Consumer Complaint: This is the third complaint on the same company that I have made to you. Ocwen Loan Servicing is as crooked as they come. First, after forced insurance on what is now a condemned property, my interest fee magically jumped from the XXXX range in XX/XX/XXXX to over XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX, statements a mess with " hidden '' charges the total figure does not match my interest rate, and modification requests constantly denied. In XX/XX/XXXX my property suffered a catastrophic insurance claim, and it has been an uphill fight to get those funds from Ocwen to repair the property the claim was over XXXX and they are still sitting on XXXX and will not release it now 2 years later after repeatedly providing them what they needed .... Now the City is going to tear down the property because I do not have funds to adequately repair it. So not living in this place for over two years because of the funds tied up, and a contractor mis-appropriating XXXX of it. I now stopped paying the mortgage because Ocwen keeps playing stupid on the financial status of everything, and the remaining insurance funding they are sitting on. Six different instance I was told there is n't any money in escrow for the repairs. Over nine times I was told they have no records of repair inspections completed on the property and therefore are sitting on money but they would n't say how much. Twelve times I was told they would have answers on my account which is what they called red flagged within 7-14 days ... .three months later nothing. There are hundreds of complaints online similar to mine about Ocwen and these corrupt practices, preying on distressed homeowners. I single-handedly was raising my daughter here, fought tooth an nail for the place with Litton Loan Servicing previously preying on us, only to be transferred to the vultures at Ocwen Loan Servicing. They are hiding funding, and playing stupid about everything going on with my account. I can not get an accurate statement in writing on anything. They are making out like bandits on this.

Consumer Complaint: This company Ocwen Loan Servicing XXXX has accessed my consumer credit report without lawful authority. I contacted them via facsimile transmission on XX/XX/XXXX. They have not responded. I asked them to send me any documentation that shows I gave my consent for them to pull my credit report and violate my constitutionally-protected right to privacy. They have not sent any documentation showing that I have given anu such consent or that I have any kind of previous relationship business relationship with them. In fact, they have not responded at all. I am invoking the office of the CFPB to take any measures necessary to make them correct the violation before I file suit. If they respond with anything relating to accessing my credit report as being a soft " pull '' that will be unacceptable. An identity theft affidavit and police report will be forthcoming.

Consumer Complaint: Deutsche bank has given me problems every month with my mortgage payments. XXXX XXXX deutsche bank began to return my mortagage payments and has file suit to foreclose my house. In return I have filed suit against deutsche bank to prevent them from foreclosure on my home. I have always paid deutsche bank on the first of every month with a personal check via USPS Certified Mail with Return slip option. deutsche since approx. XXXX has repeatedly held each monthly check past the grace period of the XXXX of each month so that they can turn around and charge late fees and penalties. They have also held my checks and randomly notified me that my checks did not clear my bank as a strategy to place me in default. I have checked with my bank when I was notified by deutsche that my check did not clear, and was told by my bank that deustche never submitted my check for clearing. I have tried in numerous occasions to remedy this problem that deutsche is creating and they have never tried to work with me. deustche bank also sent me their audit of my account back in XXXX showing proof of my mortgage payments and they themselves denied my proof. I have tried to seek shelter from bankruptcy and the judge discontinued my claim. I am XXXX years old and a veteran of the XXXX of 32 years 8 months and 11 days of service and it is apparent that desustche bank has made me their target. I have proof of all the USPS return slips with their signature that they received my mortgage payments. They are trying to take my house away because they do n't want to admit their errors. deutsche has run down my credit score in the process of not accepting my monthly mortgage payments. This is a reach but I feel through their actions against me that deutsche bank may be discriminating against my last name and discriminating against U.S. military veterans. My attorney is in possession of all my records relating to this claim.

Consumer Complaint: I complained about the same situation a couple of years ago. Ocwen sent fictitious records which they will probably do again. I have a mortgage being serviced by Ocwen. I have been dealing with this issue since XXXX. I have been harrassed, threatened foreclosure, They stated I owed them XXXX dollars at one point then I got an attorney and they stated less just three weeks ago they said I owed them XXXX, A week later XXXX. This week we are at XXXX. My lawyer was costing more than the equity so I dropped them and I am back to square one. Bad credit, stress and unable to obtain financial peace of mind. I had the loan originaly serviced by Indymac even though it was the same company it changed to OCWEN. Indymac had sold my loan while having errors. I disputed the errors to OCWEN. I asked them to respect RESPA but to know available remedy. OCWEN does not have a representative to talk to each representative regergetated the amount shown on their computer and when fees where assessed I had no other remedy other than to complain or pay the ballooned balance and eroneous fees or suffer the consequences. Since I am writing this, It can be assumed that I chose to suffer the stress, humilation and embarassment of being chastised by my work as OCWEN called or by being harrassed by the representative. OCWEN upon assuming the loan also began to charge me exessive amounts on my escrow account. They have now stopped accepting my payments as they have done before. They have returned three payments that happened to be the only payments that I have missed during this tenure. I offered them a settlement of XXXX. They accepted however they stated that the loan must be paid off by XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. I obtained a loan from XXXX I explained that it was a settlement and they agreed to work fast. The loan was ready to go all they needed the bank to say was this was a settlement and the loan will be considered paid in full. Every phone call to OCWEN from XXXX XXXX repeatedly stopped the loan by telling the processor that it was a short sale and that the home was in foreclusore. Each time I called the representative they stated that it is not so that it was a settlement. XXXX XXXX attempted to contact OCWEN with the same results that I have had for 9 years. Different representatives and unable to confirm that the property was not in foreclosure or short sale. After the date expired I recieved a letter explaining that they had offered a short sale. Even though I am the original owner who they were offering the settlement to.

Consumer Complaint: In XX/XX/XXXX I made my mortgage and escrow payment to Ocwen Loan Servicing , LLC in the full amount of the previous ( XXXX ) months, which was received on time. The mortgage has a variable interest rate, which happened to change that month, increasing the total payment amount to {$1700.00}. Therefore, my payment was short by {$56.00}. Once I became aware of this oversight, I IMMEDIATELY made payment for the balance, which the bank says was received on XX/XX/2017 ( two days beyond the 30 day late period limit ). The bank has reported this to the credit agencies as a MISSED PAYMENT, ( 30 ) days late. The payment was NOT MISSED or late, the bank held it in their suspense account rather than any number of other options over a {$56.00} shortage that was immediately resolved. This is not factually the same as a missed payment.

I am in the process of retaining new counsel, I will respond to just one of robo-Starr " XXXX '' fraud cover up little games. Ocwen Loan Servicing XXXX is doing nothing but horsing around her barn. Attached is email evidence of Ocwen Loan Servicing robo-lawyer " XXXX '' denying me the right to discuss Ocwen fraud crimes against me before a congressional hearing. Dealing with Ocwen Robo-XXXX is a complete joke and a complete waist of time. If Robo-XXXX is looking for fights with Ocwen victims then she will get one!

Consumer Complaint: I am SO grateful and thankful to the CFPB for your investigation of Ocwen. I have submitted a FOIA request asking for verification of Ocwen 's fulfillment of the XXXX payment requirements of the US District Court consent judgement. My complaint ; what about the additional Ocwen victims not covered in the US District Court Consent Judgement who were forced into unnecessary forced bankruptcies to avoid unsubstantiated foreclosure by Ocwen. Forced to spend money on attorney and bankruptcy fees, unsubstantiated costs while in bankruptcy and the consequences of a bankruptcy on one 's record. These victims have not been abetted. I think that if I started a blog requesting victims respond I am of the opinion numerous victims would respond. When forced to file my unnecessary bankruptcy the bankruptcy judge asked me " why are you filing bankruptcy with only 1 creditor ( Ocwen ) and all this money in the bank. '' I told her Ocwen refused to communicate with me even though I tried calling, emailing, mailing to no avail and that it was a culmination of a 20-year battle with Ocwen trying to steal my home. I can tell you if it was not for the CFPB and the Texas Attorney General 's office soliciting a response to my complaint about Ocwen while in bankruptcy, Ocwen would not have followed the provisions of my bankruptcy. They had already operated in the bankruptcy contrary to Consent Judgement Settlement Term Sheet, Paragraph 1 Foreclosure and Bankruptcy Information and Documentation and sent me numerous letters referencing actions and making demands that were contrary to the requirements of the bankruptcy. My complaint, once again what about the victims forced into unnecessary bankruptcies?

Consumer Complaint: Ocwen Loan Servicing lied to a Federal court and indicated to them that they were my Lender and held first position as Lien Holder. Evidence showed that Ocwen was not my Lender but XXXX and Ocwen had submitted a Fraudulent Title search using their own personal Title company to do the Title search, submitted the Fraudulent Title work to XXXX, Director of FHA . They then sold their Servicer Contract to XXXX, another Servicer, a couple of months or so ago when it was discovered that they had submitted a Fraudulent Title to the Director of FHA, XXXX who indicated to them not to pursue a Foreclosure on my Property because FHA had an invalid Lien on my Property.. It has been found that both Servicers pursued Fraudulent Practices in underwriting, processing, closing and Mortgage Fraud. Both Servicers showed that they escalated the amount of payment $XXXX 0f money fraudulently and statements is evidenced. Hence, I am asking that the License be suspended and Revoke of Ocwen Loan Servicing and XXXX and their Records all be Audit. My phine number is XXXX

Consumer Complaint: Borrower XXXX purchased her home at XXXX, LA in XX/XX/XXXX for {$39000.00}. To purchase the home, she took out a FHA Loan at 8 % interest. Her monthly principal and interest payments were {$280.00}. For the duration of the loan, she has paid taxes and insurance out of pocket. In XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX lost her job and was placed on a 3 year workout program by HUD. During this time, her monthly payments were reduced to {$79.00}. She continued paying principal and interest out of pocket during this time. She was verbally informed that the {$8000.00} in interest she accrued during this time frame would be forgiven upon the maturity date of her mortgage. After she began making payments towards her mortgage once again in XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX remained current on her loan until this date, aside from two months after Hurricane XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX, which she promptly repaid. As her loan was approaching its maturity date in XX/XX/XXXX, she was made aware that there was still an outstanding principal balance of {$15000.00}, plus an interest arrearage of {$8100.00}, and additional fees for a total payoff amount of {$23000.00}. It is unclear why there is such a large remaining principal balance when the borrower 's loan was fully amortizing, and it appears that the servicer has failed to forgive the interest arrearage as agreed to at the time of the workout option in XX/XX/XXXX-XX/XX/XXXX. The outstanding principal balance on the loan does not appear to be accurate.
