Consumer Complaint: I have been trying to get Ocwen to allow me to sell my property through a short sale since XXXX of 2016. Ocwen will not give my listing realtor a letter authorizing her to list the property as a short sale. The XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX requires that when the listing realtor places the property in the XXXX she has to state whether it is being sold as a short sale or not. And without a letter from Ocwen saying that Ocwen will consider a short sale ( not approve but just consider ), my listing agent can not say in the XXXX that it is a short sale. All we need is a simple letter saying that Ocwen will consider the short sale so that we can list it on the XXXX as a short sale. I have submitted at least XXXX short sale applications, just hoping to get Ocwen to say that it will consider a short sale. But of course Ocwen wants a sales contract, so it refuses to respond to me or review my application. But of course I can not get a sales contract or offer because the XXXX does not permit my realtor to list it as a short sale, without the statement from Ocwen saying that it will consider a short sale. All we need is a letter, a simple letter, and Ocwen will not provide it. The house is in foreclosure, and I have spent countless hours dealing with short sale applications, dealing with the court and with Ocwen 's attorneys, and no one can get Ocwen to provide a simple letter saying that it will consider a short sale. That 's all I need to allow my listing realtor to move forward.

Consumer Complaint: Our home flooded XXXX XXXX, 2016. We submitted a claim with our Flood Insurance and was paid XXXX in damages. The check was written to us and Ocwen Loan Servicing, LLC ( our mortage co ). ( loan no. XXXX ) ( XXXX ) We contacted Ocwen and was put through to their Loss Draft Department. We were told what documents were needed to get draws from our account. We have repeatedly submitted ALL REQUIRED documents and Ocwen has paid out XXXX as of XXXX. We submitted 3 estimates to be paid on XXXX XXXX. We have called several times a week to check the status of the checks. We are told EVERY TIME something different, ie. XXXX documents now rejected, adjuster document rejected ... They have ALREADY paid out on these contractors bills, how are they now rejected? We are then told our " request for payment '' will be sent to be approved, then we are told are request was approved and check submitted only to NOT receive the check. We paid a fee to have ALL payments overnight mail to us. We call the next day and are once again told the exact same thing, from the rejected documents, to its going to board for approval, to it will be sent out with note to rush the process, etc etc. We CAN NOT have our home repaired and completed if Ocwen holds our insurance money and does not pay out to our contractors. We are homeless and just want to go home. This is OUR Insurance money, NOT Ocwens money. How can they NOT pay out when we have complied with their policy, rules and regulations.

Consumer Complaint: Currently, Ocwen wants me to start the modification process all over. Ocwen has lost or misplaced my paperwork multiple times. I have answered every call, attended every appointment but when it come time to submit paperwork something happens. Recently they approved my modification. I completed all of the trail payments, submitted all of the paperwork even after the XXXX set was destroyed by rain. Then on XXXX XXXX they denied my paperwork after assuring me that they have my file and I only needed to correct XXXX slight issue. I returned their paperwork before their due date and they have since started foreclosure precedings on my home. Even though they send me an agreement saying to return the corrected paperwork by the XXXX and the loan is still modified. Multiple phone calls have only lead to their reps saying everything is ok yet they continue to send denial letters and foreclosure paperwork.

Consumer Complaint: My entire experience with Ocwen loan has been extremely difficult. They have returned payments once I fell more than 60 day behind and they advised my bank that it was returned due to an invalid account number. I have been misinformed countless times by reps. My biggest issue is the violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act. XX/XX/2016 I wired Ocwen {$3700.00} to bring my loan current. I was advised by numerous reps that my credit bureau report will be updated. One rep informing me it would be done immediately. Since XX/XX/XXXX I have checked my credit with XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX Free Credit Checked as well as ran free reports from all XXXX Bureaus. My credit has not been updated since XX/XX/XXXX and since XX/XX/XXXX with XXXX. I have disputed this with all bureaus and I have made numerous attempts to resolve this with Ocwen. My last attempts have been with their Escalations Department where they claim my Credit Bureau report was updated XX/XX/2016

Consumer Complaint: For over 14 months Ocwen has had my misdated letter claim and refuses to process. Why have Ocwen senior management teams not had criminal charges filed against them. They have wrongly reported me as delinquent when I have a letter on Ocwen letterhead apologizing that for 3 years they failed to open a XXXX file which was in effect when they took over from Homeward Residential. My loan mod paperwork was lost time and time again. They refused to complete the loan modification since they could not find income verification paperwork. XXXX staff are XXXX and can not read XXXX. The executive committee are worthless as is office of Ombudsman. My home was scheduled for foreclosure in XXXX 2014 due to their error. I hired XXXX another bogus scam firm to get Ocwen to remove inaccuracies on, credit reports that are over 10 years old and the statute of limitations has expired. Month after month Ocwen continues to report incorrect information and XXXX is worthless. Yet ocwen continues to fail to remove these credit bureau reporting inaccuracies. I have complained to CFPB several times before with no results. Interest rates went as high as 18 %.

Consumer Complaint: In XXXX my husband and I fell behind on our mortgage due to his being laid off of work and subsequently filed Chapter XXXX bankruptcy protection. Our mortgage at the time was being serviced by Ocwen. We filed chapter XXXX on XXXX XXXX, XXXX and began paying as scheduled by the Chapter XXXX trustee with the understanding that all missed payments were part of the chapter XXXX plan. We continued to pay our mortgage to Ocwen on time each month and at some point our mortgage was sold by Ocwen to XXXX. Now that we are discharged from Chapter XXXX, XXXX is claiming that we are behind dating back to XXXX XXXX when our loan was owned by Ocwen. After contacting Ocwen, they gave me a copy of our payment history and it appears that they were not applying our monthly payments properly, instead of our post-petition Chapter XXXX agreement, they were applying each month to cover past due amounts that were being paid through the Chapter XXXX trustee. I would like Ocwen to fix the accounting errors on my account and work with XXXX to also correct this error. XXXX is reporting us as late every month since were were discharged due to the " missing '' payments that Ocwen misappropriated.
