Consumer Complaint: I contacted Portfolio Recovery Associates , LLC. Around XX/XX/2022, to request verification of my debt to them. I demanded that they produce my original contract containing my signature, which was not done within 30 days of my request. Additionally, the agent opened a dispute on XX/XX/2022, which should have triggered the removal of said items within 5 business days until the investigation was complete. That never happened. The questioned items are still on my consumer report and have remained since then. Since XX/XX/2022, the company has only sent a billing statement from XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX which does not verify any debt. There have been XXXX attempts to furnish my original contract, nor any efforts to make an investigation/ rectify this matter in a timely or fair fashion.
