Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX had a PNC Bank Account since XX/XX/XXXX. InXX/XX/XXXX XXXX and I started to see a lot of fraudulent activity on his account. We tried calling the bank and to no avail was an investigation done, the account was not put on freeze nor was the account closed. We did dispute the unauthorized transactions but a lot of the transactions were denied or reversed and XXXX was paying double to triple times for those unauthorized transactions. In XX/XX/XXXX the bank made a {$400.00} error and never corrected it and stated that they had videos from a convenience store ATM and they had no court order to get those videos. Plus in XX/XX/XXXX his account was finally closed and now the bank states we owe them {$80.00} and the bank is still putting money into and reversing transactions from his definite closed account!

Issue: Problem with a purchase shown on your statement
Subissue: Credit card company isn't resolving a dispute about a purchase on your statement
Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/ 2017 I received a call at home from the fraud unit of PNC Bank stating there were 2 fraudulent charges on my credit card. Someone managed to get a copy of my card and purchased 2 XXXX XXXX for a total amount f {$2000.00}. It would be physically impossible for me to do that. I was at work or on my way home from work in XXXX, NJ and the phones were purchased in XXXX, NJ. No one else that I know of had possession of the card. Someone has clearly cloned the card. The investigation dragged for months with the person from the fraud unit barely contacting me. 2 months later I was told to file a police report but with no clear direction where it needs to be filed and being I had destroyed the card in question, I wouldn't be able to provide that to the officers. I would lose at least 2 days of work having to do this. When I would try to call the fraud investigator, I couldn't even call her directly via her extension on the papers she sent over. She had the wrong number. When I was finally sent a copy of the receipts, the signature is clearly not mine. I do understand that it's one of those signature pads but that is not how I sign my name on those pads. Last week, I manage to escalate this to a manager in the retail escalation unit and she leaves me a message it was " resolved ''. Resolved meant that I was charged back for those phones.

Subissue: Problem making or receiving payments
Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/ I made an online Bill pay through my Bank ( PNC ) for a payment to my Mortgage company XXXX XXXX. I accidentally made a duplicate payment the following day on XX/XX/XXXX for the same amount of {$2800.00}. As I caught this error, I spoke with PNC to cancel the 2nd payment. While PNC reached out to XXXX XXXX to cancel 2nd payment, XXXX XXXX cancelled both payments and sent the funds back to PNC. Since PNC did not request the first funds back, they show that a payment was made on my behalf. The information above took until XX/XX/ to share this with me. While on a conference call with XX/XX/XXXX, PNC, and PNC 's 3rd party payer ( XXXX ), it was shared that XXXX was in possession of these funds. I was asked, how I wished to proceed and the options where to send money back to XXXX XXXX which should take 2 days to post to my account or send back to me which could take upto 2 weeks. I chose to have the funds sent directly to XXXX XXXX. Since this call, I can share with you that these same funds are lost again. PNC/XXXX is claiming the funds were sent and XXXX XXXX has no receipt of these funds. I believe I have given both banking institutions more than adequate amount of time to conduct the research needed to bring this case to a close. Any assistance you can provide to help locate these funds would be much appreciated.

Consumer Complaint: PNC Bank has taken over the servicing of the loan on my home that I live in. They are refusing to provide me monthly statements as I received from the previous loan holder. I have several other mortgage loans I received monthly statements on without problem. I am also a licensed XXXX XXXX XXXX and work in XXXX XXXX. It is important to me to be notified of my current monthly standing with my loan. I want to verify my payment was received and the funds were correctly applied. I frequently pay more than the amount due and have seen it incorrectly applied in the past. I also want to be up to date on my tax and insurance payments. I have read online the Dodd-Frank act made these notices a requirement.

Consumer Complaint: Dear Sir/ Madam, It is currently XXXX XXXX in the PA Banking Commission XXXX We have received a contact from a previous consumer and wanted to touch base with your company to ensure that all is well. We have confirmed that a lawsuit was not filed against PNC. PNC has been soliciting XXXX XXXX in spite of a cease and desist letter being sent to your entity. The next steps will lead to a federal lawsuit. PNC has been told to leave XXXX XXXX alone several times. However, PNC never seems to understand the message. XXXX XXXX cashed the {$500.00} check at PNC 's approval. An agent from PNC contacted XXXX XXXX and had left a detailed voice message stating that the check was in good standing. No blocks or any adverse action was taken against the check. PNC is now blaming XXXX XXXX for stealing {$500.00}. If PNC does not leave XXXX XXXX alone, I will contact XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, NY ( DOJ ) to sue PNC for harassment and defamation. I am attaching this email that was sent by an employee in your company. PNC should have processes to keep employees under control. PNC is negligent as it has violated a cease and desist order. PNC must not make any more inquiries about XXXX XXXX to any Consumer Reporting Agency. PNC must mind its own business. I hope that you will follow this demand letter. Legal action will be filed if any provisions are violated in this letter. Sincerely, XXXX XXXX ( DOS ) PA BANKING COMISSION

Consumer Complaint: I attempted to shut down the business bank account owned by my company, which I own 100 % .I opened the account 8 yrs ago and gave permission at the time for an employee who has no ownership interest, to be a signer.Since then, I have discovered the employee is using the account as his own personal account-pocketing the income instead of paying business expenses, using the funds to pay personal expenses, etc.He also has been evading taxes for several years both state and federal.I provided PNC with my legal documents proving my ownership 100 %, as well as recent confirmation of that with NJ Division of Revenue and Enterprise Services. The bank account is owned by my business, which I own 100 % .I advised PNC that the only signatory to whom they are deferring, is only a signer because I allowed him to be several years ago. They would not open the account without my authorization at the time-now, PNC behaves as though by allowing an employee to be a signer on my business account years ago, that I somehow signed away all of my rights as the legal owner of my business.I am the only authorized person able to make decisions regarding my business, which includes the removal of anyone involved in the operation of my business, for any reason, at any time.I went into the branch on Monday morning, XX/XX/XXXX and told them I wanted to shut down my account.I provided documents proving my ownership at that time.Later in the day, I was asked to send the entire Operating Agreement, which I provided Monday evening XX/XX/XXXX, approx XXXX.The next morning i spoke to the baker, who told me that she had been instructed to forward my documents to document review, and that it would take 2-3 business days, and after that I could come in and shut down the account-no problem.Instead, I was ignored and given the run-around, as was this banker, whose earnest attempts to assist me were very much appreciated by me, and at the same time ignored by the higher-ups at PNC, who had her jumping through hoops sending my very straightforward legal documents to multiple departments, who would not answer phone calls or her emails until they got around to it, and when they did respond, it was to send her on yet another wild goose chase to find the right person in the right department to accommodate the client ( me ), that PNC clearly does not give a hoot about, because they are so busy protecting ONLY the so called rights of their other client, who happens to be the only signatory on my business bank account, and who happens to be nothing more than an employee who serves at MY pleasure, and who I have decided in my capacity as 100 % owner of my business to REMOVE, due to his illicit financial misdeeds with my business bank account.Currently, this employee has jeopardized the financial well-being of my business by his willful actions, and put my company and me personally in jeopardy of legal action and financial ruin.Since when does a mere signer on a bank account have rights that supersede the rights of the owner of the business for which the bank account exists? Since when does a mere signatory on a bank account to which he has no ownership rights, suddenly call all the shots and in fact negate the business owner 's LEGAL rights to operate her business in a lawful and transparent manner? It is quite clear to me that PNC is continuing to discriminate against me because they prefer to defer to my ( former ) employee, because he is a XXXX and because his method of doing business is to bully and threaten everyone he deals with so that nobody dares to cross him. I have evidence to prove everything that I have said in this complaint. It is astonishing that PNC will not behave objectively in this matter. I intend to hold PNC liable for any and all of the actions taken by the " signer '' on my bank account, should any further legal or financial damage occur to my business, and to me personally, due to their discriminatory, biased, and illegal denial of my rights to shut down my business bank account.

Consumer Complaint: PNC bank intends to defraud its customers. This month I incurred 2 overdraft fees that were unreasonable. On XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX I handed my landlord a check for my rent. She called me to tell me that she had been busy and that she would mobile deposit the check that evening. That evening I signed up for a free trial of XXXX not aware that they would still charge my card {$1.00} ( apparently for verification purposes ). On XX/XX/XXXX I wake up to an overdraft fee. PNC is claiming that they processed my rent check and the {$1.00} in less than 12 hours. I emailed to try to get this unreasonable fee waived and was denied, the representative suggested that I keep some money my savings account to cover future overdrafts. Fast forward to XX/XX/XXXX. I was charged an overdraft fee for pizza that I purchased for my children totaling {$26.00}. I definitely did n't understand this charge because I had put {$50.00} in my savings account 2 weeks prior. When I called the PNC representative told me that my savings account had been closed a year prior. I asked several questions regarding the closure of the account or why the previous rep suggested that I put money into a closed account and she had no answers and was not able to waive the fee.

Consumer Complaint: We recently sold our home which started out as XXXX XXXX XXXX, now PNC. We received a refund check for pmi insurance for {$560.00}, but could n't cash it because it was in the banks name. Several phone calls they explained that was a bulk check and we were getting {$6.00} back from that. I have the original documents signed when I bought the house, and it shows for PMI insurance my maturity date is XX/XX/2017. That probably was correct except I opted to do the twice a month payment when I got the loan. Because of that I was at 53 % at closing. Well below the 78 %. I know what it shows by what I signed, but the numbers do n't lie. 53 % is 53 %. PNC is standing by what is signed not actual numbers. According to the HOMEOWNERS ACT Any loan modification shall payment schedule should be recalculated.mine obviously was not? I have been in contact with XXXX XXXX XXXX
