Subissue: Information belongs to someone else
Consumer Complaint: On XXXX. XXXX, 2022 I called LVNV FUNDING LLC and tried to speak to someone about a fraudulent account some one had opened in my name. I notified them of this fraudulent account on my credit report and asked how to fix this issue. I verified my identity and gave them my new address. They told me to wait for a call back from a different department. I waited no call back. I open my credit report and see not only the account still on my credit report but they closed the account and sent me a bill of {$600.00}. I notified XXXX, XXXX and XXXX of this fraudulent account as well and all of them have not removed this account. This is not my account it is fraudulent and LVNV FUNDING LLC has committed FRAUDULENT activities on my account asking me for information about me for verification purposes not for account update purposes. I never gave permission for them to use my information or obtain my information.

Consumer Complaint: Resurgent Receivables LLC is reporting an erroneous and inaccurate Collection account with a balance amount Past Due of {$2100.00} listing XXXX XXXX as the original creditor to XXXX and XXXX. In violation of FCRA and FDCPA, a Collection should not have a balance amount reported as past due. Disclosures to consumers [ 15 U.S.C. 1681g ], Section 609 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ), and FCRA 611 ( 15 U.S.C. 1681I ). PROCEDURE IN CASE OF DISPUTED ACCURACY. Resurgent Receivables LLC is not my creditor. Consumer Complaint: I asked this company over 5 times to send me a break down of this supposed bill they claimed I owed. I never got anything from them. They slap this account onto my credit report causing me to get denied for my home loan. I reached out to them several times and they kept referring me to the collection agency they sent me to which in return referred me back to the creditor. This bill came from a doctors office which violates HIPPA and I know for a fact I refuse to sign any disclosing of my personal business. they expect me to pay something that goes against the law and I don't have a debt validation either.
