Consumer Complaint: I 'm requesting a mortgage modification to my existing XXXX mortgages. I just moved out to California for a job. A few months later the entire department was outsourced. As a result, my income is not what was anticipated. I have good credit. I have no wish to miss payments and a modification is appropriate. Moreover, after being XXXX military ( XXXX ) XX/XX/2011, I attempted several times to modify my loans for XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX to OCWEN to XXXX ) and XXXX XXXX XXXX # XXXX XXXX, ( XXXX to XXXX ) but was repeatedly denied this opportunity. Finally, this loan companies in question ( all ) continuously misplaced information on the condo HOA and the HOA 's insurance, and demanded updates of the same information every year despite the fact that the information never changed. Worse, the only notice they provided for said demand invariably took the form of a fine or penalty as a result of not providing the same information - provided every year for the last several years already - yet again. Despite the fact that they did n't request it, the HOA has not changed, and it appears to all that they were merely acting ignorant ( as if they have n't repeatedly received the same information the pretend not to have every year ) as a pretext for imposing fines and redundant insurance policies. I think this is wrong and I again renew my requests. Thank you, XXXX XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: We are a XXXX who completed hail damage repairs on a property in XXXX XXXX, WY. The original estimate was {$23000.00}. There was an insurance supplement of {$8300.00} and an additional supplement of {$260.00} bringing the total repair to {$32000.00}. The homeowner has a deductible of $ {$1600.00} so what the insurance company, XXXX XXXX XXXX, paid was {$30000.00}. These funds were sent to Ocwen Loan Serviing, LLC. The claim was made to the insurance company in XXXX of XXXX. Ocwen Loan servicing sent the initial payment of {$20000.00} in XXXX, XXXX with a balance of {$9700.00}. On XXXX/XXXX/XXXX the final bill for the work was submitted to the insurance company for payment and the final inspection was completed on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. I have been trying since then to get payment from Ocwen Loan Servicing. I have faxed and emailed the same paperwork to them several times and have documented all faxes, emails and phone calls to Ocwen and would like to provide you with this documentation. It has finally come down to the fact that they verified they received the initial check from the insurance co of {$20000.00} in XXXX, {$260.00} on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX, {$8300.00} on XXXX and {$1100.00} on XXXX. They stated to me on XXXX that a payment of {$1400.00} was to be mailed out that day, I asked why that amount and they stated that was all they were holding. I called back and spoke to another representative that day and she verified that they had received the {$8300.00} but the funds were missing. She called the ins. co. and verified that the check had cleared their account so she put a search on that check. on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX I was told the missing funds had been found. a request was put in to expedite release of the funds. I called again today but they could not give me any information on it or when the funds would be released and suggested I call again on XXXX. Because I have been trying for 2 months to get my payment, my concern is that I am not the only person fighting with this company for payment. I feel this company needs to be looked into as their business practices are awful. There may be a miracle and I will receive payment but I have run out of hope of that happening, that is why I am reaching out to you. I am hoping there is a place where I can attach my documentation to this complaint so that you can see what I have been going through.

Consumer Complaint: I am currently in the Deed-in-Lieu process with Ocwen. My hardship paperwork has been in their possession for a full 9 months ( since XX/XX/2016 ). The process has been incredibly slow but now we are absolutely stuck because they can not find the assignment of mortgage. Without the assignment of mortgage, they can not complete the deed-in-lieu documents. And without the assignment of mortgage, it 's unlikely I can move the property out of my possession through a short sale either so I 'm stuck with very few alternatives.

Consumer Complaint: In XX/XX/2010 my mortgage owned by Litton was sold to OCWEN. OCWEN immediatly served me with foreclosue process, even though I was keeping up with my payments with Litton. I spent 9 frustrating and expensive months ( paying legal fees ) to obtain a loan modification. I tried to send payments in during the 9 month period but OCWEN would reject them. As each month passed I never knew whether me and my young daughter would have a roof over our head the next day. When my loan modification was finally obtained, OCWEN promised that if I made my payments on time for 3 years that they would forgive the fees and penalties they had accessed me during the foreclosure process. I kept my payments on time for the past 5 years and now am getting ready to sell my home only to discover in Escrow documents that OCWEN is charging me an additional {$70000.00} in addition to my mortgage payoff amount. They are calling them " shared appreciation ''.

Consumer Complaint: THIS IS NOT A DUPLICATE COMPLAINT This is a new complaint written on XX/XX/2017 addressing Ocwen Loan Servicing 's illegal attempt to sell my home scheduled for XX/XX/2017. For the fourth time, Ocwen Loan Servicing is attempting to illegally sell MY home. I have had to file previous complaints to address the previous three illegal sale attempts of this entity. Once again, Ocwen Loan Servicing is in gross and blatant violation of CFPB regulations, federal and state law, and a consent judgment governing their behavior. What is it going to take to stop the illegal behavior of this entity? We have been struggling to have our mortgage modified with Ocwen Loan Servicing for a number of years now. We have always qualified easily for a modification, but this company has done everything they can do to avoid modifying the mortgage. They have instead continually attempted to foreclose on us illegally, in clear violation of CFPB regulations. Because of a consent judgment against Ocwen Loan Servicing, this company is required to follow a very specific modification process and they are required to modify the mortgage. Ocwen Loan Servicing is completely out of control and we desperately need protection against their endless unlawful attacks. It is likely that the activities of this company are negatively affecting many Americans. Specifically, through their haphazard implementation of a fictitious modification process, Ocwen has continually disregarded numerous provisions of the Home Affordable Modification Program ( HAMP ) enacted under the Troubled Asset Relief Program ( TARP provision of the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008, Pub.L. No. 110- 343 ; 122 Stat. 3765 ; 12 U.S. C. 5201, 5211-5241 ; 5219 ( a ) ), Regulation X, 12 C.F.R. 1024.41 ( g ) and ( j ), Regulation X 1024.35 ( b ) ( 10 ) and other laws over and over again. In addition to the modification problems, they have also been dual-tracking me by continually attempting to foreclose on me while I have been in the active modification process the whole time. We clearly and easily qualify for a modification, and these people know that. Blatantly attempting to foreclose on and steal the home of someone who clearly qualifies for a mandatory modification is a grossly criminal act. This complaint should be referred to the appropriate authorities for criminal prosecution.

Consumer Complaint: I have had a mortgage with OCWEN since 2002. Due to severe financial hardships, I had to remortgage my home that was previously paid for. I have repeatedly asked for modifications to this loan # XXXXxxxx. I was put behind in my payments, when I applied for ( the first of three ) modifications to my mortgage, by being told, via a recorded message NOT to make any payments until the modification was approved. This caused me to fall behind, adding payment on top of payment Then, OCWEN did not approve the modification, and said I owed all the back payments, which was impossible to make, causing my mortgage to fall into default, causing extreme stress and heartache. At one time I was forced to pay app XXXX A MONTH FOR AT LEAST 12 MONTHS, ALMOST CAUSING ME BANKRUPTSY ON A {$56000.00} MORTGAGE TO CLEAR UP THE PROBLEMS THAT OCWEN CAUSED!!!. FOR OVER 12 MONTHS, I HAVE MADE THE PAYMENTS ( {$870.00} app ) ON TIME, AND HAVE ASKED FOR MODIFICATIONS AT LEAST THREE TIMES, AND WAS TOLD EITHER I DID N'T SEND IN THE PROPER DOCUMENTS, OR THEY DID N'T RECEIVE THE COMPLETE DOCUMENTS THAT WERE ON THE LIST, OR THE DOCUMENTS WERE LOST. THE LAST REFUSAL WAS THAT THE INVESTOR WAS NOT ACCEPTING ANY LOAN MODIFICATIONS AT THIS TIME. THE XXXX AND HEARTACHE FROM THIS COMPANY HAS SICKENED ME TO NO END. I JUST RECEIVED A CHECK FROM OCWEN FOR {$740.00} FROM THEIR ESCROW DISBURSEMENT ACCOUNT, BUT I AM AFRAID TO CASH THIS AS THEY MAY ADD IT TO MY PAYMENT DUE! CAN SOME ONE HELP ME?????

Consumer Complaint: I have been working with Ocwen, my 1st mortgage for a very long time to process a short sale. I have submitted various offers for review and after months and months of having them take their time to review the offers, request several appointments to come into the home to valuate the property, they now refuse to proceed with approving the offer they currently have for a short sale. They have given plenty of excuses as to why they will not work with me today to avoid foreclosure but not once over these last several months have they tried to help me with being able to sell my house. After all of the hoops I jumped through to accommodate them. Today they note that the reason they will not work with me is the current sale date- but they have postponed my sale several times in the past and for some reason today are refusing to work with me and postpone this one sale that will give me enough time to finally get an offer approved at the amount they seek. I have been battling Ocwen for years regarding this home and now that I have spent a lot of time trying to do the right thing they want to ruin my life by foreclosing. All of my efforts have been made to avoid having foreclosure occur, foreclosure will hurt me financially for at least 7 years.
