I was never notified of this collection. Whats more, I do not believe this debt is accurate. Under the FAIR DEBT COLLECTION PRACTICES ACT, I have the right to request and receive validation of the debt. Therefore, please provide me with a copy of all the following : 1 ) An explanation of what this alleged account balance is for. 2 ) A calculation of this balance, including the complete payment history on this account, so I have proof that the amount is correct. 3 ) Documentation that shows I agreed to pay this debt with my signature. 4 ) The Agreement that grants you authority to collect on this alleged debt. 5 ) A copy of your state license, including license number that give you rights to collect in my state. Consumer Complaint: I filed an initial complaint to receive debt verification including an original creditor agreement as well as proof of a breached contract from PRA on XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX I received an addition letter from PRA that included an alleged corespondance from XXXX that I have never seen, nor did it match any address I have been associated with. PRA failed to provide the requested contract mentioned above, nor any proof of a breached contract. A second request for an original creditor agreement as well as legal proof of a breached contract was sent to PRA on XX/XX/XXXX. Despite these attempts, Portfolio Recovery Associates , LLC failed to provide legal verification of any alleged debt. Since the requested information was never received despite PRA having ample time to provide such information, I presume that no proof of the alleged debt exists, nor therefore any such debt, in fact therefore exists.

I first reached out to this debt collector company XX/XX/2022 they never before ever wrote me about this so called debt before. I recently sent another certified mail XX/XX/2022 this is when I received numerous outdated paperwork to show as if they've been trying to reach out to me about this debt that is not mines!!! I've asked on two separate occasions to verify this debt they are claiming I owe with original signature on file not showing me the amount of the debt that I do called owed, they refused to acknowledge my request as you will see The documents I will upload again I'm requesting validation not verification of this so called debt! I only received this outdated letter because I open a report with the CFPB. THEY EVEN ADDRESS THE LETTER WITH THE CASE #!

Consumer Complaint: I received separate communications from Portfolio Recovery Associates , LLC, dated XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX, for attempts to collect an alleged debt. I have never given my consent nor do they possess the express permission of a court to communicate with me as a consumer. My rights as a Consumer have been violated in this and so many other ways by the unfair and unethical debt collection practices of Portfolio Recovery Associates , LLC. I was not employed at the time of the initial communication, so it arrived during a particularly inconvenient time for myself and my family. Additional strain was added to an already stressful situation through the use of abusive and profane language, not to mention the false representations made throughout this communication. The communication dated XX/XX/XXXX lists " account offers '', yet I have no account with this company. The balance is listed as {$2300.00} with 6 monthly payments of {$390.00} or 12 monthly payments of {$190.00} paying the full balance. However, there is a " savings plan '' using the following verbiage : 1 payment of {$1300.00} and save {$1000.00} ; pay {$220.00} for 6 consecutive months and save {$1000.00} ; pay {$110.00} for 12 consecutive months and save {$980.00}. The communication goes on to say they are not obligated to renew the offer and first payment must be received by XX/XX/XXXX. Portfolio Recovery Associates , LLC, willfully decided to violate my consumer rights AGAIN. The communication dated XX/XX/XXXX used different amounts in the " savings plan '' : 1 payment of {$1400.00} and save {$950.00} ; Pay {$240.00} for 6 consecutive months and save {$900.00} ; pay {$120.00} for 12 consecutive months and save {$850.00}. This version of the communication states they are not obligated to renew the offer and first payment must be received by XX/XX/XXXX. These communications clearly demonstrate the WILLFUL abusive, deceptive, predatory and unfair debt collection practices employed by Portfolio Recovery Associates , LLC. These practices have largely contributed to the instability of my marriage and family structure and definitely invaded my privacy whilst trying to stabilize them again. I am eagerly anticipating the return of the Certified Mail Receipt from the Affidavit and Invoice sent to Portfolio Recovery Associates , LLC. It is simply mean, heartless and downright evil to willfully prey on people that are doing the best they can to keep themselves and their families above water. Shame on you!

Consumer Complaint: In 2020 I pulled my XXXX Credit Bureau File and found Portfolio Recovery Associates , LLC entered an ERROR on my file claiming I owe {$520.00} to XXXX Bank Nevada, NA. I do not owe XXXX any money, and I do not owe any money to Portfolio Recovery or signed any agreements with Portfolio. On XXXX I send Portfolio Recovery a Certified Letter, Return Receipt Requested, informing them of their mistake, objecting to owing them any money and asking for PROOF that I owe the debt. I asked for copies of any documents bearing my signature from XXXX Bank Nevada showing that I have an obligation to pay this debt. Portfolio responded on XXXX and FAILED to include any proof or any documents, order forms, etc. proving that the debt belongs to me. To date Portfolio refuses to delete their ERROR on my credit report causing me damages.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX reduces my credit score and failed to prove why. I have not applied fir any credit. I paid off a debt. My score should have increased instead of decreasing. Where do I report XXXX because it appears that the CFPB is useless. I have always been told that creditors and reporting agencys target XXXX I feel XXXX decreases my credit score in an effort to prevent me from having a good score when Portfolio Recovery falls off. It appears to me that this company is unfairly tampering with the credit scores of consumers with poor credit to make money. I personally think this is how this company makes money. Due to the fact that the CFPB takes no action against them and allows them to govern themselves and the outcome is the reason so many people are homeless age without transportation. Portfolio recovery us illegally coming after me fir a debt that has been discharged years ago. Portfolio recovery is not being honest about the open date.
