {$22000.00}. Synchrony Bank has repeatedly refused to make ANY increase stating that " The requested amount exceeds the limits set by our credit policy '' without stating what those limits are or increasing my credit limit within those limits. BTW, I have a credit score of approximately XXXX and a yearly income over {$240000.00} and have NEVER missed ANY payment in my life.

Consumer Complaint: I made a promotional purchase on my XXXX store card thats administered by Synchrony Bank on XX/XX/2022. The promotion is for 12 months no interest. They are charging me the full amount of the purchase, {$920.00}. The statement shows regular purchases and then underneath it shows my promotional purchase with the terms of XXXX mo 0 % interest. However, the bill total is for the full amount. I called customer service and was told that I have to make arrangements with the Bank as it pays the full amount for me. I said, I called The Bank and she acknowledged that I was speaking to Synchrony. She said they charge the full amount unless I pay a set amount. I was set up for automatic payments as I dont want to miss one or be late. She advised I can only choose minimum payment or statement balance for auto pay. I said I want auto pay, but I want my promotional price per month. She said it cant be done. Every other institution who loans money over a term sends a bill for the monthly payment as agreed upon. I agreed to pay XXXX equal payments for this purchase, but they refuse to break it down into equal monthly charges. Leaving all calculations to me. They will not receive any payments for any purchases until this is resolved. How hard is it to add an equal monthly installment to my monthly purchases for a Bank?

Consumer Complaint: Hi I have this long dated credit card issues with Synchrony bank years ago and every time I received their Creditor 's letter about my late payment that didn't pay up, I called to their fraud and investigation departments many times and they always told me the issues would be resolved in XXXX weeks and this has been back and forth with this credit card company that they duplicate charged me with something I don't understand why and no one from that creditor can explain but always told me that they are trying to resolve it. this goes on and off for years and affects my credit scores however they were sometimes erased from record ( as i called back and tried to find out the results ) but then after few months it comes back to me again! it's always in this loop of circle that I can not see transparently how they dealt and what they can explain to me the issues if it's solved or not. Today, I am receiving debt collector 's letter asking me to pay back the amount which I am not aware of and not even understand why this mistake ends up me paying for the amount + interests! I need someone who can help me here please thanks XXXX

Consumer Complaint: I recently applied if store card with XXXX. XXXX is bank by synchrony. After filling out the application. I received a message stating synchrony ban needed a little bit more information. With in a day or so I called synchrony bank to provide any information that they had needed to approve me for store card. After briefly speaking a representative from synchrony bank to clarify the information they had needed to approve my application the agent stated that they new to verify my identity by scanning my drivers license.I was sent a link to my cell wich is XXXX to scan my identification card. I ran to an issue with the scanning. It accept the front of my identification card. But was rejecting the back of it. After a few trys of trying to get the back of my identification card scanned. I was locked out. I called synchrony bank back to let them know the issue I was running into. I was connected to agent. Ready to let him know the issue I was having with uploading my document. Before I can even let this agent know the issue he abruptly interrupted and said we seen what we need to see and we are not approving your application. In disbelief I ask the agent why. And he said you will get a letter in the mail XXXX explaining why. I was very confused and felt discriminated against. In the past I had someone trying to use my information to apply for credit cards and loans. 10 years later with me getting my identity back I have several major credit cards one with the highest limit being {$20000.00}. I was excited for applying for synchrony card. But after the agent being very rude and not helpful made me feel very discouraged. This complaint is mostly towards the agent and not synchrony bank. Hopefully that conversation was recorded and they can understand my frustration in this matter
