Consumer Complaint: . For the past two years since OCWEN has taken over the servicing of my mortgage I have been constantly harassed with phone calls, foreclosure threats and charged late fees when I have been complying with my contract and paying on time. Ocwen takes more than 10 days to process payments and deposit checks, claiming that I am late. I understand that Ocwen was prosecuted. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau obtained a Consent Judgment against Ocwen, for XXXX in principal reduction and XXXX in cash to foreclosed homeowners. In spite of this court order Ocwen still continuous to violate the Consent Judgment Order, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act with false misleading representations and unfair practices. I understand that Ocwen is a collection agency that services my loan. They refuse to tell me who the principle note holder is or give me contact information and this is causing me extreme anxiety as to what my legal rights are.

Consumer Complaint: We received a notice dated XXXX XXXX, XXXX from the law firm of XXXX XXXX XXXX advising us that our Ocwen HELOC loan had been referred to them for foreclosure. The loan had been reinstated by telephone XXXX XXXX, XXXX and in writing XXXX XXXX, XXXX. Our bank transferred by wire {$5000.00}. ( substantially more than the {$2700.00} quoted as the reinstatement amount ) to Ocwen on XXXX XXXX, XXXX. Concurrently, our bank advised Ocwen of the funds transfer by email. Ocwen informed us by telephone on XXXX XXXX, XXXX that they reneged the reinstatement. Since XXXX XXXX, Ocwen changed the payoff amount and due date countless times. Each time a different Ocwen representative contacted us, not one of whom was aware of prior letters or phone calls or the most recent information given us by Ocwen. Also since that time Ocwen has been able to provide accurate accounting on our loan, whether it was credit for payments made ( substantiated by their own monthly statements ) and when, credit for additional payments made to principal, etc. We also received numerous calls requesting overdue payment amounts ; when asked for the remittance address, the Ocwen caller hung up the phone. On one occasion, I contacted the same representative and was told she was unavailable ; I said I 'd hold until she became available. After 2 hours I was told she 'd left for the day and it was n't known when she 'd return. When I had " telephone appointments '' with our designated " resolution manager '' I was contacted by yet another representative who said that that person was on another call, in a meeting, away from her desk among other reasons I could n't speak with the same person. Then the new representative, oblivious to former information, continued on to give more erroneous data. We have acted in good faith with Ocwen to no avail. Full documentation is available, if necessary, for all of the above statements.

Consumer Complaint: I have for the last few years paid {$300.00} to my Escrow, now my Homeowners Ins. and Taxes come out, they are {$1900.00} for my Ins. and {$480.00} for my taxes. That totals {$2400.00} per year from my Escrow which has a total of {$3600.00} in it, now once that amount is paid, my balance is {$1100.00}. Now each year this money in my Escrow just disappears. No record of it, I want to know why did they increase my Escrow payment for more than what is needed and where has the extra money that remains in my Escrow gone? It should go to me or be paid toward my next year Escrow, this has been going on for years now. Please, the excess payment has put me in a stressful position for years, so where does the hundreds of extra dollars in my Escrow go too?

Ocwen filed a response to final cure payment in by Chapter XXXX Bankruptcy case indicating that I was current at the end of my Bankruptcy Case. Ocwen is now asserting that I have an escrow deficiency of approximately {$10000.00}. Ocwen will not provide me any additional information regarding the deficiency ; however, I have always had escrow included within my payments. My taxes and insurance have not increased significantly since my Discharge.

Consumer Complaint: I have had trouble from my mortgage from the get-go. I was forced into a mortgage with a refinance of 2 years with a prepayment penalty lasting 3. It cost me my equity. I really needed the money to fix the damaged home I was sold ( a Realtor vouched for it and I bought it sight unseen ( never again! ) This was INDYMAC Bank. Finally after an attempted ( and found to be illegal ) foreclosure a few years later after a near-fatal car accident that cost me my only vehicle and with NO compensation added to their repeated " loss of paperwork '' jive for a loan modification the government stepped in and created XXXX INDYMAC 's new company. We got our modification and everything was ok. Then out of the blue we find out our property is actually XXXX XXXX XXXX ( we bought the property that said it was XXXX XXXX XXXX ). We have tried for years to change everything but the utilities and now OCWEN ( New Co mpany spelled backwards ) refuse to make the change. Then we get our mortgage sold to OCWEN a debt collector located in XXXX, XXXX. We were fighting with our insurance XXXX who dropped us after 10 years of denied requests for fixing our home that was severely damaged in XXXX and the various other weather phenomena here in Alabama. While fighting with them, OCWEN gave us forced insurance with a company they created ( XXXX ) and raised our mortgage well beyond my ability to pay. Now we are several months behind ; the last payment I sent in XXXX of 2015 of {$250.00} they wo n't put in my account because it was supposed to be {$280.00} which is sadly too much for me. Evey time it rains my house floods. My home repairs and high utlities ( heaters, dehumidifier etc ) takes most of my {$730.00} just to keep it going. I have XXXX children and support them and my XXXX ( XXXX ) wife who does have papers saying she could work if there were no people around. There are no jobs like that here in XXXX. I am on SSI for XXXX XXXX so even that small amount would have cost me the money for the repairs I must attempt on my own and am still paying off. I applied for a loan modification in 2015 that is still being dragged out with : '' need additional information '' :, but they never tell me what I need. At this rate my home will not be able to be saved as they reuse to cooperate and continue to use INDYMAC '' S number to harass me all hours of the day and night costing me time on my government phone. In the beginning they called me from another number, but since this process started ( loan mod ) they are using INDYMAC 'S number to call all day long and often after XXXX 7 days a week. Even if they are a debt collector they still have laws to follow and I am not seeing any of this being done. They send me tons of paperwork stating the same thing, but nothing as to what I lack to use their insurance to help with the repairs ( the insurance is still in the payments and OCWEN did say I could make a claim ). I am so lost. My wife 's wedding present home of almost 12 years is on the line, it 's now a wreck and my utilities are high because of it. I have given them everything I have. I am worried about them being a foreign company with all of my information. This is an unsettled world we live in and having my info out there ( I got a call from a representative I traced to XXXX and the rep had my social security number and everything on his phone and you could hear he was on an open street with lots of foreign-speaking passerby 's that could possible have seen my info on his phone. After that scary call my wife disconnected our home phone and she lives in fear of any problem that may arise from my very private and personal info being so public. I have no idea what to do. My house is wrecked, I have this company acting shady, and I can not afford to move or even pay what goes for rent nowadays. If my house was in good shape I could afford $ XXXX- $ XXXX/month for mortgage.

Consumer Complaint: good morning 3 years I got control of my house through the court. my ex husband has no say so on I what can do. I was trying my best in responding with owcen I had mailed and fax, scan with all the paperwork I was required for loan modification. all I want is to pay on the house in three years I maintain the house inside and out still no word. I mention to them if anything is mailed with XXXX XXXX XXXX on it I will not see it. he filed for bankrupt which I did not know. Saturday this lady drop by house telling me the is on forecloser and they suing me, my ex-husband and hud, I had wrote to Hud and they told me to contact your service. let me know if I need to get a lawyer, I want to stay at my home. I feel this is injustice when all I want to pay. this is my ocwen acct # XXXX. thank you

Consumer Complaint: We paid our servicer, Ocwen Loan Servicing two ( 2 ) months in advance monthly mortgage payments. Per Ocwen credit history report on the first page, Ocwen reported in XXXX 2016 for XXXX 2016 only! Ocwen failed to report our advance monthly payments that were made. Per the credit reporting statement from Ocwen, on the XXXX page reflects that Ocwen reported to the credit bureaus on XXXX XXXX 2016 and our account is current. Per the payments and amounts due statement from Ocwen reflects our next payment is not due until XXXX XXXX 2016 for {$690.00}, XXXX page. Per the payment history statement from Ocwen, this statement reflects that we are not due until XXXX XXXX 2016, forth page. The facts are, the documentation that is enclosed reflects that we paid Ocwen loan servicing advance monthly payments. Ocwen has failed to report to all the credit bureaus accurately. Ocwen has failed to report to all the credit bureaus that we are current until XXXX XXXX 2016. Ocwen Loan Servicing must report to all credit bureaus accurately, by law. Ocwen Loan Servicing must be required to report our advanced monthly payments, reflect as current, reflect that we are not due to make another payment until XXXX XXXX 2016. Ocwen is hurting our chance to improve our credit history, our FICO scores and a future loan!

Consumer Complaint: OCWEN Mortgage company updated their ACH part of their website and somehow lost my payment that was scheduled to come out XX/XX/XXXX. They have blamed me for this mistake several times. Today XX/XX/XXXX I get a letter in my email that blames me for cancelling my payment. I never cancelled my payment! They just never want to be responsible for any mistake they make. This is poor customer service to say the least. This letter that they just sent is 3 1/2 month after the incident. It made me wonder why would you send it to me now? What are you trying to cover up?

Consumer Complaint: IN XXXX MY WIFE AND I FILED CHAPTER XXXX BANKRUPTCY. OUR MORTGAGE WAS BEHIND AT THAT TIME.WE INCLUDED OUR ARREARS HOWEVER WE PAID THE NOTE OUT OF POCKET. THE BALANCE IN XXXX WAS APPROX. $ XXXX AND IN XXXX WE APPLIED FOR OUR FIRST LOAN MOD FOR WHICH WE WERE APPROVED. WE FILLED OUT THE PAPERWORK AND SENT IT BACK TO OCWEN LOAN SERVICING LLC . IN XXXX WE ARE NOW DIVORCED AND I PERSONALLY APPLIED FOR ANOTHER LOAN MOD BASED SOLELY ON MY INCOME ONLY. IT WAS GRANTED HOWEVER IN VIEWING THE PAPERWORK I 'VE NOTICED THE PAYOFF BALANCE IS OVER {$43000.00} HIGHER THAN IN XXXX. WHEN I INQUIRED ABOUT IT XX/XX/XXXX WITH OCWEN SERVICING I 'VE BEEN GIVING NO CLEAR EXPLAINATION. ONLY THAT IT WAS AN ESCROW ADVANCE AND INTERESTS. I CA N'T MATHEMATICALLY COMPREHEND THE ASTRONOMICAL NUMBERS I 'M GIVEN, ESPECIALLY WITHOUT PROOF.IT APPEARS THEY ADD YOUR DEBT TO THE REAR AND ADD WHATEVER THEY CHOOSE ON YOUR LOAN AMOUNT. AGAIN IVE MISSED A FEW PAYMENTS IN THE PAST THREE YEARS BUT INCREASING MY MORTGAGE BY $ XXXX IS CRIMINAL IN THREE YEARS. MY NEW BALANCE IS NEAR {$150000.00} NOW. BUT NOW THEY SAY {$96000.00} IS " DISHARGE OF DEBT '' BROKEN DOWN OVER 3YEARS IN THIRDS FOR WHICH I MUST PAY INCOME TAX FOR AND OCWEN STILL SAYS I OWE THAT TO THEM TOO.
